I find Planet Bath to be a rather wimpy company that would not do anything to help a customer who basically was screwed by their installer. It actually did not fully meet the original specifications that was laid out to us by the sales person and they refuse to come back and solve the issue. It is now causing damage to the area next to the bathroom. The company that was doing the installation were some of the worst people I've ever had come in to my house and work in the thirty years I've lived here. When I called, customer service refused to do anything about the situation.

There was poor follow up from the customer service. We did a follow up phone call because we had trouble locating the company and the original owner had to come in and do some more work and we were told someone was going to show up and no one showed up. It was a horrible experience.

If I could give a zero star to this company, I would. I hired this company to remodel my bathroom, and saying this was the worst possible service I've ever had is an understatement. I payed over $12,000 and when I tell you this was the worst possible decision I've ever made. The door is wonky and the shower is falling apart after just ONE MONTH. They installed the most horrible glass door for the shower that seems like it's about to break every time I even open it. I then spoke to one of their office associates who was in charge of remodeling about the problems, and when I tell you that was the RUDEST man I've ever talked to. This company is a FRAUDULENT and HORRIBLE company and hiring them was the biggest mistake I've ever made. DO NOT INVEST YOUR MONEY HERE!!!

Horrible! Fast forward 2 months for a 1 day job and we are being threatened by Dan because they are trying to pull the old bait an switch on us. We ordered a frameless door. They are trying to make us take a door I would have never chosen! The doors take 4-6 weeks to produce after measurements are taken. It's only been 1 week since the measurements were taken. But since we are disputing the style of door, the door we did not order will be ready next week and Dan has threatened to dump it on our property and that way the can say we received it! This has been a stressful nightmare! Buyer beware!

Seriously whatever you do, do NOT choose this company for your bathroom remodel. I have never dealt with customer service or installation of a project this unprofessional and honestly horrible. The sales pitch is very forceful, but they show great pictures of remodels and emphasize how they ensure it is done in one day. That is the main selling point. They do the measurements and set up an installation date for you, and promise it can get done soon. Then when they absolutely destroy your plumbing, completely mess up measurements so they have to come back and do it again, and have an incredibly rude installer fix your items and leave your house trashed, they have the audacity to say that they owe you nothing and we should be grateful that they fixed THEIR MISTAKES for no additional charge. They literally destroyed our plumbing, water pressure, and measured wrong so had to reinstall the panel. And then when we spent hours on the phone with them about this, they finally agree to fix it. But they will send out crotchety workers who will give you the run around about fixing it, and constantly need new repairmen to fix the issues. Then, even though you haven’t been able to use your shower (and sink) for weeks, they say they don’t owe you anything and will not adjust the price. This is the most insane company I have ever dealt with. Please, please, consider using an alternate company for your services. I am 12k in debt for a shower that doesn’t even look good, and dealing with a company who does not return your calls when you have a major customer service or installation issue.

