They are very fast at settling the debts once I agreed to go with the consolidation program. Still not so sure as to the increase in payments of almost $200.00 per month starting in January due to the consolidation. Hope this can be done as things are tight with all the medical bills & things that are still not up for this type program. Freedom debit relief has taken care of my debit by allowing me to make payments to them while they deal with the creditors. Creditors still call me occasionally but once I tell them I am enrolled in a forgiveness program they take note. FDR has also helped me when I hit a rough patch making my scheduled deposits, I switched jobs and they switched my schedule around to help me accommodate my new pay schedule. They are very good at their job.

I think there could be some improvements with the company. It took a VERY long time for me to add an account. I was told I needed a statement, but many of my accounts were extremely late being charged off and I truly didn't know where some of my accounts were being handled. I had to write a letter access my own report and basically find out everything on my own. I also feel since the client is paying for the service, we should have full say on the settlement order. It is our money that is being used for the settlements. My Lowes account is in with a law firm and I must have asked five times for it to be handled first and shockingly my Wal Mart was settled first. I think the dashboard should give updates on the current status such as this one is being negotiated right now. I also strongly believe the creditors should be notified that I am in this program. Harassing and upsetting calls would be avoided if they were atleast aware. Why can't they be notified by FDR? Who wants a law suit, not me. I do think this program will eventually work, I just think some things can be improved.

I started this process in May of 2019 and by mid September they already made a settlement with one of my creditors. They arranged my monthly payment to be affordable for my budget & it ended up being half of my credit card monthly payments. I started working with FDR 4 months ago. At first I was confused as to why none of my creditor's were being paid off. I now realize that FDR needed to collect multiple monthly payments to have money available to negotiate a settlement and begin paying the creditor. One good point is that I am paying off my debt, However I signed a contract for a specific amount of time which has now past (August) and I am still paying. The dashboard says that it will be another 2 years.......I am beyond upset about this and there is nothing I can do about it, what makes it worst is that no one contacted me to explain it, I called at the beginning of August and was told that "Yes that was an estimate, sorry" they were really nice about it....Also, an several instances the fees were more than the amount written off. On many accounts it said that the amount written off was 80 plus percent while it was clearly untrue. I have done a less than positive review in the past and no one has contacted me, so what is the point?
