I am so greatly disappointed... this is not a quality product. It is clunky and cheaply made. The price point on this product is far too high because I have had nothing but problems. - There are deep scratches on the hood from shipping. - I never received the custom license plate even after reaching out multiple times. - Multiple mounting locations for parts are broken. - Multiple mounting locations are stripped so screws are not tight - Two out of the four brackets for the battery are broken. - The lights on the bully bar do not work and the bully bar will not seat into its mounting locations appropriately. - The rear drive motors were wired incorrectly causing the vehicle to not drive. I had to unplug and switch wires. - The FM radio does not work. - After less than 30 minutes of play on pavement the steering motor broke. Now I am unable to steer the vehicle using the remote and this is one of the main reasons that I purchased this product. This was a birthday gift for my son and at this point I am regretting my purchase. We are unable to use this expensive item now because my son cannot manually steer it on his own yet.

Oh, ya know...

While I can appreciate what Ryder is trying to do, they are junk for the price. Higher price does not == better. For starters their link in the follow up email to leave a review is non existent. The real problem though is how they engineered this things. With in 5 minutes my daughter buster her face on the steering wheel. When driving the car, and then taking your foot off the accelerator the vehicle wheels lock up as if one were slamming on the breaks, instead of the car easing to a stop the wheels lock up and she was thrown into the steering wheel busting her face. She is now terrified of the near $1000 purchase. I guess what they say is true, a declining empire produces crap masquerading as something grand.

I've went back and forth with customer service since day one. It came out of the box with reverse not working and three of four motors broke within the first week. Advertisement shows it going over tree stumps but these simply broke driving on the street in our cul-de-sac. I'd hate to see how fast it broke if you were to d anything they actually advertise. They constantly tell you parts are on the way and to look for a shipping number but that doesn't happen. I've dealt with this since Christmas and still don't have the reverse so the car isn't usable. I've tried to get my money back and send the car back multiple times and they won't do that either. Don't waste your money on this over priced buggy!

I bought two of the AWD buggy's on November 21st, 2023 for my boys Christmas presents. They maybe rode them 2 times during the winter months for very short periods. Once it got warm they were ready to ride them and absolutely loved them. As a side note, 2 years ago I bought my son a John Deere gator for $400 that has had zero issues. I wanted to purchase these buggy's though for a car that could drive through anything-like snow, etc. which the John Deere gator can't do and I thought they'd have these for YEARS to justify the price. Fast forward to May 2024, only 2 months of riding these and they both within 2 weeks of each other started making a horrible grinding noise when they come to a stop. After reaching out to the company and sending videos of the issue they informed me that my warranty was up in February and that the front left motor has to be replaced on both vehicles. Oh, and also these items are out of stock and won't be back in stock for 3 weeks, if that or it could be longer. For the amount of money I spent, $1577.00 to be exact, this is unacceptable!! That should be covered and why is this happening after 2 months of use?! I'd rather return the product if that's the case and spend my money elsewhere. So we have to spend even more money to fix the issue that came after only 2 months. I am sure this will not be the first and only issue that comes up. More money doesn't always mean better quality!!! After seeing all the horrible reviews for this company and their products I regret buying these so much and I hope others see all these reviews before making a purchase.

Like many others have said, the issue is quality. We loved the car for the 4 days that it worked then the steering stopped working. We have placed an order for a new control board and steering motor, but from reading others experiences it seems unlikely to change. This is an 800 dollar car, it’s completely ridiculous it would break from 8 hours of normal backyard use. What an absolute waste of money please do not engage in business with this company. The customer service is very bad, it will involve emailing a rep back and forth and them sending useless links to unrelated issues like making sure the battery is charged or taking off the steering wheel to see if something somehow got jammed in the steering motor.

