In 2005 MailerLite first started as a web design agency but in 2010 made the switch to email marketing. The company's goal is to give businesses a simple and powerful email solution they need to grow their business.
As an email marketing service provider, MailerLite focuses on simplicity and providing superior customer service. MailerLite is an excellent resource for bloggers, freelancers, and nonprofits, as well as small and mid-sized businesses.
MailerLite offers the Free Forever account for users with 1 to 1,000 subscribers. When compared to the competition, MailerLite's Free Forever account includes a decent amount of features. Users have access to video tutorials, 24/7 email support, file manager, rich text editor, landing pages, pop-up subscribe forms, subscriber management, email automation, RSS campaigns, A/B testing, surveys, and more.
However, the free version does have its limitations. Users don't have access to MailerLite's 24/7 live chat support, users can't remove the MailerLite logo from the footer of a newsletter and landing page, users cannot create custom domains, auto resend is restricted, click maps and open by location are not included, and users have a limited number of domains.
MailerLite is one of the most affordable email marketing service providers in the industry. The company's most basic plan is just $10 per month. Plus, users get unlimited emails and access to all the premium features.

1,001–2,500 subscribers
2,501–5,000 subscribers
5,001–10,000 subscribers
If the company budget allows, users may want to opt to pay annually, as MailerLite offers a 30 percent discount on the plans.
Additionally, for those who want to try MailerLite before buying should take advantage of the company's free 14-day trial. The trial gives users full access to MailerLite's premium features. This is great for users who are unsure of which features they'll need for their email marketing strategy.
MailerLite will suspend a users account and start investigating all activity if a user's campaigns have a high percentage of spam complaints (more than 0.2 percent), bounces (more than 5 percent), unsubscribes (more than 1 percent), or has a small open rate (less than 3 percent). Additionally, if MailerLite finds that users were sending emails without permission, the company will immediately terminate the account.
Although signing up for an account may appear to be a simple process, users should know that signing up for an account with MailerLite is fairly meticulous. After completing a profile and entering their website domain email address (this must be a custom email address that uses the site domain). Users cannot use their Gmail, Yahoo, or other free email accounts to sign up. Upon completing this first step, the account is then moved to the approval stage.
During the approval stage, the account will be verified by MailerLite's algorithm. Whether or not the account is approved or denied is determined by this algorithm and there is no human involvement.
If the account is denied, users will get an email. However, the email does not give any reasoning or explanation as to why the account was not accepted.
If users can get approved by MailerLite's meticulous approval algorithm, the email marketing service provider is a great option for bloggers, freelancers, non-profits, and small businesses. The company's free account has several useful features, but if that's not enough, the paid plans are incredibly affordable.
