Tabitha’s Way Local Food Pantry was founded in Spanish Fork, Utah in 2010 by Wendy and Jody Osborne to provide food assistance to the food insecure. The organization has two locations in Utah: Spanish Fork and American Fork, servicing areas from Springville to Santaquin and from Lindon to Cedar Fort.
Tabitha’s Way is committed to creating “No Hunger Zones”, communities that take emotional and financial responsibility to resolve food insecurity for a minimum of three consecutive years. This approach allows the organization to widen its reach as Utah County continues to grow.
Since its founding in 2010, Tabitha’s Way has grown and expanded its reach, resulting in the opening of a second pantry location. Today the organization has a South Pantry location in Spanish Fork and a North Pantry location in American Fork.
Tabitha’s Way has two separate websites for its North and South pantry locations. While this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, it may be confusing when you are trying to learn more about a specific service location.
For those in need of food assistance, both of Tabitha’s Way’s pantry locations offer free temporary food assistance in specific geographic areas. If you don’t live in a specific area, Tabitha’s Way will also help you find local food assistance near you.
While Tabitha’s Way is primarily a food bank, accepting food donations. Additionally, both pantry locations accept monetary and clothing donations.
If you are able and willing to donate your time, Tabitha’s Way has opportunities at both pantry locations for volunteers to join in the work of providing food assistance to their communities. For specific information on volunteer opportunities at either pantry location, you can visit that specific service location’s website.
While researching this organization, we didn’t find any concerning information for donors, volunteers, or recipients. Tabitha's Way appears to be a reputable non-profit seeking to resolve food insecurity. Before becoming involved with any non-profit organization, we always recommend conducting personal research to see if the organization's mission aligns with your values.
