When can I enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan?

Most American citizens and permanent residents become eligible and apply for Original Medicare, a federally administered health insurance program, when they turn 65. Once you’ve signed up for both parts of Original Medicare (Medicare Part A and B), you have the option to substitute a Medicare Advantage (Medicare Part C) plan from a private insurance carrier. You can make this change during the Initial Enrollment Period (which includes three months before and after the month of your 65th birthday) or every year during the Annual Enrollment Period from October 15 to December 7.

I feel like I was not told the whole truth the benefits. I had a Devoted plan that was so much better than this one . I asked the agent if the new one was the same except for the moneyback and a couple of copays and was it was. That was not true now I'm stuck until next enrollment so I can go back to my original coverage. So not pleased with agents conduct!!!

They took my review down. Don’t trust this company they told me that I was speaking to Medicare. They told me I was getting dental coverage vision coverage prescription coverage. I gave them my Medicare number all my prescription information they told me they were sending me a $6000 spending card. this company is terrible. When I called the next morning I knew they were lying to me, no one would answer all I got messages that they were taking time off for the holidays. What holidays are going on right now ?

A Representative lied 🤥 to me in order to get me to sign up for a new plan. I told her exactly what I needed and she told me this new plan would get me the dental 🦷 implant I needed. After seeing a dentist today the implant was denied. Humana doesn’t cover implants like I was told by the representative with Go Health. So now I’m waiting on Hold with my old Advantage Plan trying to get back on it. It’s a 1 hour wait. The girl who helped me was nice as pie when she was getting me to change my plan. Now Today she’s calling me “ma’am” and saying, “I never would have told you Humana covers implants.” Be careful what you do with these people.

It is seemingly impossible to get information from your company to make an informed decision. The agent I had assumed I was fully covered , cut the conversation short and hung up on me before I could explain she misunderstood. Not good. I called back, got her again - but could not have a productive conversation with her. I felt as if I was speaking to a BOT and not a real person and when I asked if that was the case did not get a response . Asked to be transferred to another agent and once connected with them, it disconnected as well. I will need to seek another company .
