Good pricing, and they re-made glasses for me that did not turn out right. However, the second pair were still a bit off, but I don't think it was their fault. Something with the prescription got lost in translation. This may be a built in problem with the whole "glasses by internet" business.

The glasses are good and the price was good. However, the first pair had to be redone and I was asked to send pictures with and without the glasses and with a credit card on my face and they were able to determine the correct measurement. I would recommend you do that for the first pair and save us all time and money

My first pair if glasses were perfect. The next time was a nightmare. They absolutely could not get my progressives right, even though the prescription had not changed. The glasses they sent gave me a headache after a few minutes. After sending pictures back and forth and sending a copy of my script and three attempts, I finally gave up. Like another customer they had the audacity to suggest it was my prescription, but my glasses made a a retail store using same prescription are perfect. The customer service was horrible. I was in tears dealing with them. The kicker...to cover yourself for their possible mistakes, you have to pay extra for your glasses up front or expect to only get a 50% refund.

STAY AWAY FROM PAYNE GLASSES! THEY ARE DOUBLE CHARGING YOU FOR BIFOCAL AND PROGRESSIVE LENSES!!!! I noticed this discrepancy when trying to buy a pair of their "FREE" glasses. Which, sincerely, breaks my heart because I was really looking forward to buying many more pairs of glasses from them. I've already purchased Distance and Reading glasses from Payne; If they JUST would have replied to me I would still be a customer. I can't add a pictures here but when trying to order from the "Free Frame of the Day" for Bifocals and Progressives I noticed an appearant doubled charge. On the Bifocal you are charged for both $23.95 for 1.56 Digital Lineless Bifocal Lenses AND $19.95 for B Free Bifocal Lenses. There was no way to get the $27.95 B Free Bifocal Lenses you chose because when you got to checkout you had a total price of $47.85 for the lenses alone. Payne did the exact same thing with the Beginners Progressive Lenses. $23.95 for Progressives No Line Lenses and $19.95 for Easy Adapt Progressive. $47.95 total, no way to get $27.95 lenses as advertised. I figured it was something that I was misunderstanding. Maybe one charge was for the physical lense and another was for a coating or something? But, that does not appear to be the case. I PM'ed them on Facebook because on their Facebook post, in the comments, I noted that the site wasn't working correctly for their free pair yesterday and the only lenses you could pick were $12.95, not FREE as advertised. After checking the site again the next morning I went back to reply that it was now working correctly (you could pick free lenses with the free frames, Progressives and bifocals we're still double charging) ..... But my comments had been deleted from the post!! I PM'ed #Payneglasses to ask them to explain what I was seeing. Unfortunately, I cannot attach screenshots here. But, the ones I have would show that I asked them to explain the appearant double charges I was seeing. I sent screenshots from their ordering page on their website with the two charges highlighted to avoid ANY confusion. I also asked them why my comments about the site not working correctly had been deleted because I had returned to comment that the issue was now fixed. They did not reply to a single PM. Though the messages WERE viewed by Payne Glasses. As well, I went back a few minutes ago to give them one more chance to explain before making this post. I have been BLOCKED by Payne Glasses and I am no longer able to PM them on Facebook. I am not able to comment on their post and my previous glowing review is gone from their page. NONE of this appears to be On The Level. If I was misunderstanding something why not just explain? I messaged Payne for that explaination. I gave them 2 days to reply after viewing my messages. I WANTED this to be a mistake on my part...... But, Payne's actions have made it clear that it was not an error on my part, at all.

Price is great. Frames are nice. "not their problem/final sale" seems their go to when they provide shoddy product. "warranty" means you did 1 exchange so all future defects aren't their problem. Customer service chat is useless, most email answers clearly didn't read my question or even offer to resolve my concerns other than "final sale.". If you like lenses where you see blue over 1/3 of the lens because the coating is defective and an outside vendor confirmed same, go for it. Waste of 3 months of my life and my money for useless lenses and offers to have me pay more to fix their error. Buyer BEWARE! Sometimes convenience isn't worth it.

I have been a long term customer - But i got to say the glasses are OK not the sturdiest. But for the price not too bad. The customer service and issue resolution is TERRIBLE - they do not have answers if things go wrong with shipping and you will have to wait (crossing fingers) that your item will arrive (within their 14-21 days) policy. SO if it does not come that is the time they will contact you and work things to resolve the issue. Imagine that - A PAYING CUSTOMER who did nothing wrong would have to wait close to a month before things get resolved - where they could have solved it by just getting a NEW set expedited and shipped. NOW THAT would be CUSTOMER SERVICE.....i guess they missed the memo.

Fake promises/advertising to trick people to buy. Before buying, it was said "3 to 5 business days to prepare the glasses and 14 to 21 days for standard shipping". As of today its 6th business day and my item is still enroute to their warehouse/shipping etc. If you have 1 or 2 months to wait, may be a good buy. Still hasn't recieved the product to comment on the quality. Till now the costumer service is very bad.

I am very unhappy with Payne Glasses. The frames are great, both in style and quality, the cases and lens cloths they send with the glasses are very good, however, the lenses are not good quality at all. I ordered a total of 4 pairs of which only 1 pair is usable. The progressive lenses are not measured correctly for the mid and near vision. The AR coating on 2 pairs of distance only glasses ordered are badly crazed and scratched so that looking out of them everything is blurry. Payne is very poor at returning contact when there are problems and has all kinds of company rules which they interpret as denying you a replacement at no cost of glasses that are defective. I've filed a complaint with BBB and Payne has been less than truthful in its response. I went so far as to take the glasses to my Optometrist and got an Eyeglasses Analysis from a Licensed Optician (and I live in a COVID hot spot) which Payne disputes. In part, Payne asserts that badly crazed and scratched AR coatings on glasses lenses do not interfere with vision! Ludicrous. In short, the few bucks I saved ordering from Payne versus a higher rated company has cost me far more money in lost working time, not to mention aggravation, over the past three months. Moreover, the only correctly working glasses I now have are the one pair of mid-vision glasses that Payne delivered on. To add insult to injury they deducted the 8,500 in reward points earned from my purchase from my Rewards account!
