I am an active participant of the freedom Debt Relief Program and I am very impressed with the way they are handling my debt. At first it was no way to solve my problems because even the bank I was working with was trying to help me because I was working with another company instead of theirs. I decided not to be defeated and continue to work with Freedom Debt Relief. The program is very helpful and considerate in the problem you may encounter along the way. They have solutions that you can try to help the situation. The banks tell you one thing and do something else. If I were you and you find yourself in a situation like my or worse , I would give Freedom Debt Relief a chance it is working for me. Thank you so much for all your help Freedom Debt Relief.

I am still relatively new to the experience, having just started in the middle of January, 2024. However, I wanted to provide this review because in just a brief month and a half I have already received my first settlement and I am on the way to even more progress!
I will admit, the first few months are still a bit unnerving since I continue to receive collection calls and certified mail stating that my account has gone to collections. This has been the most challenging part of the program, especially for someone who has never been late on a payment before - until several life circumstances in rapid succession threw a wrench into the works and everything started to fall apart.
Reaching out to Freedom Debt Relief happened after I had exhausted every other option, thinking I could figure it out on my own, which only led me into more financial distress. After making the first call I realized I was in the right place! Everyone I spoke with handled my situation in such a caring and supportive way, with absolutely NO judgement. I put my financial burden into their hands, and began making the pre-determined payments into my account. I kept in contact with them every time I received a notice or if my debt was turned over to collections, and they took it from there! They are phenomenal to work with and very reassuring. I was very nervous at first but when that first settlement occurred, I knew I was going to be able to see my way out of this mess. I still have a road ahead of me, but now, knowing that this program WORKS, I am able to navigate it with much less stress and anxiety! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Freedom Debt Relief! My only regret is that I didn’t do this sooner!

I joined Freedom Debt Relief about four months ago because I needed to consolidate my growing debt. I found them on the Forbes top five organizations for consolidation debt, and I called all of them. Out of all five, I chose Freedom Debt Relief because they were upfront, called me back immediately, were willing to work with my unique circumstances, and got me enrolled almost immediately. Furthermore, I've had to do very little work. I simply stopped auto-payment on some of my debt and haven't answered any of my debt collectors. Why? Freedom will explain all of that to you. Last, whenever I have needed advice on anything, they email me back almost immediately with easy, laymen's language, and I couldn't be happier. I have complete trust in this company, and I can't wait until all my debt is paid off. Patience is worth it, and I was still able to hold on to a couple of small accounts to manage on my own. Freedom means...well...freedom. Freedom gives you all the power and decisions related to your account. I highly suggest you choose them.

What i disliked is that there are times when there seems to be a lack of communication within certain departments, i.e. customer service and the negotiation departments, as well as the fact that when you upload documents and you call to advise the team that you have uploaded documents that are urgent, it doesnt get addressed or should i say, acknowledged. I have to call to advise representatives that i had uploaded documents and i have not heard from anyone, can someone address this matter urgently. My loans were being negotiated at one point, rapidly and creditors were sending me letters to counteract the negotiations.
there is also the ledger/accounting procedure. this need to be much clearer for clients to understand properly, because my monthly deposits are automatically withdrawn and there will be times when i see "loans" are being deposited, and there were at least one or 2 occasions with a creditor where negotiations fell through yet i was charged fees and when it went through again for the same amount of money, i was charged fees again. I had to be consistent in calling and following up and had to be checking almost daily to ensure that things were going or moving after i authorized payments.
There are other discrepancies like customer service, one or 2 members got rude and hung up on me and almost tried to "reprimand" me when i was explaining my situation.

