I've shopped at Ikea when I was a poor college student, and I continue to shop at Ikea as a recent home owner. Ikea is the only furniture store around that has modern furniture that can hit every price point. I love the Scandinavian/International design and I always hit up the gummy wall while I'm there :) Buying goods for my new home is not painful or scary with Ikea because I feel like I'm getting what I like for a reasonable price. I love how many options there are and I know that if I'm looking for something, Ikea has it.

I recently visited IKEA and was blown away by the experience. The well-designed displays, helpful staff, and affordable products were impressive. However, the real highlight was the legendary IKEA meatballs. Tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor, they lived up to the hype. Accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes and lingonberry jam, these meatballs were a heavenly delight. The only thing I dislike about Ikea is that I cant make these meatballs at home! Love that IKEA now has a full store in Bayamon, Puerto Rico where we can buy and take the merchandise with you, on that same visit. I have always bought from the previous store model, where you have to pick-up your merchandise at a later date, but I definitely prefer to have all the products at hand. Having a cafeteria inside the store is a super plus, cause I can go on my lunch time from work, without taking to much time doing shopping.

If you want quality furniture for amazing prices IKEA is the place to be. So long as you take your time, follow the instructions, and torque the fasteners right these pieces last. The worst piece I ever purchased from them just needed to be re tightened a couple times. Then I finally dropped some superglue in with them and it's been solid as a rock since then!

Ikea has the most useful and usable furniture products! Right now I have an incredibly comfortable twin mattress & box springs from Ikea. It's like sleeping on a cloud! I also have several storage cabinets from Ikea as well as a clothes wardrobe. I like these products because they are well built, easy to assemble and easy to interchange with other Ikea items.

Ikea is clean, spacious and easy to move around. Their food for lunch is amazing! Try the meatballs! Their pricing is fair, unless you are purchasing online, in which case you will spend more to ship an item than its cost. The frustrating part about IKEA is that if you find something, it may not be in stock and most IKEA stores aren't close to where most people live. Going to IKEA is an event, so if they don't have the item, you'll most likely never get it because shipping is way too much.

Ikea is a big playground for adults! I love shopping there. I have never entered Ikea without leaving with something fun. I've found more obscure items that I really needed to see in person to figure out if it would fit/go in my place. I don't get to go often but I love every minute of it when I'm there. I absolutely love IKEA! Their stores are always set up in such a stylish way and their furniture is always great for the price! I have many IKEA items at my college dorm, including a nice decorative, functional piece to hang pictures and papers on and a nice 3-piece organizational cabinet that holds my laundry, kitchen, and hair supplies. I also have a cute little desk organizer, some kitchen supplies, and these nice string lights that light up my room. I could spend hours at IKEA just looking at all their items. They have everything you could ever need! I also got a very nice smelling candle there that I use all the time. IKEA also has pretty good cinnamon rolls so after you’re done shopping you can get one for only a dollar! I always have fun at IKEA!

IKEA has everything you need for your home! I have gotten a few furniture pieces from there that I love. I’ve heard they take a beating if you move with them, but we are still in our first home so they look great and we love them! Some of my favorite things I have gotten from IKEA are the children’s plates, bowls and cups. They are durable and colorful, which my kids love. Another great find is their art supplies. I would have never thought to get stuff like that at IKEA but they have a lot and it’s very affordable! They also have a place you can let your kids play while you shop. I personally haven’t done this yet because one of my kids is too little still and the other wants to go around the store with us because she loves looking at all the displays.

Customer support - VERY BAD. I asked to cancel Sofa from my order, but it was too late. It had to be delivered and then refused. I tried, but delivery boys brought some parts of that sofa into my house and rejected my refusal request. But some parts of sofa were actually refused (#1) - it was July 10th. Then I had to order pickup for return for the rest of sofa parts (#2) I received refund for #2, but I still did not get my refund for #1 According to CS agent "According to our database those items were not returned yet". I am waiting starting from July 10th for the refund and now I am told that... there is no estimated time for refund because it's a special case. Really?? this is your special case, I don't care how you deal with your delivery company. Please return my money. I already did 20 phone calls to IKEA customer support. Can you make this refund happen??

I love IKEA, but as someone who is disabled, I had to stop going once IKEA stopped offering electric carts and switched to manual carts. Now I’m forced to shop with my friends amd family who often do not have the strength to push me because of my weight. So I sit in the car like a forgotten piece of moldy bread. I used to spend lots of money at IKEA but now that I see how little they value people who are disabled I will take my business elsewhere.