Update 7/25/25 The customer service team actually took care of me and helped resolve my issues with the experience. I am happy to say that although my exoerience with the car doesnt changs, they did right by standing by their 100% satisfaction guarantee. Original post below: First impression is terrible. Bought the car weeks before my daughters 2nd birthday, after a week without a tracking number I call the support line and the rep tells me they don't have the pink color buggy in stock. Then they tell me their system does not allow them to change to another color and that I have to cancel the 1st order, and reorder the new buggy. So had to spend another $900. The shipping DOES NOT arrive within 3-4 days, their fulfillment center prepares the car to be shipped in that window. My order in total took 16 days. They did not send the free customized license plate, the axle was bent but luckily they use cheap metal so I was able to bend it back with a wrench. The instruction manual was not thorough and I also have 4 massive washers and have no idea where they go. First ride just made my daughter slam her nose bridge into the front windshield bar due the auto abrupt wheel lock brake system that THEY DO NOT WARN ABOUT ANYWHERE ON MANUAL OR WEBSITE. The build quality is bad and the "snap on" parts do not snap on so I will most likely have to drill them in with screws. Paying $900 im regretting this buy and the short 30-90 day warranty + terrible reviews are concerning. I will follow up with another review after a few months...stay tuned folks

We got the Pink XXL UTV in December 2023 for Christmas for our 5 year old daughter, who loves to go fast and listen to Disney music. I triple checked all the specs on different sites and chose this one because of the weight/speed specs and it says it has a Touchscreen WITH Bluetooth (it STILL says this today 2/25/24 on the tech specs page under Specifications for this model ..after they've told me they would make sure everything is accurate on their site)! We were (and are still) very disappointed when it arrived with a basic, boring early 2000s touchscreen with NO Bluetooth! I was "offered" a $100 gift card to use for another purchase, but still have never actually received any sort of gift card! Plus, why would I ever buy anything else from here?! It's an okay ride in H, but in L gear it barely moves regardless of charge amount (she's well within the weight and age range listed)! Considering these things, plus waiting 3 months for our 'free car cover' (which is supposedly on its way now, after being told it was on back order multiple times and finding it in stock on the replacements page), I wish I hadn't wasted my money here! I have 17 emails back and forth with them and it got me nowhere! Don't waste your money with Ryder, buy somewhere else, and avoid the headache and disappointment!

100% honest review after 6 months with a disappointed daughter. We purchased the $899 24V AWD Buggy for my 3 year olds birthday present in April of 2023. Within 4 months of being driven in normal conditions around the backyard, the steering stopped working. I contacted customer service and they said it could either be the steering motor ($30) or the control board ($30), neither part refundable and an additional $10 shipping. So, after waiting 3 months for the steering motor for that model to come in stock, we waited another month before receiving it… used, dirty, and broken. I contacted customer service and supplied pictures of the clearly used and broken part, to which they said a replacement would be mailed right away. It’s been another 3 weeks, and I keep getting told that “We’ll circle back to you when the fulfillment center lets us know it’s shipped.” For $899, my 3 year old should have a car to play on for more than 4 months without it breaking down. For $899 a part that’s purchased for an addition $45 after shipping shouldn’t take 4 months to get and then be used and broken. For $899 plus an additional $45 I shouldn’t have to wait another month just for them to say they’re waiting on fulfillment to replace the used and broken part they shipped. Honestly, and I’ve told them this myself, The company leaves me feeling like it’s a giant scam.

We have had 2 cars now and through the ownership experience I have had to BEG the company for support. One worked fined and one worked for only a few months, battery issue. We emailed the company email we had many times with ZERO response. After countless attempts over many months I finally get a email back saying I could buy a new battery but after proving it was defective they said out of courtesy they would send me a new one for free, acting like they would do me a favor. Fast froward to last month the car completely stopped working and I did every troubleshooting tip they have online and nothing works. I then called, spoke to a company representative and explained the situation. He said citing everything we have been through he would send a replacement car. The next day I get a email from the company saying they would not honor what their employee offered but would give me $150 off a new purchase which is a disrespectful offer. This company builds a subpar product and does not stand behind what their employees offer. They had every opportunity to make this right before I posted this but they have completely ignored my request. Buyer beware and buy from a reputable company.

