Program is very effective works on any credit card but not good at all when dealing with American Express. American Express takes too long, building a much higher balance, resulting in a much bigger negotiation for almost no debt reduction. Besides that, the program works very good.

There have been times when I needed to skip a designated payment because of other financial needs. I find it annoying that the CS reps are very quick and programmed to tell you to not do this when I’m am speaking to them. This is my money and I should not have this happen when I need to make an adjustment in making my monthly payments.

I like your ability to negotiate and settle my debt with time to pay in most instances. What I don’t like is the lack of transparency around charge offs and the tax implications it means to debtors that erodes perceived savings. Also, I wish that FDR would agree to fees coming out over time to just as you negotiate with our creditors.

They have been responsive for any questions I have when I reach out. The only issue I have experienced is that the settlements have take longer then expected to come to fruition. Currently I just got my last one, and it almost a year and a half in the making. Overall I would use them again if I had too, but it is a committment none the less.

I wish FDR would do a better job of informing potential customers how bad their credit scores would become snd how high the fees are. When I enrolled, I had never missed a payment, ever. To date, I have lost 130 pts that will take a very long time to recover. The employees are nice and somewhat helpful. I am almost debt free, but it was a high price to pay.

FDR has been good to work with. Setting up our account initially and enrolling our debt was a simple task. Has been a long process but our debt is being reduced and our monthly payments are a small fraction of our monthly credit card payments. Would recommend!

I dislike that I am being charged a settlement fee of over $5,000. That's in addition to the interest rate of my new loan and the regular monthly program fees. I expected some fees, but not that. It really took the excitement out of the $9,000 that was saved by going through this program. Everything else has been wonderful!

FDR has been a great help in working with me to reduce/eliminate my current debt. I have received information on how to prepare and maintain a realistic budget. We are still in the process of further reducing and paying off creditors. I am sure with FDR's help I will reach that goal.

I keep having trouble with the automated system trying to authorize contracts. So I always have to call in, and an agent puts the authorization through. This might need to be checked.
