Customers can get 15 pairs of contacts for free by just paying for the shipping and handling, $1, plus sales tax.

It's like a 2-week free trial for the subscription service.

A helpful monthly subscription is available at a cost of $36 per month plus $3 shipping.

The Bad

  • No Returns
  • Astigmatism
  • Daily Only
  • Insurance

No Returns

Hubble doesn’t have a product return policy. However, if something arrives damaged or defective, you should contact customer service.

If your monthly subscription ships out, but your prescription changed, you can’t cancel. You do have to pay for a new box.

Astigmatism

While Hubble sells contact lenses powers ranging from -0.50 to -12.00 and +0.5 to +6.00., it doesn’t cater to customers with severe astigmatism who need to wear toric lenses.

It also don’t have multifocal or bifocal contact lenses.

Daily Only

Only daily lenses are offered, no longer-term lenses like bi-weekly or monthly. They aren’t the kind that you clean with contact solution and store for later. While other brands may offer different varieties of contacts for various customer needs, Hubble only has one type.

Insurance

When you order contacts from Hubble, you can’t use your insurance, unless you have an out-of-network benefit to get reimbursed. This online contact retailer doesn’t work directly with any vision insurance companies.

The Bottom Line

You can get a cheap contact lens subscription with this company. It will provide monthly contacts at a cost of less than $40 per month. However, if you have extreme astigmatism or you need bifocals, this isn’t the best option.

These won’t be the name-brand contacts that you are used to wearing; however, if you are curious and you want to see if they are comfortable, you totally can, for just $1 plus tax

I love Hubble. This is the cheapest option for daily lenses I could find. The best part is the automatic delivery option so I'm never missing contacts when I need them. They're fast and sanitary and have changed my life.
