Your creditors will continue to add these fees as part of your original agreement with them, but once your accounts are in a secured settlements, the fees and interest will stop. I feel as though I was extremely misled on this whole process. I was falsely told my credit score would go down only 6-7 points. It’s gone down 100’s of points. I was told they would reach out to my creditors. I’m harassed daily phone call after phone call and no one is helping me.
