The Internet is full of consumer traps OurTime.com : I deleted my information from your website many days ago. I thought I had quit your website, but you still charge for it. I went to my account many times and you went to see it, but it showed that “We apologize for the inconvenience:Access to your Account Settings is currently unavailable. Please try again later.” it can't be cancelled at all. As a result, you deducted another month's fee of $32 from my credit card, which seems like a trap, because when I pay for my credit card, it's hard to notice, and I have to do everything possible to cancel it, otherwise you will automatically charge continuously. I buy the most expensive in a short period of time one month, because I just don't want to buy cheap but for many months and a long time, as a result, you still deduct the most expensive month in a row, which can not be the wishes of consumers. I hope you can return the $32 deducted this month (May) to my credit card. Thank you very much

A very basic problem with Ourtime.com is that beyond all the scams and everything else, if they are trying To be a legitimate site they are doing a really crappy job of it. They seem to have set up a very poor questionnaire and they don't give you any information about the person you're trying to learn about. The Profiles don't even tell you how tall they are!! The site is a real waste of time -look elsewhere. On match.com, which is owned by the same company, at least you get a much better understanding of who you are talking to from profile that they have presented. I don't understand why Ourtime.com would not be following the same model but when you view their profiles you just don't learn anything about the person. It is very annoying and waste of money and time. The people that are really trying to use the site are being ripped off and not getting their moneys worth

Like others, I should have read reviews prior to prepaying a 6-mo subscription. I signed up Jan 2019 and immediately continued to get locked out of my account with no email notification from Our Time. About a month into it, and being asked to reset my password again (I believe I had already set it up 4 times by this point), I reached out to their customer service. They acknowledged they were locking me out and provided a few possibilities, none of which applied to my usage. This is likely an authentication issue on their end they need to fix. They finally closed my account but refused to refund me as they said I still had access to their email. When they send daily emails with notifications, you can get to their email through a link in those daily emails...it only works once a day and you cannot access other areas in their site without logging in. SO being constantly locked out prevented me from updating my profile or other activities along with just limited email access. They didn't help and didn't refund me. I'll gladly absorb the $107 in exchange for being able to post my complaint to assist others from avoiding this same issue.

I should have read the other reviews before I joined the site it is a waste of time to join this site mainly because they have just generic responses to messages in that you can write a message all day long and you're still going to get the same sad robotic generic response of I like your profile or contact me or several other responses but they're all generic and when you do reach out to them the response back is generic which tells me this is a fake site all of these one Stars though is exactly what that site should be find a different site other than this one I'm 2 weeks into a 6 month subscription big mistake

Nothing but fake profiles! Nobody real and the real ones that are there are scared people who don't want to talk and are being scammed. Under my views were hundreds of views i did not do! Flirts i did not make! The ourtime company controlled everything because i was not going to pay more for the other features. I (think) one woman was interested in me but never got the chance because they would not let it happen and i would not doubt that they are still using the photos i uploaded to there site to make other fake profiles. I viewed one woman's profile and about a week later it had a different picture of a different woman. Nothing but scammers there DO NOT GO THERE!

I'm not going to write a long review, but just highlights. As other reviewers said the site generates many connections without my input, every time you touch the screen, it does something like send a flirt or Yes vote. I paid over $20 just for one month to try it out and will not renew. The whole user experience on the site is badly designed. Anytime you want to do anything on the site, they want more money to connect. There is no way to leave any recommendations to the site admins. Also people have no clue how to wrote a profile. I know, many users are not internet savvy and are afraid to leave too much info. Also many use boiler plate profiles and no pictures, so I would think the success rate on OurTime is low. There are many scammers sending you hidden info in the profile to call them or email. There's got to be a better way to meet people!!!!!!!

I created an account at Ourtime but didn't actually pay until 3 weeks after - when I received a great deal in an email. Fast forward to today, I log into my laptop and discovered that during the 3 weeks I wasn't a paying member, they would send fake messages to other members. Ourtime sent members that I clicked 'yes I would be interested' fake messages that; I made them my favorite member, I loved their pictures, I wanted to hear more from them, I had sent a flirt...which I had NEVER sent. That eventually triggered an email sent to those members that I had liked their profile somehow. And eventually, those members would reply back to my profile with either flirts or a response that would trigger an email back to me that someone had made me there favorite, or I have a message from a member, ect.... all to entice me to pay to join. Upon discovering that, I changed my profile to totally idiotic choices because no matter who sends me a flirt, message or like my pictures, how am I to believe it was sent from a real member and not just someone who looked at my profile or just computer generated. Well guess what? I am still receiving flirts and messages with my idiot profile and I can bet you they are not from any member because there is no way anyone would reply to my profile the way it is now posted. I am surprised Ourtime has not been investigated yet. There is nothing legitimate about them. All they do is take money from people. Seriously, that's all they do.