Coming to the decision to take this avenue to fix my financial problems was scary but from the first consultation to now it has been the best decision for me. Letting my credit score drop and stopping my payments was the hardest but within months my first resolution began and new credit offers began coming my way.
I didn’t jump on them as I knew I had to resolve my situation and learn better budgeting. Having a 1 lump payment to FDR allowed me to make a doable budget. Now I’m almost done and I can breathe! So easy. Each month my payment is automatically deducted. Their website allows me to see my progress and settlementsb documents upload easily and their chat customer service is fast. If you find yourself in the need to deal with your debt. Freedom Debt Relief has worked great for me

Freedom Debt Relief program has literally changed my life. I had worked hard to raise my credit score from mid 400’s to mid 600’s, but at the same time I was buried in credit card debt. I would say close to 80% or more of my fixed income went to the minimum payments on those cards. I would never be able to get out from under that debt. I talked to at least three other companies that offer the same type of program. All of them had a similar program but with much higher cost or payment on my end for a longer period of time. However, the deciding factor was how they made me feel. FDR treated me with respect and dignity and didn’t seem to mind my questions and I had a lot. I felt my concerns and questions had value whereas the others me feel “stupid “ for not jumping on their bandwagon. I have been with FDR for 5? months and made first settlement already. They are still the best option and I am glad I went with them. I love how I am able to go online and track progress, upload any and all necessary documents, email and get prompt responses. Yes, l am getting calls from creditors, my score has taken a nosedive but FDR offers “online courses “ to guide you through this process and it has helped me immensely. FDR has a great support network
whether it’s a good read online or a phone call to one of the knowledgeable associates. I would highly recommend Freedom Debt Relief to anyone!

I like the fact that I am updated about the progress of each step of the negotiations. FDR lets me know how far along my next negotiation is in progress and what to expect. I let them know of any communication I receive from the debtors. FDR has really saved me money, bc it felt like I was just spinning my wheels and not going anywhere. I was in good standing with all of my credit cards, but I wasn't paying them down bc of high interest rate and only able to make minimal payments. I am so glad FDR is helping me pay these off and don't know where I'd be right now without them. I am so thankful and appreciate everything they are doing to help me.

Even tho making the decision to choose embarking on a debt consolidation was Not easy, Freedom debt relief has made this choice possible and not horrible. I still am a bit inundated with messages/calls from the lovely people I owe money to, it really helps to know things are being handled and negotiations are ongoing for a brighter future. I’m very grateful to Freedom for all their updates and for being able to see any progress on the dashboard. Okay, so obviously my credit score isn’t pretty right now, at least I know that Will improve again. I’m very Grateful to Andrew P. help setting this up and for helping my “life improvement”. Freedom Debt Relief was a wonderful company to work with. From the first call they were professional and explained everything to me and explained the different ways we could go. The portal they have is easy to use, keeps you informed of the progression and where they are in each step. I received many emails from them to keep me informed. When I reached a certain stage they talked to me about a consultation loan that was a fabulous deal. My debt was cause by my Cancer treatments, medical care and prescriptions. I was afraid I would never get out of that but FDR helped me get to that point, my credit rating is going up at a great rate and I’m no longer worrying daily how to pay my bills! The process is very intimidating and stressful, but everyone I spoke to has been realistic yet reassuring. Essential information was provided by email, in my dashboard, and by text, making it easy and much less stressful to stay on top of my key tasks and to be informed how to handle expected situations. Freedom completed my first negotiation in less than two months and I am eager to have the remainder of them resolved soon. If I had tried to continue handling my financial situation on my own I would be suffering the same damage to my credit without any meaningful relief to my overall burden. With Freedom I am working toward a controlled descent back to financial solid ground rather than a nosedive.

I have been thoroughly impressed with the service provided to me in resolving my debt problems. I was initially apprehensive about using this service, however the results that I'm seeing are astounding. In a matter of less than one year my creditors are getting paid off. It would have taken me more than 5 years to do what FDR has done for me in under a year.
Also, customer service is great. There is never a time in which I cannot get in touch with anyone who can help ease my nerves and answer all my questions.
Their dashboard, which allows me to follow along with my progress is always up to date and is one of the best tools to use when tracking your progress.

