Helpful Product Filter

We found Byram Healthcare’s product filter feature to be easy to use and superior to that of some of its competitors. You can filter by product, brand, manufacturer, or feature on the company’s website, and you can clearly see all the options and how many products are nested in each filter without having to do any searching or navigating from page to page.

Diabetes Facts and Education

To better help you or your loved one better understand a diabetes diagnosis, Byram Healthcare has dedicated a page of its website to answering a lot of common questions about the disease and educating you about relevant facts and key terms.

This section of the website also includes helpful information like healthy goals and target blood pressures to aim for, the amount of exercise people with diabetes should do weekly, the value of annual eye exams for those with diabetes, and much more. If you are new to the world of diabetes care, this page could be a great resource to you.

The Bad

  • Customer Service
  • Pricing Not Listed

Customer Service

Quite a few Byram Healthcare customers have complained about slow response times and general lack of helpfulness on the part of Byram’s customer service team. They have said that the company doesn’t have a sense of urgency, and some have complained that they’ve gone weeks without necessary supplies because they couldn’t get in touch with anyone at Byram.

Pricing Not Listed

While Byram Healthcare has a robust product line and a nice filtering system on its website, the company does not actually provide any prices on its site. If you want to know how much things actually cost, you’ll have to request that information by filling out a contact form and listing your questions about pricing in a short paragraph.

This is somewhat of a hassle, and Byram could be more transparent with its pricing to make it easier on customers to compare pricing with other diabetes supply companies. Unfortunately, we are unable to say whether Byram is more or less affordable than its competitors.

The Bottom Line

Byram Healthcare has a helpful website and a robust inventory of diabetes supplies that you can have shipped directly to your door.

The company does have some customer service complaints, and its pricing is not readily available, which makes it difficult for us to compare Byram to its competitors in terms of affordability.

Disgusting and Disgraceful company… Absolutely horrible customer service… Byram made the mistake of billing an insurance we did not have anymore and OPENLY ADMITTED IT SEVERAL TIMES!! NOW THEY OWE US 1000$ and after 6 calls STILL NOTHING we will send another inquiry… and what’s worse you can’t hear them… and it causes frustrations which they want so they can hang up on you… openly they also admit they are an overseas call center and they sound like they are in the middle of a bazaar!!! It’s just disgusting and disrespectful… if you need medical supplies this place isn’t for you!!!

Don't have high expectations for customer service, and don't think they care about their patients. Even when it's their mistake. I had the absolute worst customer service from this company. I refilled my order, Received the incorrect product. But the packing slip was correct. But the product was wrong meaning someone in shipping has no attention to detail, or just cant read. Shipping on my order refill was fast. Placed the order on a Thursday morning and received Friday (the next day). I returned home from work to open my package and discover the wrong item was sent. I tried to contact Byram and their offices were closed. So I had to go without my prescription. Contacted them first thing Monday morning and I was told they will get it corrected and I will have a new tracking number by the end of day. I never received that so Tuesday I had to call again. Tuesday I was told the same thing and yet again had to call Wednesday morning. This time I was not as understanding as the two previous calls. I asked to speak with a manager and was denied that request. I was told that a manager would contact me by the end of day. As you can guess that didn't happen. So come Thursday I called again and they said the replacement was approved. now going on 6 days without my prescription. Thursday evening I received an email and text message that my order has shipped, and will be delivered Monday by 8:00 pm. This company is extremely unprofessional. I never received so much as an "I'm sorry" a call back or any communications outside of me hunting people down. They simply do not care about their customers. I've not had my prescription for 10 days now. something that my life and well being depends on. but it does not matter to them. The name of this company is so perfect. Byram.... They take care of you "By Ramming" you. There's so much more that I would love to say... But I'll save that for a "managers call"

The only reason Byram healthcare is in… The only reason Byram healthcare is in business is because some insurance companies force you to use them in order to get medical supplies. That's it. Nobody would choose to work with this company voluntarily. A little history - I've been a customer getting Dexcom G6 supplies from Byram for the past five years or so. My insurance changed this year, and they also cover supplies through Byram. Shouldn't be an issue, right? Well, I've been trying unsuccessfully now to get my insurance information changed. Their customer service agents will outright lie to you and mislead you to get you to get off the phone or chat with them. I had a woman last week take my insurance information and tell me she would update the site, since their website - for some reason - isn't letting me do this. Well, to my shock and surprise they didn't update the information and now I am left without potentially life-saving medical supplies due to their lack of concern for their customers and their incompetence. Byram Healthcare isn't only a bad company to do business with, they should be investigated for criminal negligence in the US and I will be writing my congressmen about doing just that. Avoid Byram at all costs.

Horrible! At this moment I am in a panic because, due to *multiple* repeated mixups by Byram, I have not received supplies and I have ONE INFUSION SET LEFT! I have been trying to reorder for over a couple weeks, and they keep making mistakes! Managers have apologized, but I still have not received supplies. I’m in panic mode and don’t know what to do! Shame on you, Byram, for doing this to someone dependent on you for medical supplies!

An absolute nightmare. My order for diabetic supplies- which I need to stay alive- still isn't filled after a month, despite near daily calls for the last two weeks, waiting on hold for 20-30 minutes each time. Avoid at all cost.

Terrible customer service. They do not value myself as customer. Abby never returned my call and another person did not. Tool 3 phone calls to place monthly order.