Order a couch from them and didn't get the right pieces. They sent us the wrong pieces to connect the couch. Customer service was sending us all around the loop to different area. Kept telling us that we called the wrong area or got transferred to the wrong area. So we kept calling the number they gave us to get the same thing about calling the wrong support. After 4 long hours of going around we finally got transferred to the correct support. Even after the help. It turned out that they didn't even have it in stock but one person said they did. Now we have to take all the piece back ourselves or they will send someone to pick it up but for a return charge. The closes place will be 5 hours away so we are stuck with the pick up return. Not going to order any furniture from them again.

I love Ikea, but only for specific items. The staffing is always friendly. I feel at home when I go there to shop. The prices are great on certain items, but overall good prices. I especially enjoy going to shop near Christmas or Thanksgiving.

I want to love Ikea. I do like Ikea, kinda. I am quite fond of my Ikea silicone kitchen mittens. But, I have been disappointed more than once to see small items displayed, yet not available until much farther into the store. I get that big box warehouse items may fall into this scenario, but small items need not. Ikea furniture isn't always quality, so I have to question if their disposable fare is really an environmentally good choice to make.

IKEA have raised their prices recently. So has everywhere else, but this seems excessive. We used to be able to eat for two people for ~$20 at the cafeteria, but last time we went the price was over $35, and we got our regular favorites. I purchased a speaker three years ago for around $50, and the same one is now $80. They still have some good deals on semi-good quality products, but these price hikes have caused my wife and I to stop our IKEA dates.

The thing i like most about Ikea is their collection and thought process in designing the furniture. But I am giving three start because of not so good return policy. I had to repair a carpet which i didn't use. It was kept in my house for around 3 months as Ikea is little far from the house where I stay. But the CC did not take it back saying there are stains on the back of carpet. They were not stains It was some dust which came on when I was loading the carpet on the Ikea flat trolley. I showed the CC that its just dust and can be cleaned by hands. But he did not listen. Another thing he told me that barcode is missing, When bill is there why do you need barcode? Also no where in the policy it is mentioned.

Not just build it yourself furniture. Scandinavian designed furniture from Ikea offers a contemporary and casual atmosphere at reasonable prices. No pressure sales and warehouse shopping is great for self-service buyers. Although it can't be avoided, pressed board or particle board components are heavy and are not durable, as opposed to solid wood. I opt for the real wood in any of their products.

Ikea is a great home and furniture store where you can find anything and everything related to furniture. They have a wide variety of styles and colors. The store is fairly large but it is separated by sections. The only thing is sometimes the instructions can be a bit confusing when building the furniture. All furniture must be built on your own so you do have to be pretty hands on with setting it up.

I bought 2 free standing white bookshelves that were only 6 dollars each for a makeshift bookshelf and they have held up my books for years. Unbelievable how great the quality is of the shelves, everyone in my family doubted they would stay up. Ikea is the place to shop for affordable and functional furniture.

Most of the organizing items in my home come from Ikea. Their products are reasonably priced. I have bookcases, desks and toy organizers now for 5 years and they are still going strong. When I have time I browse the store. When I am short on time I bypass the displays and go straight for the marketplace. I do not enjoy spending more time standing in the checkout lines then I do at other stores. It is always the slowest process of my visit.

They offer unique, diverse, and relevant products at really great prices. The distinctive Ikea style of manufacturing has come to be a staple in my home and the homes of many of my friends and family because their products fit our needs as customers: to feel thrifty, practical, as well as stylish. The store is notorious for its maze-like lay-out, but the atmosphere they try to create is tied to the experience they want you to have with their products. I would argue that a trip to Ikea is generally well worth your time.

IKEA is a fun place to explore if you've never been before. The store is setup so you have to walk the entire thing - there is a walkway that leads you through so you don't get lost. They do have shortcuts but it can still take you a bit to get to the section you want to go and it's easy to get turned around if you're not familiar with it. They have a large variety of products for a great price, but they won't last long and you have to assemble everything. IKEA is a Swedish company and the styles are simple and made for smaller homes or apartments - very European, which can be nice because you won't find similar products elsewhere. Ideal for college students or when you need something quick and cheap. Just know the majority of their products won't last long at all.