I am enjoying the fact that I can focus on my health issues as well as other difficulties I am currently having instead of dreading to wake up each morning just to " pull my hair out" . I feel as if I am in good hands with FDR and this was certainly a valuable decision for me to make. I appreciate all efforts set forth and all will be a ok eventually. I pride myself on doing the right thing , at this point in time it was getting beyond my ability to grasp the severity of my hardship situations. I am doing the right thing. God bless the creditors understanding , most of them anyway. Thanks FDR for doing the work on my behalf , I was headed down a road of horror , financially , emotionally and physically. Just entering into the agreement gives you a sense of relief and the weight off your shoulders. I feel that I am too new to give a complete rating but so far everything is as you said it would be. I have contacted customer service just twice and the help I received was complete. Just as an example, the way you contact and get an agreement with each debt looks like the last creditor is waiting almost four years to get a call from you and a settlement. Also, I am getting calls, emails, text messages from several debt relief companies just since I signed up with yours. Do you post something somewhere that let's them know you are involved with my situation?

I have been apart of Freedom Debt Relief since June of 2019 and will be graduating the program this month, February 28th 2023. It's been a long 3 and a half years. I have written positive reviews about this company in the past, but, this will be my last. Yes, this program has its negative effects like impacting your credit, but their amazing team is upfront about that. Here is the positive though, it's not permanent. My credit has now finally increased since I'm near graduating and my settlements are done and paid off and it is only going to increase more in the coming months once everything officially settles. I wish that I could say that I had a smooth journey, but it was rough. I, not having enough money at times for the deposits, having a little left over to try to make extra deposits so that they can negotiate your settlements faster, the covid 19 pandemic that left me dry and struggled to make my deposits which caused them to have to renegotiate a few of my settlements that I ended up losing. A specific creditor trying to come after me in which Freedom Debt Relief stepped in and had thier legal team get involved to protect me and then the creditor backed off. Hey, that is just a snippet of what I went through. However, Freedom Debt Relief was with me every step of the way and worked with me through it all and they WILL work with you too. Just remember to make sure you help them help you. They only can do so much, remember, its still on you. Look at my review if any of you need motivation. I am living proof that you all can complete this program like I will complete it on the 28th of this month. 3 and a half years, it may take longer, or shorter for some. Everyones journey is different. However, stay the course like I did and you'll be fine. Thanks Freedom Debt Relief. Our relationship is now coming to an end, but I will never forget this humbling experience and journey.

I can't say one bad thing about Freedom Debt Relief!
They really treat you like family, I have been with them for 3 years and my debt is finally complete and I couldn't have done it without them! There is a lot of times when I wanted to give up, but then I would call Freedom and they would remind me on why I'm doing all of this. I have spoken to a lot of Freedom Debt Relief employees throughout the 3 years, and I never had one bad experience. From the beginning to the end they make sure that you understand everything and they explain everything in detail. They make an already uncomfortable situation comfortable somehow and you feel right at home. This might sound weird but I'm kind of sad that they won't be a part of my life anymore. But I will always be thankful for them! Even after you graduate and complete your debt they are still there for you. If you're wondering if you should do this experience, don't wonder just do it! Freedom Debt Relief is THE way to end the debit mess you got yourself into....you pay in, and when you have invested enough, they negotiate for you, and do help you settle, and end those interest fees you keep throwing money away on.... It comes down to a matter of trusr, and that was hard for me... Creditors continue to call FDR teaches you how to respond without futher involement... and as they coach you, you get those debts settled... They are honest, and are totally and easily available.... you do not have to go through endless prompts... humans are there ! I am so relieved ! They guide you, and explain what is taking place with your account on a regular basis... I will soon be debt free ! You can imagine that feeling, and FDR can get that feeling for you ! FDR was the only company at the time that would take on our debt level of $84,000. They made the process simple enough for us to commit to beginning the debt relief process.
I wish there would have been a better illustration to the fee structure being consistent as opposed to 30-50% range and a thorough explanation of exactly how to calculate the 1099 tax that is incurred and the adjustment you should take out of your paycheck to help cover taxes.. That would have made for slightly different decisions in settlement dates in order to not be hit with such a large tax bill at the end of the year.
With that being said, it really was the first tool we had to completely understanding budgeting and financial planning. If the credit card companies would have worked with us in the same way, we wouldn't have needed FDR. FDR became the buffer we needed to get on track!