I only gave this one star because I couldn't give it any lower rating. The matches apparently have age and location only filters so the site kept sending me smokers as possible matches--which is a deal-breaker for me. I also got daily matches over the course of my 30-day membership I would say 65% of my daily matches were repeats. I also responded to an email that the user told me had been fraudulently sent. In addition there are a lot of photos on there with the same profile words, obviously fake profiles. I only had one date from the website and that was not worth the time that I spent on it. Very disappointed and recommend that you avoid this website unless you just want to throw money away. Or better yet if you want to throw money away send it to me to offset the money I stupidly spent on this membership. I'm thankful I only signed up for 30 days oh, and I pulled my photos and wiped my profile as much as I could before leaving the site. I was also annoyed I could not delete the profile and username before I cancelled the membership.

Joined end of 03/16 as a free customer but soon paid like $24 upgrade so I could see my messages. So I would mostly go on to see what was available and if this was the place for me. I hadn't even put a photo up yet and I listed my status as "legally separated," which it is. The site appeared either to send out flirts on my behalf or in the simple process of navigating on the screen I accidentally hit the "send-out-multiple-flirts-to-strange-men" button....needless to say I was mortified when I viewed the "flirts sent" option.....I just quit on 04/20/16, not totally because of these issues, but because of one guy who contacted me who when I said I wasn't really interested, he acted pissy and said he didn't date married women, so I could "move on." I clearly had "legally separated" as my status, which they, the site, allows...I hadn't conversed with this guy at all after that and had no intention to anyway.....and then the jerkwad blocks me.....I quit at that point....in case I would find more of same.....plus quality of men is somewhat dismal...

OurTime is full of fake profiles and scammers, not to mention the lousy customer service that other (former) members of OurTime have complained about elsewhere. Besides all the OurTime profiles that are obviously fakes by scammers in nigeria, it also appears that Ourtime is creating its own fake profiles in order to inflate its membership numbers. Searching through the female profiles you will start noticing the same lines of text from profile to profile. "Keyword" search a catchy-looking phrase of one such text, like "Anything active or outdoors, I'm in!" for any metro area in the US you can think of, and your search results will be hundreds of female profiles with that identical text pasted in. Project that across the entire USA and it's easy to see that OurTime has tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of such fake female profiles. Reminds you of the recent news story about the dating site Ashley Madison being hacked. Ashley Madison claimed it had 1.5 million female members who wanted to have affairs with married men. After the hack an independent third party searched through the site and determined that Ashley Madison actually had only about 9,000 individual female members, not the 1.5 million they claimed. Former Ashley Madison employees came forward stating they had been directed by their supervisors to create as many as 1,000 fake profiles on Ashley Madison. OurTime, and its sister site LoveAndSeek, seem to be in that same boat with Ashley Madison. So if you just joined OurTime or LoveAndSeek, and you've messaged a bunch of 'women' you found on those sites, but almost none of them have replied, it may be because all those female profiles you messaged are fakes.

1. OurTime.com is full of expired accounts that are still on the site although the people are not able to respond to any messages due to the fact that their accounts has been expired. When I was a member I had the impression that more than half of the accounts are expired. Now that my account has expired I cannot remove my account. There is no place at the OurTime.com website for me to delete my account by myself and in spite of my three messages sent to customer service asking them to do that my account is still there and I never got any response from customer service. They refuse to remove my defunct account and keep sending messages from other members supposedly trying to contact me so that I pay and renew my account to see these messages. 2. When you subscribe to this website you will find out that after paying a large fee of about $90 for six months membership you will be constantly asked at the website to pay more to access certain features such as for example being able to see if a message that you sent to someone has been read or not. IN MY OPINION OURTIME.COM IS A DISHONEST WEBSITE THAT KEEPS A LOT OF DEFUNCT ACCOUNTS TO MAKE THE IMPRESSION THAT THEY HAVE A LOT OF MEMBERS, WHILE MOST OF THESE FAKE MEMBERS DON'T ACTUALLY WANT TO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE WEBSITE AFTER A SHORT TERM OR BEING ACTUAL MEMBERS AND LEARNING ABOUT THEIR LACK OF INTEGRITY.

I called, told me they made mistake and will refund $. 4 months and 8 phone calls and e-mails later ,no refund. While a member, account was hacked twice and received likes and messages from fake accounts. I posted the truth of what they did and they kicked me off site for inappropriate content.

