The Good

  • Member Online Portal
  • Several Program Options
  • Money-Back Guarantee

Financial Education Services offers several comprehensive programs to aid clients who are in need of financial services. Financial Education Services has many impressive service features, such as:

Member Online Portal

Financial Education Services has a focus on customer service and offers clients 24/7 access and control to their account online. The company will automatically update the online portal in order to keep members as up-to-date as possible.

Several Program Options

The business offers clients several programs and products included in their FES Protection Plan to improve members' personal finance situations.

These programs include a smart credit monitoring system, FES protection plan plus, FES travel benefits, secured credit card offer, an ultra score program, a rent reporting program, and a health and assets care plan.

All of these programs are built on helping clients obtain certain financial education and credit benefits, and enhance their financial portfolios. Regardless of which financial service or program clients choose, the company will follow a strict privacy policy in order to keep all client information secure.

Money-Back Guarantee

This financial service provider offers members a ten-day money-back guarantee for both the enrollment fee and the initial monthly fee.

Since some other companies in the industry do not provide a money-back guarantee policy, Financial Education Services' policy may be something to look into for potential clients.

The Bad

  • Lack of Credit Repair Services
  • No Licensed Attorneys on Staff
  • Lack of Website Information

Although Financial Education Services offers a money-back guarantee for their services, provides several services, and has an online client portal, they do have a few important drawbacks to note. These limitations include the following items:

Lack of Credit Repair Services

Although the company does offer several financial services including a smart credit program, they no longer offer a credit repair service. Those who are interested in this type of service must find and contact a direct credit repair company.

No Licensed Attorneys on Staff

At the present time, the company does not have licensed attorneys on staff helping with client financial improvement. They do have employees to help clients, but lack in comparison to the significant amount of companies that do have certified professionals on staff.

However, Financial Education Services is partnered with Michigan Consumer Credit Lawyers who are capable of handling erroneous reporting as well as debt harassment at consumers' requests.

Lack of Website Information

Although the Financial Education Services' website provides a good amount of financial information for both potential and current clients, it does not seem to disclose upfront specific payment information.

The company's services do vary in price and clients are expected to directly contact the business to find out the exact monthly fee and details of products, services, and programs along with enrollment prices and procedures.

The Bottom Line

Financial Education Services offers a variety of products, programs, and services. The company also has a member online portal, a money-back guarantee, as well as education services to help clients achieve their financial goals and improve their overall financial wellness.

However, the financial service company no longer offers credit repair services, may charge people upfront payments/setup fees, they do not have any officially licensed attorneys on staff, and they are lacking pricing and other important information on their website. These can all be major drawbacks for potential consumers and should be taken into consideration.

RUN! This is a scam company. They will take your money and you still have to do all the disputing and mailing yourself. They have robbed me out of 400 bucks. It is over 3 years and I still did not recover my money. Signed up for their services, they continue to deduct 85 a month from my account. They sent me information from my credit report, I could have retrieved online myself, mailed it to me and told me to mail to the 3 credit bureaus. I called to get a refund back, and they refused. I will have them in God's hands. I ended up fixing my credit on my own. I am single parent and need every penny I worked hard for. This is wrong when you scam the less fortunate! I was working with Mr. Orlando from the New York office. I spoke to him about getting back my refund and he completely ignored me. I will still like to get my refund back since I was never able to use your service. Thank you!

After giving much consideration I decided to give myself a try with FES. Paying $89/mo for something I could do on my own but not having enough time to invest to contact creditors I left it in FES’ hands. My personal experience was a NEGATIVE. Most of the information on my credit was easily repaired by me contacting the creditors. What got me into bad credit? Not having money saved!! After meeting with a TRUE financial planner I took my $89/mo and invested it plus adding whichever fees FES was charging me my AVAILABLE cash was easily over $2,000 in 12 months!!!! I’d rather have $2K available than to pay FES $1K for a monthly fee. I dealt only with 1 FES rep and I won’t release the reps name since I don’t have their permission. I understand this is their money making BUSINESS but I was not interested on becoming an AGENT to sell a service I don’t believe in. My rep from an actual financial services company met with me and actually helped me correct my financial mess. At the end of the day great credit is good but it DOES NOTHING for you if you don’t have LIQUID ASSETS. Good credit plus having liquid assets is the best way to go. Then again why use credit when you can pay for things cash.

Don't go there. Their agents not telling truth. I opened account and 6 months I didn't see any differences. They sent me letter to sign and looks not easy. Credit bureaus declined right away. Not professional at all. Please be careful and don't believe their sample customers. Plus when u decide to cancel u have to wait at least hour on the line and they keep transferring different agents!!!

So I mail the response in now my second responses are in still the same no change they deliberately stated that they could fight bankruptcy off even with proof that it has be dismissed liars! I paid 189 dollars for this garbage and 89 thereafter nothing but a ripoff! Very disappointed!

I am very disappointed in myself for signing up with this company to help me improve my credit. They are bad communicating what to expect and what the steps are. Once you give them your credit card information, you don't hear from them. I gave them $600 or $700 for them to do nothing for me. Also their customer service reps have an attitude over the phone. There's no "Let me see what I can do for you or what can I do for you" type of attitude.

This is another MLM. You can repair your credit yourself, you don't need to pay anyone to do it for you. I just sat through a Zoom webinar and they are not being upfront about what this company really does or its purpose for being in business.

Do NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! they were more concerned with sighing up as an agent so that they could attain their sales quota and even in that you’re left to figure it out your self. As a customer it was even worse. I’ve been calling for over a month to get a full refund as this is what the policy says and I keep getting the run around.

I worked with Luisa D. She literally was dumb as a bag of rocks. She could not answer any questions and consistently had to refer me to corporate or an attorney. Maybe there is someone else within the organization that is better suited?

FES is complete garbage. I have been on the program since July 2018. I was told that in order to see results you have to be in the program for a minimum of 6 months. Its been more than 6 months and my credit score has actually decreased. I will be cancelling this month. Let me save my $89 for something worth it.

This company is a scam. I was with them for 4 months and my score actually dropped instead of being raised. FES are a bunch of fast talking scammers. I tried talking to my agent and she would never respond to my messages. Once they get your mone. They act as if you don’t exist.

I wouldn't be surprised to see everyone involved on American Greed. They constantly re verbalize their statements to try and make some truth of their records. Absolutely, fraudulent. They say that your information is confidential and it's not. Then you when you cancel they tamper with your information, looks like they seeking a lawsuit.

akira ,

the employees are rude. SHAMEKA J. sent me an unsolicited business text (illegal) and when I told her to stop, she says "I am a grown woman with a phone and I can do what I want." I would never want their services.

FES forced me to pay for a charge that wasn't mine and then refused to give me a refund threatening to cancel me as an agent if I continued to ask for a refund. The services they offer are also easily done on your own.