I am fortunate that I found a company that would take my situation of extreme debt and provide me with a path to recovery. At age 75, with 9 creditors with $60M+ in debt Freedom Debt Relief offered a plan that if followed rigorously would eliminate my debt.. and also by the way that would save me $'s. The plan was over a period of 4.5 years to achieve the goals. The details of how FDR interacts with creditors is effective and productive. Communications between FDR during the execution of the plan with me was exceptional. Updates are available and easy to understand and multiple telephone contacts are listed to get questions answered.

Freedom Debt Relief helped me when I got in over my head with debt. I was skeptical at first and even worried when my credit score suffered but honestly it couldn’t have gotten much worse than it was already, I was just looking for excuses. However, I stuck with the program and finished ahead of schedule and learned a lot about credit, emergency funds, and how to stay out of debt along the way. If your struggling with more debt than money at the end of the month give them a call, it doesn’t cost anything to have them take a look and who knows maybe they can help you like they helped me.

After a couple years of only being able to make minimum payments, I was finally ready (more like desperate) to consolidate. At the time I had thousands of dollars worth of debt from divorce and struggling as a single mom with my own business. FDR made the set up super easy. I felt a weight being lifted with my first payment and have never looked back. After 4 years I am completely debt free. I finished my program a few months early because the payment set up allowed me to make extra deposits when I was able. My business is thriving, I am able to do more with my kids, my mental health is so much better with all of this resolved. I wrote a review before but somehow when it came to the prompt about Best Company I made an error and possibly deleted the app. As far as Freedom Debt Relef is concered the are the best- Freedom Debit Relief is a RELIEF TO ME!! I have no regrets whatsoever- I could go on and on how professional they are and how much they keep me posted on my settlements and etc.The day that I was accepted I was overwhelmed with Joy- I am 86/24/7 care- in-mobile I did not have any money left out of my SS chedk-shame on me- YES! This experience truly transformed my perception of myself and my capabilities for taking care of myself. It took several years to graduate the program but I am astounded by how easy it was in terms of my role – I truly felt taken care of. Their representatives are deeply empathetic and kind and patient and worked with me every step of the way. To say I recommend it is a complete understatement. I know high praise reviews like this can seem suspect but truly being in such a destitute circumstance and having it resolved in this way has been life altering. My credit union recommended FDR so I felt like I can trust the company and their methods and I couldn't have been more right. I know I will have years of repair work regarding my credit but I know I'm on even footing now and can begin the process without the burden of immense debt.

The best part of my experience with Freedom Debt Relief was everything. I had tried several other companies but something about the way the person spoke to me made me reject the first company. They seemed to be looking down thier nose at me. Like he thought he was better than me. When I told him I did not want to go with his company, his voice changed and he said," Good luck paying down all those debts!" The representative of the next company was very nice and reassuring until they got my first payment. When I tried to call to talk about my program, I could never get them on the phone. There was a thirty day refund feature, so I eded my association with them about 10 days on their program. Then Freedom Debt Relief reached out to me and I don't know why but, I felt that this company was where I would get the help I needed. I prayed and went for it. My debt was growing by the minute. Then I received the first settlement a lot sooner than I imagined. I have chatted on occasion and the person I talked to was super nice and oh so helpful. Now that I am close to the end of my journey with Freedom Debt Relief, all I feel is grateful for all the help you have provided to help mr reach my financial goals. My husband and I applied for a home equity loan we signed all the paperwork and at the last minute they said the underwriter Chablis mind as I had two many credit cards, which they new. So I seen an ad for Freedom Debt Relief and they worked with me until we found a solution to get me out of my credit card debt. It’s less than what I was paying on my credit cards each month only paying the minimum payments which by the way went up due to the interest rates going up. So we came up with a plan that I could live with and also to be debt free in a short period of time instead of being buried in credit card debt that I would never be able to pay off all the credit cards. It took me a long time to build my credit up and then I made the mistake of getting any credit card. I was always told by my father to never get a credit card if you can’t pay for it in cash then you don’t need it. Well I didn’t get my first credit card until I was in my late 40’s. When I contacted FDR, I was afraid and uncertainly if seeking debt relief was the right thing to do. For years I kept thinking I could catch up on my debts, but interest rates were high and I could not pay down my credit cards. When I did call FDR, the representative was friendly and help me through every step. FDR accepted my case, outlined a payment program and that was it! Each month I received phone calls and emails keeping me update on the progress of my payments. One credit to my success was I never missed a payment, and actually doubled up deposits. As of Sept 2022, I have successful completed the FDR program and it feels so GOOD. I am final FREE of that debt.

