SafeAuto will retrieve a former quote for a former client, "remembering" them if they switch insurance companies for several months. This gives you the opportunity to try other companies of similar services temporarily, to make sure that you are, in fact, making the right decision. Auto insurance is not a light matter, so this feature is important-there would be no need to restart the process if you were to decide that SafeAuto offers the plan for you.

File and Track Claims
Customers cannot file a claim online; they must phone in to report it. They cannot track claims online either.
Payment Methods
If your American Express is your best friend, it is not going to help you in this situation. When it is time to pay for your insurance each month, this might become an issue, as they do not accept them.
Service Coverage
As stated in our introduction, Safeco Auto is offered in only 16/50 U.S. states: Arizona, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. For residents of these sixteen states, a perk would be that they could file claims over the phone 24/7.