I’m unimpressed and underwhelmed by my experience on Ourtime. Not only did I lose my time, but also they charged me for the full year, although I have never subscribed for it. I only used free trial, but as it turned out it was not free at all. I know some great dating sites like J4bride I met Ukrainian women from there in the past so I know how a legit dating site works. Ourtime works in a completely different way and I would say they operate on disingenuous business model. I should have not got engaged with them. There are a lot better options so I clearly don’t recommend Ourtime.

I called and cancelled my Our Time membership last year. This morning I received a text from my bank due to a fraudulent charge to my account in the amount of 95.76 made by Our Time. Had to cancel my old debit card and get a new replacement card which was extremely annoying. Our Time needs to get their act together. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

Out Time is not transparent. There is no information about having to pay for "boosts" to be able to read messages. At every turn additional money is requested. There is no vetting of members. People without profiles can view yours. It is pretty shady. I think I will continue and report on the irregularities. This reminds me of Seniors scammed by unscrupulous charities.

I learned from a friend that OurTime sent a letter to everyone I contacted saying my account was fraudulent. They never bothered to verify with me or to notify me of this libel. It was accidental that I learned what they’d done. They refused to retract it. No one I had talked with would return my texts or emails. They claim it was bots but I think they are cruel and have no system for fixing libel.

You sign, you pay and put in your info about yourself and what you are looking for. I am a very busy person as most of us are and they send me matches on anyone, even women, and people that live across the country, so they don’t pick what you’re looking for so you have to go through all of them. You shouldn’t have to pay for this and it is the worst dating app.

The absolute worse customer service. They could not/refused to resolve a simple password issue. After I weeded out the scammers/fakes there was nobody left that was even close to dateable. I hid my profile for a week to take a break from the disappointment, and when I came back I could not get into my account. I was told unusual activity was going on. Who was using my profile? Makes you wonder. Since I could not get into the account I asked for reimbursement. I doubt I will get it because it seems as if this site is run by the scammers. Unbelievable.

A total waste of time! Within 24 hours, I was matched with hundreds of women, and almost none met my search criteria. During this one calendar day, I was “liked” and messaged by about forty women, including AT LEAST four fake accounts, three of which Our Time acknowledged in an email notice. I have cancelled my membership via the site I used for enrollment, and I am waiting to see a refund. I retired from a 50 year career of designing and building computer software, and I consider this system to be more of a scam than a professional service.

2/13/2021: created a profile with lots of detail 3/17/2021: without warning, OurTime TRUNCATED my description at 200 characters; thereby totally destroying the profile. This constitutes BAIT & SWITCH -- leading one to believe you can describe yourself, only to have that description trashed. I paid the money for a 6-month subscription. I discovered that when I send an email I get the notice, "Let Her Reply For Free." This cost $8.99 per person. So if you send 10 emails it will cost you $89.99! The other horrible thing is that if you click the "Let Her Reply For Free", to see what it says, it automatically charges your credit card - even if you have a paid membership. I'm trying to dispute these extra charges through my credit company.

This site has a "Like" feature. That means if a member is interested in another member they can send them a "Like." which will appear on that member's profile. I have replied to some of the "Likes" Ive received, but I never get another reply. That makes me believe that these "Likes" are fake and generated by the dating site.

Horrible site. Don’t waste your money. Scammers and fake profiles galore. I can’t tell you how many likes I would get, when I checked out the profile, the lady looked 30 years old, and the profile claimed she was mid-50s. Horrendous scam Site, save your money, you have more chance of meeting somebody in your local supermarket. Now I am not George Clooney, but I am not Elephant Man either, but sending over 100 introduction messages without a single reply, is not great for your self esteem. Dont even join the free version, because they use snide tactics to get you to part with cash, sending messages saying somebody is interested in you, so you join up, only to find, your potential coffee date is overseas. Like a dope, I was a paying member twice. It took me over a year to finally realize it's a scam, full of fake profiles. I would see the same "personal descriptions" show up on a number of different profiles, and the wordings were IDENTICAL on many of them. Each time I cancelled, I was suddenly barraged with more views and messages than I ever got when I was paying. As my final subscription was winding down, I re-worded my personal description to state that I thought that many of the profiles were fake. OurTime didn't like that and removed my post.

I have heard that others users have had their profiles hacked as well which resulted in the hacker contacting other members they NEVER would have made contact with. I looked at OT and gave basic info but did not pay to sign up. I received 80 plus messages but still did not pay to join. They finally offered me a discount price of around $35 for 6 months. So paid. Of the 80 messages, most were canned messages saying they liked my profile. I had no profile. I was attracted to 2 men who had reached out to me so contacted them. No response.