If you're sitting under a mountain of debt, and you're considering this consolidation program, I'd highly recommend this option. Think about where you'll be in 3-4 years. I was nervous, but I knew that I was up against enormous debt and month after month, I wasn't getting anywhere, even though I was paying my monthly payments. During the repayment period, I lived within my means, and didn't take on additional debt. There is no doubt that this program impacts your credit, however, now that I've payed off the debt, I am confident that I can make better financial choices in my future. Throughout the process, the payments were automatically deducted from my bank account. Overall I'd say do your own research, understand the implications of this program, and take the step to financial liberation. The choice is yours.

So like so many americans I had credit card debt . I thought about filing for bankruptcy but ran across FDR. They have very intelligent advisors and explained every thing perfectly. I wanted to solve my debt in 3 years and they drew a plan to achieve that. They cut my debt in half and I will be debt free in 3 years. They explained their costs and even adding their fees I saved over 30 percent. They are experts at what they do and they do it well. I ended up paying less than what I was paying for minimum payments on the credit cards. When they negotiate a deal your interest stops. Something to keep in mind you credit rating goes into the dump. It is important that you reestablish your credit as soon as possible. It took 2 years but my credit is back over 700. I strongly recommend if you get yourself into a debt you can not dig yourself out of give FDR a try. It worked for me.

FDR is a great alternative if you find yourself in a situation that you are unsure of how to get out of. Prior to, and over the pandemic, my family found ourselves in a situation I could not find a path out of. Freedom Debt Relief both found and created the alternative path we needed. It is not for everyone. It has definitely created a sense of commitment and pressure that I unfortunately needed. The staff is wonderful and nearly all successfully balance the role of both financial and emotional counselors in a time that is difficult and stressful for all. External circumstances, combined with my own personal choices, put me in a situation that seemed untenable. I could not be more appreciative and grateful to FDR for the help and guidance they have provided. I am about 1/2 of the way through but feel I have rounded the corner. Stress-wise, this has been one of the most painful I have experienced in 40+ year history. I now find a light as the end of the tunnel and would not be here without Freedom Debt Relief.

FDR was moving considerably fast with the settlements with each creditor. I' hope to continue making settlements and reach a early graduation. I am presently working a partime

I wrote an original review a month ago stating how I was pleased with FDR up until my Discover account went through litigation and things felt like they were falling through the cracks on FDR’s end and their law team. As soon as I wrote the review, an agent higher up with FDR contacted me and I was able to express my issues and concerns. After this conversation, communication on this account felt like it was getting much better and I ended up getting a settlement. I do still feel like to get things done you have to do your own part and really stay on top of things to make sure it runs smoothly. I was pleased to see that my effort did matter to them and they wanted to clear up all issues.

There is no such thing as a perfect way out of debt, but FDR helped me make the best out of a stressful situation. They were very transparent about what the monthly cost would be, how it would impact my credit score, the requirements to stay in the program, and the amount of time it might take to get everything settled. They helped me manage my expectations about creditor calls and how to keep on keepin' on when it got hard.
I was able to put some of my Covid relief money toward my dedicated account, which sped up my settlements, and I recenetly qualified for a loan through Freedom's partner company so I could settle my very last account and start rebuilding my credit with regular payments on the personal loan in the same amount as the payments to my dedicated account.
I saved some money through the settlements (even with the fees from FDR), but the most important thing for me was that they helped me create a strategy to get off the never-ending treadmill of minimum monthly payments and out of consumer debt quickly. 13 months ago, I was suicidal because I was drowning in debt, and I didn't have a plan. Now, I have hope for a future of financial security and freedom. My credit score has seen better days, but I know that it will recover in time!