Entered into contract 3/2022 with promise to install in 8 weeks -paid $3,500 deposit cash. Contract was to install shower, flooring, and other work. In June, they call ssying they can't produce materials I chose in the contract. I requested cancellation and refund: they jerked me around for months and then took it upon themselves to still order wrong materials that I never agreed to! Spoke to employees who refused to help and attempted to convince me to accept materials and a design I did not want/agree to. Finally spoke to Saigon who was semi-helpful: he had agreed to arrange new salesperson, Kaye to come to my home months later (August 2022)- she was supposed to arrive at 5pm but didn't arrive until 7:45 pm: told me the salesperson of original contract was fired and wasn't surprised he made mistakes with my order and wrote new contract - installers didn't show as planned on 10/12, canceled last minute. Original installer finally shows days later, installed wet space and broke my flooring that I paid for according to contract terms ($200+)! Ordered more flooring and installer said he'd come back to finish but wouldn't get paid if I didn't sign completion form that job was complete: since it wasn't complete, however, I noted on the form that job wasn't finished on Friday and the installers acknowledged they understood and needed to return to finish the job. Called, texted, emailed the company: installers, (Nia) office, (Kaye) salesperson, and more! Installers said they'd come back to install window kit in wet space and fix the crooked shower door (hung wrong) on upcoming Monday but canceled last minute again and did not show! Keep in mind, I had other contractors scheduled to finish work not included in agreement - like painting, lighting, sinks, plumbing, vanity, etc.) but had to keep pushing that work out because of this!!! A brand new installers came out next week and he ("Adolfo") was horrible: floor not level, sloping, planks cut wrong/pieces broken: major safety concerns (people stubbing toes), hole in wall, toilet knocked loose off flange, etc. Said he didn't have materials to fix or finish the job so he left!!!! I called office immediately and relentlessly asking to speak to management. Days later, I spoke to "Ray" who asked that I forward pictures of work (although I already sent to Nia) and he'd call back: waited for call but no call back so I called him again and when we spoke (early November), he agreed it was poorly done and said he or someone else would come to my home and look at work because he caulking and sealing would not fix problems. However, he never called me! MONTHS LATER on 1/6/2023 (while I was working), I answered a call from the "Operations Manager" about payment... when I tried to explain the troubles I had, I could hardly get a word in! He spoke over me, became irrate when I tried to interject, was profane, and threatened to press criminal charges against me if I didn't pay $7,700 stating that I intended to commit fraud! He hung up and continued to call back, left a voicemail (saved) threatening he will go to Gwinnett County police and tell them I stole services. He said they'd have a warrant for my arrest saying, "do you want a misdemeanor and get arrested over $7,700 or do you want to call me back?" The following week and for weeks later, I attempted to resolve again by calling/emailing the office (Nicole, Nia, David/Daniel): noone seems to care nor were they concerned that I was threatened by the Ops Manager. Even still, I offered to work with them, provided receipts for expenses and damages I incurred- they said they'd work to resolve. I was doubtful but still cooperated. I spoke directly to the owner and offered to resolve but they refused. Considering all the problems as a result of their breach of the agreement... after all of this, they're threatening to file a lien on my home! ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!

On October 14, 2022 you did sign the completion form. Though you did mention that the flooring you ordered did arrive broken and you were waiting on a new order to come in from your source, you did remark that all products and installation regarding the shower base and wall surrounds were completed and you were satisfied with it. PLEASE READ. Possibly the WORST experience. Take the time to do your research on Bath Planet. Don’t be bamboozled by their salesperson, price, and false promises. This will not be a one day project and the crazy high amount of money will not ensure top quality product or a workmanlike experience, as we were told it would. I’ll try to make this succinct because there is so much. On day one of the project, no show from workers. Day 2, workers came and CRACKED a bathroom floor tile, which still hasn’t been replaced. Day 3, the project is still not done. Day 4, we’re told the project is “done,” though it wasn’t (there was no shower rod installed), and later that night the ENTIRE TUB LEAKS from the second floor onto the hardwood floors of the first floor (see photo) - this was due to a faulty bath drain stopper, inadequately testing the tub, and improper installation. They had to replace the drywall and ceiling downstairs in the kitchen and repaint. Day 5, a worker shows up unannounced/unscheduled with a RANDOM SHOWER ROD we didn’t agree to. The shower rod was not the same as contractually agreed upon due to a lack of proper measurements during initial meetings - we had to research what new rod would fit for them. Zero care and disregard for disrupting our personal schedule. Audaciously expected us to be at their disposal to accommodate them beyond the scope of the promised 1 day project. The quality of the bathroom itself is SUBPAR at best - we contested a blatantly obvious crooked “window kit,” unsmooth caulking, loose faucet, and paint damage to the bathroom ceiling, just to name a few. We had to request that they paint the bathroom ceiling as they argued it’s “standard [for them] to leave it that way.” The entire project took OVER 7 BUSINESS DAYS across the span of now three months. We haven’t heard from anyone in the company for almost two months, as they have stopped responding to our requests for them to complete the project. They were entirely uncaring and INVALIDATING when discussing a resolution to all of their faults and have threatened DEMAND FOR PAYMENT even though the job is not complete. Simply a money hungry business with extremely poor customer service and extremely poor bathroom quality. Do yourself a favor, save your money and look elsewhere. ANYONE would be better.