Ryder Toys has tried to remove my review on trust pilot and now I'm even more disgruntled with them. Their customer service was very responsive but the actual business is terrible. We bought our son a dune buggy ($699) in August. The front axle broke from regular use within two weeks. I reached out to the company and it was covered under warranty... unfortunately the axle was not in stock for three months. They would not assist me finding the part wholesale, they would not refund the vehicle or give any money back unless I disassembled it and mailed it back to them (and also in doing that they make you sign a waiver saying if any pieces are missing they can hold you liable for thousands of dollars). Absolutely no help from them. Finally we got the part MONTHS later and now the vehicle is out of warranty, so if anything else is wrong with it we are just out of luck. Please spend your money elsewhere. We had a miserable two children on our hands and a sad bank account. It was ridiculous.

I ordered a Drift Cart for my kids for Christmas. On it's website, the weight capacity is listed at 150 lbs but when it arrived the spec sheet lists the weight capacity at 30kg (66 lbs). I've been trying to get a reply from the company for almost a week about sending it back and get either automated replies or messages saying "we're working on it". I wouldn't buy anything from Ryder Toys. UPDATE: They finally replied and I have written confirmation from the company saying a full refund, rather than the amount paid less an exorbitant return fee ($130). Despite that, they still issued a refund of $130 less than what I paid for it. They delivered a damaged product with specs that did not match those provided only, and they don't want to issue a full refund. This company is AWFUL!

Cautionary tale, 4 months, still no functioning toy. If things go well with this company right from the start, you may have a good product and no issues. If anything goes wrong at all, send it back immediately and go somewhere else. Our toy was delivered without a steering wheel or hubcaps. They should have had the part in the mail within a week, or a replacement sent out and a shipping label sent to us to return the defective product. Neither occured. Multiple calls and emails later, still no resolution. The reviews on their website do not reflect reality, they do not post any negative reviews, if you want reality, go to the BBB website.

I purchased the all-wheel-drive buggy For $800. When you let go the power, it comes to a dead halt, tossing your kids forward giving them whiplash. The parallel is so heavy and Powerful that when you hit the brakes, you can hear the gears grinding. I have owned power wheels before and for a cheaper price that worked much better and have lasted a lot longer. When I wrote customer service, they just gave me whatever excuse they can so they do not have to help me with such an expensive buy. If I were you I would shop somewhere else!

Spent $900 for a buggy, spare battery and insurance. The box was destroyed upon arrival. Missing the battery. Broken and unusable tire. Damaged frame and bumper. Scratched and hole in leather seat. Customer service didn’t care and blamed it on FedEx. Said I’d have to pay shipping and restocking to send it back. Unacceptable practice, their word and guarantee don’t mean anything.

Trash company and trash product. Paid $800 dollars for one of their Jeeps for a Christmas gift for my daughter. Lasted just over a month before it stopped working. Noticed smoke from under the hood and found a frayed, smoking battery wire. Has been inoperable since. Given the runaround by this joke of a company for last several months. After numerous videos and emails, they decided to not stand behind their product at all, stating that "they don't warranty electrical problems". What a joke! Company should not be allowed to do business with the public.

Terrible product and terrible customer service and they filter their reviews. They had a product advertised as a two seater when it could hardly fit a 2 year old and a stuffed animal. Once we complained, they updated their website and took off the dimensions. They are impossible to get a hold of and they charge return shipping AND a restocking fee. Feels like a sham. After having read reviews OFF their website, my beliefs feel pretty confirmed. Get your product elsewhere.

Quality Control issues. It worked once, then stopped working. Support says they will ship you extra parts but never does. The backorder of the parts turns into weeks, then months. You are unable to return the product and are left with a 400-dollar paperweight and disappointed children.

I purchased almost a year ago, steering motor failed day 2. they sent me the wrong replacement part, then ignored me. I've tried all over to find the part but everything is just a little bit off. Horrible company! We bought a $900 atv from here for it to blow up after three months, We kept reaching out to customer service to order replacement motors and they were not helpful and kept saying 3 to 4 weeks, they have been saying this for 4 months now!
