I would keep away from them if I was you. They told me I was done paying, even stopped making withdraws from me for 3 months. Then, out of the blue start making withdraws again?? What kind of an outfit does that?? All they can say is "sorry" that person isn't here anymore. they have got to be the most apologetic place around. Do yourself a favorite and go with someplace else. I doubt if you will have surprises like this....

For anyone joining FDR's program be advised that not all Creditor's will work with Freedom Debt Relief to resolve your debt. When this happens, the Creditor has the option to pursue court ordered garnishment. This happened to me. I was told by FDR to fax the summons to the advanced legal team and assumed it would be handled. It wasn't...I also feel FDR needs to be more upfront in communicating where clients are at in the debt settlement process, ie: how many payments are left before a Creditor is paid off. I was in the program 13 months before leaving and don't feel they helped my situation.

Do not be fooled by this company. They take your money and pay themselves but do not pay your creditors as they say they will. They lied to me about my accounts and I was involved with one of them in a lawsuit that could result in a judgment against me. People should know that if they are in trouble with a creditor, they can contact them without using a company who charges 21% of the original debt. Companies will work with you, and you can negotiate your own settlements. Horrible company.

We were told a pack of lies. Freedom did not even begin trying to negotiate until all the accounts were sold to 3rd party collections. We told them that we do not deal with 3rd party collections and by law we do not have to. Now we will have to wait out the 4 year statute of limitations unless we can renegotiate with the original creditor. As a result our credit rating is in the toilet. Not only will we not recommend Freedom Financial, we are actively denouncing them on social media and to our friends and business acquaintances. Freedom is a rip off company.

They resolve debts in lump sums with companies which helps us have low settlement offers, however the settlement fee can add up quickly, so be prepared to watch your first deposits go towards those settlement fees.

The company sounded like a solution to my son's problems. He is in college and went overboard with his credit cards. Instead of Bankruptcy we looked for an alternative. They dont offer a loan but negotiate for you to lower your balances. You pay them for this service. You can do the same thing for free! Make sure you understand how a debt relief companies work.