Well I don’t know about others experience with this company but my were terrifying charging me 16,000 thousand dollars for a new shower tub I was witching to have a beautiful bathroom with glass well bar door white mármol walk and nice shower I showed a picture of what I want and I get not even half of what I want none quality job work termination were so questionable plus over charging me for a new bathroom went they only did repairs not encluding sink gabinete, toilet and others . Ahh I have a new glass door installed I ask them to saved cause I plan to do the bathrooms in the basement but I have to live to work they took the door to. Them after complaining they supposed to returned never happened.. This company not thrush able to my eyes ever and not recommend from me

I am providing a review of my experience with Bath Planet of Atlanta. I originally met with the Salesman on June 2, 2022, pitch, the thing that hooked us was the 2~3 day demo and install, turning our garden tub into a large shower and turning our old shower into a closet. Todd (salesman) said "no problem we do this all day every day". I signed the contract and that was the END of the positive experience with Bath Planet of Atlanta. I was told I would get a welcome email by the next day to tell me what to expect during the installation, to this day I have NEVER received that welcome email. Needless to say this company has the WORST communication, I had to initiate ALL of the correspondence with this company to keep it on track and to get any information. Needless to say my 2~3 day install with an additional 7~10 day wait for the glass doors took over a month in a half. The shelving that put up on our walls in the closet actually fell off of the wall. I had to miss several meetings, reschedule meetings and was left on hold for 30 minutes one day, causing me to miss yet another meeting. Bath Planet of Atlanta has ZERO regard for their customers time. I requested to speak with management NUMEROUS times, all of those requests went ignored (I have several emails to prove this). I have also been in contact with the Owner (Daniel B) who had ZERO concern that I had such a horrible experience with his staff. He could care less about all of the time I spent following up and project managing his staff, he had no regard for the fact that I had to miss meetings. I asked for my deposit of $3,000 back for all of the issues and inconvenience we had endured and he refused. He kept saying that the manufacturers warranty did not cover refunds, this has nothing to do with the materials this has to do with bad business principals/practices, company integrity and customer satisfaction. I am sure Mr. B will respond to this review and say they fixed all of our issues; which they did, AS THEY SHOULD HAVE. Again, this is not about if they fixed all of the issues or not (we never should have had to endure all of the issues we had to begin with), this is about integrity, customer satisfaction and good business practices. Buyer beware, check ALL REVIEWS and the Better Business Bureau complaints. I am not the only one who has had these issues with Bath Planet of Atlanta.

This was the worst experience with a contractor in my life. These guys are a window and door company passing themselves off as a Bath Planet outlet. The truth is they do NOT have an in-house crew to do the work. They subcontract everything out to a contractor who leaves garbage behind, including cigarette butts on the lawn. We signed a contract in January, and the work was finally completed in June!! This includes an 8 week period where we had an open hole in our bathroom. That's because they began demolition, and only then discovered they didn't order the correct product. (shower pan instead of tub) So we had no bath, and a large cavity in our bathroom for 2 months! They are way overpriced with poor customer service in return. I don't know about other Bath Planet outlets, but I'd steer clear of the one in SW Florida!!

I would not recommend this company!!! We had a representative come out in 9/14/21 and we went through a bunch of things that we wanted done such as the floor the bathtub, knock the archway out, and lay trim around the floor window & door & install vanity/toilet that we paid for. Which really wasn’t much well when they knocked out the arch way they left a hole in the ceiling telling my husband he had to fix it, didn’t line the trim on the outside from the bathroom the the hallway up, said that their not doing trim around the door or window unless we pay them an extra 300.00 on top of the 20,000 that they wanted to do the project, the cocking wasn’t complete around the bathtub and a hole was cut in my vanity that didn’t need to be cut cuz the board could have just been moved down 2 notches! The job was not done in a timely manner we started this in September and the didn’t come out till march! They said only one day for the tub installation and another day for the floor because they were gonna have a team and they only sent one person so five days later we were finally able to use the bathroom. I had to call and ask for a copy of the contract because my husband didn’t get one and they refused to give me an itemized recipe saying they don’t do that….well they don’t want to give me one because they know their price gouging! I told my husband not to go through them and now I can say I told you so! I shouldn’t have to call the company to do their jobs especially when I’m paying 20,000 which would have been more than enough to do the whole bathroom with whatever variety I wanted! Please guys learn from are mistakes!

