Hogan Lovells US LLP began as two separate firms: Hogan & Hartson (founded in Washington D.C. in 1904) and Lovells (founded in the UK in 1899). The two firms merged together in 2010 to create the Hogan Lovells firm. The multi-national firm's headquarters are currently split between Washington D.C. and London, England. The firm focuses on providing many legal services including litigation for bankruptcy cases. They strive to offer services around the world. Industry analyst BTI Consulting gave the firm the label of "fearsome opponent" in 2015.
