I received an email from you requesting my opinion on how my bath planet experience went. Quite honestly I was disappointed in how things turned out. What the salesman and I went over and decided on and what the installation process actually used was not the same. I ended up with a nice shower however it was smaller than what my expectations were and the doors that I was told I could have I was then told I couldn't have because the sales representative had misinformed me so I had to go a different route.The rain head shower has a constant drip which when I called and talked with a representative at Bath planet I was told that was just what it did. When I signed the final initial paperwork stating that the work was completed correctly I wasn't actually at home when that was presented, I was at work and my son brought me the paper stating that the installation man needed to have them initialed and signed so he could proceed with his next job and I didn't get to have a say in how it finally turned out. For the amount of money that I spent on this I wish it would've gone differently and every time I shower I wish that I had more room but it is what it is and I doubt that anybody will do anything to change it for me.If i had it to do all over again with the things that went wrong I would have made the necessary changes before the installation and I would be enjoying a bathroom shower that I really look forward to using every morning! On a better note the installer was an extremely nice man who tried really hard to make things work for me and really his hands were tied I appreciated how much he tried to make it work like I wanted it to be it wasn't his fault he was the guy in the middle. Even though the guy came out here a couple of times, it took two times due to fixing some of the problems we had. We had a leak that was developed that my plumber said was caused by Bath Planet and they said they had nothing to do with it. It's not as easy and clean as they lead you to believe. I keep having a problem with the building.

On July 17,2023 Tyler J sat at our table and sold us the walk-in shower we thought we would get. So we thought. He told us all kinds of things we wanted to hear like my husband was concerned the walls and floor might be in bad shape in the 1912 home. Oh Mr J says they will take care of all that. Once they get it out they will fix that no problem. Also we asked for our 4 shelves to match the look of the walls. As he talked and typed the order, needless to say I trusted him. Well when the installers came (they did a good job ,doing just what they were told by their company), they tore out the cast iron tub and the old liner walls, and everything. Luckily we saw the walls and floor looked better than expected. They did the install when it came to let them know about the shelves we saw they had 2 chrome shelves NOT the 4 matching shelves. Then I looked back at the contact more and it appeared Mr J was talking so much to us that he put in 2 chrome shelves not what we asked for. So ok we had them put it in The shower head according to when Mr J talked to us would be similar to the 2 head shower with 1 with a long hose..NOPE we got a single shower head with a magnet so we can use it sitting ...Now we cant use the shower for at least 24 hours, so the next day we go to use it. The shower base is unlevel. We have a pool of water in the back corner. Had someone told us it would have been solved then. We could have placed wood there, because...READ THE PRINT THEY DON'T DO ANY ADJUSTMENTS. I would think they would have at least leveled to the shower pan.$14000. And semi screwed.SO I will forever read everything that I sign for....I know don't trust but I did

I was told that I would get a $1500.00 discount as offered by a competitor! I did not!! I was told I could get matte black fixtures, I did not! Open holes in my floor were left..while doing plumbing work they cut holes in my insulation and they left them open. I had to repair them! Crawl space was left open, I had to reseal. They brought me a shower curtain rod without the packaging so no bolts or screws! It's been 3 weeks and I still don't have the 2 shower shelves or the towel rack! The lady in chesterfield, mo. is no help and quite short on answers yet I paid them in full!! I would recommend shopping elsewhere

Bath Planet sent a sales person to our home to set us up with a remodel from bath tub to walk in shower. Scott W was the salesman's name. We discussed the fact we wanted the tub taken completely out and a new walk in shower installed. Mr W showed us pictures of the product and then asked to see the existing layout. After seeing the layout, he took some measurements. We discussed the materials and were advised the walls would be taken out down to the studs and ne product installed. We discussed the selection and decided we wanted Valencia on the walls and I believed this would be on three walls, wrong, it was only on 1 wall with almond on the end walls. We were told it would take approx. 2 months after the order was turned in to complete the manufacture of the materials, this was on Sep 7, 2021. We assumed this meant the materials would be ready to install on Nov 7 or thereabouts. Wrong again, the materials came in late December or early January, 2022.. The installer did not notify he was coming out till the day he was coming out. the ladies in the office were fairly good about checking with us until November. Then we had to call them to find out anything and the only thing we found out was the fact none of the materials were in the warehouse. The story was the same as I checked every other week. Finally when I checked on Jan 3, 2022 I was advised the parts were in and the installer was scheduled to be out in the next day or two if that was alright. We had doctor appointments on fourth and asked if it would be alright if he could come out on Wed, 5 January, 2022. That was okay with the office. We thought the installer would call and let us know approx, what time he would be outs. Wrong again so we called the offices again and they contacted Ryan P to find out about his arrival. He then called us. Ryan finished the installation on Friday Jan 7. He explained about the operation of the shower which was not the one we requested but it was better than having to wait months before getting what we had asked for. We were told to wait a couple of days so the sealant in the corners and joints to dry well. When I showered on Monday it was apparent the interior shower door needed to be adjusted to be sure water would not leak out the bottom. Also I had talked with Ryan about some extra grab bars that I desired. He had stated he would inquire at the warehouse to see if what i had inquired about was available and the cost. I had to leave a voice mail and waited for a call back. I did not receive a call back by Friday, Jan 10th so I called the office and it may have been Jan 17th when I called the office. The clerk that answered stated the manager was with a client but she would give her my name and number and have her call me back. She didn't call but gave the information to a Tom who called me on a Monday and after our discussion asked for a day to check. We agreed a day was okay. I still have not heard from Tom.

I cannot recommend this company, in any way. It took months to get the job started and weeks to get it completed. The 1st "crew" they sent in did more damage than is possible to list. The regional supervisor at the time was very apologetic and had to do some of the work himself. Some things were not completed to our satisfaction and made the company aware but they did little to fix our issues. Within 12 months I called to have some issues looked at. A new regional supervisor. He agreed with the issues but the home office overrode him and they refused to agree. We were told, verbally, that, since we had received a $500.00 credit for our inconvinience that we no longer had a warranty. I asked for, but was denied, a written confirmation of our denial. I would stay away from this company in Colorado.

The installation and product was okay. Over priced. The salesman Alex said he wante 100% satisfaction. Ell the installation damaged ou floor which was only a few years old. The salesman Alex said it was not his problem and the installer Brian will not respond. Customer service will not respond. Which make me concerned about the promised warranty. So basically I spent a lot of money for a damaged floor and to be blown off and ignored by the company.

They used high pressure sales tactics and promised completion in 90 days. They did not get it done as promised and did not communicate with us. When we called they told us they were waiting for a permit. The salesman called a few days later and he told us they could not find a plumber. Installer used painters tape to make a straight caulk line and ended up peeling paint off the wall. They installed a soap holder in the corner and the material is so thin it flexes with minimal pressure. It was not a good experience and was overpriced for what we got.

Aggressive sales person. Way over priced. I blame myself for not doing my research. Paid $8600 for tub and surround and had to buy everything else. Do Not Recommend.
