Been 7 months and so far so good. The only negative experience , and this is my fault for not asking Freedom at the beginning of me enrolling, was I needed to find an apartment to rent. In CA you can be denied an apartment for having bad credit. Freedom did provide me a wonderful letter explaining my situation and enrollment in the program. I believe that letter was instrumental in me finally getting into a place to live.

I became a client of Freedom Debt Relief (FDR) a couple of years ago, in an effort
to manage credit card debt incurred as a result of job loss during the Covid Pandemic.
Their representative was very helpful in explaining to me the process and work which FDR provides, how the process works. Communications with FDR during this journey have been very good, very prompt. I have been very happy with their efforts and success in handling my debt. I recommend them !

I was scared to death when I first started with FDR because I was reluctant to give control over my payments with an unknown entity but fast forward to now. It was the best decision I ever made. It’s freedom from burden, freedom from stress and freedom from ridiculously high credit card interest rates. They have negotiated two settlements and are working on the third. It gives me peace of mind and that is a rarity this day and age! Their Customer Service is fantastic and always there for you! You won’t regret your decision.

New to program. 1st credit debt has been cancelled at 50% cost of balance. You have to be ready to hurt your credit but it will be worth it. FDR has multiple options depending type of debt including legal resources. Regular communications and simple dashboard. My program is basically taking a lower total monthly payment, putting it in a dedicated account, FDR negotiates terms, and then debt gets paid from the account. Except for the negotiations, you can do this on your own but FDR's help is so much more worth it.

Easy to navigate website. Customer service personnel are very helpful. I haven't been working with them long yet -- 4 months or so. It's hard, as credit companies are calling many times a day for payments. It's hard to ignore, and goes against my instinct to make a payment. I'm following advice and not responding, so that it is easier to reach a settlement with them. I'm looking forward to the future of having these debts paid off.

During the consultation, the employee explain everything to me and made sure I understood while asking if I had any questions. Then during the past few months I was able to see where everything was going with my debt. In which 2 of my creditors already finalize the negotiations with Freedom Debt Relief making the process quicker to pay off my debt.

Answer all my questions no sugar coating. Responsive confident and knowledgeable. This is very hard thing to do and go through but soo worth it. After fully understanding how credit cards actually work and now up to 30% and higher no shame I'm actually angry at myself and them for well all of it. I like experiencing how quickly debt relief settlements begin to happen. I have been involved with this process less than three months and already huge benefits are realized.
What I don't like is the fear of not knowing how my bank debts will be handled so as to not effect my banking relationships. I stopped using my credit cards over a year ago and it has been such a struggle to make headway, getting rid of my debt.
Until I decided to get involved with FDR I feared that I would never be able to retire - work until I drop dead and pass all my burden on to my family.

I'm not far into this but FDR has already saved me $5,777 from negotiations with a couple of creditors. Still a ways to go, but much shorter than paying these down myself. I'd be dead and buried by that time and my family would have to deal with it while settling what little estate I have. Thank you, FDR, for giving me peace of mind! Well I feel the fees are kind of high but it’s cool cause they are getting my debts paid off. I feel some of the payments plans are too long . This is my first time using a company like this to help with my debts and I don’t know the ends and outs of the process but at least the fees or one time payment and also I didn’t know about the monthly service fee either. Honestly, I've been so at a loss as to what to do about my debt. My income dropped significantly and with prices the way they are with inflation, I literally could not keep up. Thanks to Freedom Debt Relief, I'm feeling... relieved! So far, just 2 months in, they've negotiated a big loan that I could just not afford any longer monthly and was beginning to feel so much loss as to getting over the hump of being able to afford it as the interest rates were wildly high. The process has started off slow, but I'm hoping some settlements will pick up soon. Also, it is NOT fee free! FDR takes at least $9.99/month out of your dedicated account as fees so what you deposit is not exactly what you have in your account! My credit score dropped significantly, which I was expecting, but the constant calls from my creditors continue on a daily basis. They say they are not in negotiations with FDR and have not received anything from them stating I have contracted with them so I think this process could be better on FDR's part. I'm really hoping for a good outcome and my debt is relieved as soon as possible.

I always thought these debt consolidation companies were scamers, and most are scamers. But not Freedom debt relief. Truly amazing. I have been in the program for almost 3 months and Freedom debt relief has settled three credit card accounts for under half of the totals . They have lawyer's ready available, customer service that can be contacted. I was paying almost $800 a month in credit card payments. Now I pay $300 a month, saving $500 every month. Now I'm able to double up my payments and pay off my debts faster.

I remember the day they called me back and said my name and asked if they could help me! I believe that was 2018. After talking for awhile and sharing what my problems were and receiving information about what to do, I began to feel the relief sliding across my shoulders. It was a considerable amount- nearly $30,000! And I was glad to have someone do this for me and began to feel better about the whole idea!

I had my doubts about Freedom Debt Relief at first and even into my first 4 payments, then after two months after the program they helped me settle one of my largest debts which worried me the most and it was a relief and I became more confident in the program. Now I can trust by making extra deposits knowing that is up to me to get myself out of debt while they guide me all the way. My only doubt is if I will be able to recover my credit which has dropped around 160 points since I started the program 2 months ago but time will tell.

Honestly I’ve been on it for a couple of months and I’ve already got my first settlement, the first couple months I can get impatient especially when u see ur credit score go down so much, but patience is key because now that I see the hall rolling and there making progress as I continue to pay every month it lifts the burden of debt, I am so excited to see the credit score go up obit remember patience, there working on it and will make it happen, thanks freedom debt relief 🥲

...this is all new to me, and I'm old, it's scary when you have to decide between prescriptions or food! I do call FDR and they assure me things will get better. I try to call once a week just to ease my fears.

This company is understandable if for some reason a payment arrangement is not made. They are very helpful and understanding! If I had to choose a debt relief company again I would choose Freedom Debt Relief again. I would like to say thank you. This is the first time I have ever had to use a company like this, and because of the economy I was struggling and had no idea what to do, I seen an add ,I contacted them and they walked me through the prosses, were very helpful I have been with them for 4 months now ,so far one creditor has been wiped out ,so far I am very pleased with the results!

A great way to become debt free with all your debts being wrapped into one installment payment that’s auto paid from your account. . Many of the debts can be reduced saving a great deal of time and money in repaying your debt. One con is to insure the debts are still impacting your credit. Old debts that are past their statute of limitations should be left off depending on state and federal laws. I had an old $12K debt from 2006 and found I was paying on it for over three years…biweekly. I was laid off and nearly homeless at the time.
The bank charged it off. It was a long expensive process since the other more urgent debts were left unpaid until this ancient debt was paid. I’ve been paying for years and wondered why I wasn’t paying anything off. I got the debt dropped but not befor paying half of it off.
The other con is the money saved will be sent to you as a 1099-C for taxable income.
For me, it was for dropped debt from 2006, and I paid taxes for it in 2023!
Costs reduced my refund $100 but it’s done.
I would recommend the service to anyone with a stable income.
Just be sure to review that the debts are not old and that the urgent ones are handled first. Like those that are going end with a lawsuit or impact credit.
Don’t let the counselor pick for you which is usually the largest debt.
The company makes their money through fees from your installment payments.
I graduated and debt free and I have Freedom Debt relief to thank.
