The Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy (UCCD), founded in 1967, is a non-partisan, non-profit organization committed to fostering citizen diplomacy and strengthening U.S. foreign relations. Through various resources, programs, and events, UCCD promotes respect and understanding between residents of Utah and other nations.
For over fifty years, UCCD has fostered and created opportunities for Utah residents to meet and interact with individuals from all over the world through its exchange programs. As the only official community-based member of the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), UCCD has welcomed more than 12,000 international visitors from over 200 countries to Utah.