ANOTHER THING ABOUT THIS COMPANY IS THE ALL THE PRODUCTS THEY ORDER FOR YOUR JOB, IF THEY DON'T USE THEM ALL THEY GO IN TO THERE STOCK. MY LEFT OVER FLOORING WENT INTO THERE FREE STOCK ,SO THEY GOT 16 SQ,FT. FREE. SO WHAT FREE STOCK PRODUCTS DO THEY USE ON YOUR JOB DO YOU THNEXT CUSTOMER PAYS FOR. IF I HAD TO DO IT OVER I WOULDN'T CHOOSE THEM THERE KOHLER AND OTHER PRODUCTS JUST AS GOOD,THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS SEEING THE PRICES AND MATERIALS AND TIME. THIS COST 11672.00 DOLLARS AND POSSIBLE THE 6500.00 GRANT FROM THE VA. SO BEAWARE OF BATH PLANET AND KEN M RENOVATIONS

Don’t waste your money on these acrylic cover up systems...will cost you more later ! These systems are designed to “ cover up “ dated bathrooms with acrylic walls, tub liner and lots of caulking. Looks nice at first but in our experience within a couple years we started dealing with caulking issues and then a crack in our tub liner. Lifetime warranty.....Right !!! Company offered to send us a new replacement tub liner with the shipping and installation expenses put on us. These systems are bandaid solutions. A good local handyman can renovate your washroom properly for roughly the same cost without dealing with issue like we’ve had with this Bath Planet system ( BNI Acrylics )

I was given an estimate of 8,000.00 for a walk in shower they told me it would be 10% interest charge for a 10 year loan. They said the payments would be 99.00 per month . On 8,000.00 the interest should be 800.00 at 73.00 per month. For 99.00 per month for 120 months it would be 11,880 total. I think they are padding the bill through the bank and pocketing the rest of the money I think this is very deceptive to pull on people and people should be aware of this shady business.

It took them a month to finish mine always showing up without all parts . Half the time they didn’t show up . Now 2 years later still having problems with silicone at base of shower pan never stays falls off . I’ve been calling the person who did the job but he never shows up . I’m done with this crap . We don’t even use the shower for fear of water damage

After our tub to shower conversion we had one small issue to resolve with the company….3 months ago. Despite weekly, then daily, phone calls and a few emails to try to resolve this issue, we have not heard back even once. Now we have another issue that we’d like to schedule someone to fix but we do not hold out ANY HOPE of getting anywhere with this company. If you’re considering Bath Planet for your remodel, the price will lure you in but the follow up will make you want to tear your hair out.

A little high pressure sales pitch, but the rep was personable. My 1 day conversion from tub to walk in is now at 3 weeks and counting with no shower. Design had to change, larger size was determined by the installer to "keep me from having to change flooring"; but it left me with an out of scale big box in my bathroom. Manager Demetri was rude and wanted to strong arm me into acceptance. Not a way to treat seniors.

Very unhappy at this time, left us with a new shower and flooring and without a toilet after a week now and no show on any workers today after long holiday weekend. Placed call to find out what is happening and was told would have to check and call me back. Well after over 4 hours and no return call it is apparent their business is not about customer service. First of all their salesman told us we would not be without a toilet for more than 3 days!

Started in July 2021, finally partially completed in 4/2023... almost 2 years with these guys... promised 3-4 months, and they ended up refunding for the shower glass door because now they say they cannot get us a door to fit, but we can probably have a custom one made... why not tell us months ago so we could have ordered? the showerhead is leaking, hand rail put on crooked, installer was nice but is contracted by company, and each Bath Planet is an individual dealer, stay away from the Detroit Dealer as they do not stand behind anything and do not return calls, was told they were sold which really wasnt the truth as it appears it is still the same owner just changing his name around with Michigan corporations division... just go to a big box store and order what you want this is a gimmick by this company or hire yourself a bathroom tile installer, would be much cheaper.

Be aware dont honor there contract after they get your deposit was told to get a refund i had 3 days to cancel I canceled the next day and was told that because I paid in a check I would have to wait ten days still waiting after almost 3 weeks still no refund so please be careful if you work with this company

NO FOLLOW THROUGH! I spent $8,000 on a entire new shower! Parts of the door are rusty and the bottom where they put a piece of cheap rubber to protect water from leaking has mold! They replaced it to no avail!!!