This company has helped me breathe again!! you say breathe again, what does that have to with Debt Relief? Well my finances were in such bad shape that I held my breathe every week to see if I had enough money to pay bills or buy food. When I first contacted FDR, I was really worried that they could not help me and that the plan they wanted me to agree to, would not work. I was really scared. I almost backed out of the agreement. I am so glad I decided not to. I have been in the program long enough that I have accepted a settlement agreement with many creditors and only have one left to settle. I made my payments every month and FDR followed through on the rest. I even found a way to pay extra a couple of times, which also speed up the process.
Thanks to FDR, I am on my way to getting myself back where I needed to be financially. We all make mistakes at times. I know I did, by letting my credit card debt get out of hand. The responsible thing for me to do was to realize I needed to address this problem, learn more about money management, and move forward.
I also love their website! There are so many tools and so much valuable information on the website. I can also see what statis all of my accounts are in, what payments are being made, and the balance of my dedicated account.
The honesty and dedication of FDR are amazing. Working through their program has been one of the best decisions I have made!

For now I'm going to give 5 stars. I may update this later. I love how nice, understanding, and amazing everyone at freedom is in customer service. I've talked to multiple people, and everyone has been great. So far I've settled two of my cards , which I'm do excited about. On what to improve is perhaps negotiating debt? I'd like to talk to someone who does the negotiating. I'm reading, and learning a lot on how all of this is done. I recently rejected my third offer because previously my own credit company offered me a much lower settlement. I'm praying freedom can negotiate a better settlement. Things have been hard financially before covid, more so since then, and now with job changes, etc. I just want to be debt free soon with the best deal possible. I enrolled in sept 2020.
I had 20,400 dollars in debt.
One thing you need to know is that when you stop paying your credit cards you accrue more debt. They resolve it based on the accrued debt. The percent in the amount they settled is based on the new accrued debt due to not paying your credit cards.
Biggest thing is to put as much as possible to the debt monthly.
I was a client who paid my bills on time but was not making headway. It was difficult not paying my bills. Put that money to paying down that debt.
Trust them, relax and enjoy not being stressed.
Your credit score will plummet. Make sure you don’t have to move anytime soon.

Retirement is supposed to be a nice time in one's life, even if one isn't able to spend extravagantly or travel. However, my retirement turned into some kind of nightmare due to 2 years of fraudulent assault on my bank, credit cards, and taking out new loans.
I was fighting a never ending cycle in which some companies would not accept fraud mediations. I was overpaying on my 2 credit cards but interest rates kept balances high. I had a spinal cord injury leaving me disabled and with many medical expenses.
It was obvious my pension and SS were no longer able to deal with it all.
I needed to take action and stop being a victim.
I saw an ad for Freedom Debt and placed an inquiry. No sooner had I completed that form, Chris called from the company ! We spent the rest of the afternoon discussing the program and getting setup. Chris made it so easy to talk about the embarrassing subject of debt. Never have I experienced such an "enjoyable" time on a dreaded topic. Chris was realistic but also helped me feel hopeful that with effort, things could improve. My followup call with Kelly was also a very personable and encouraging one. When I found FDR I had a lot of debt that was choking me and I was sinking quickly. Then I came across FDR through a google search. I made the call and was presented with a plan unlike any others before. Monthly payments go into the account that they set up for you. As the money starts accumulating FDR is negotiating with the creditors on my behalf. My monthly payment is the same now as when I started and to date FDR has settled 5 of my accounts for a fraction of what was owed. With all of them showing fully satisfied on my credit report. I would strongly recommend that anyone in a situation where your debt is out of control and can not be managed any longer. Give FDR a call, they are not high pressure salespeople but counsellors who will work with you to achieve your goals.

I thought I would have to file for bankruptcy, but as we went over every account, Michelle helped me to see getting through this without filing bankruptcy was possible. It is a process, it does get a little intimidating in the beginning as collectors begin calling. But she even helped me through that. And FDR legally covers you as they deal with the collection harassment. I’m recommending them to my son and some of my friends. I’m so glad I chose to go with Freedom.

We have been paying off credit card debt for some time, it seemed as though we could never get ahead. Once one card would be paid, some major life event would happen and we would rely on a credit card to resolve the immediate problem, then before you know it, things got away from us, and we were in a "sinking ship of debt".
