Three installers arrived on time and started right away and loading in early morning of scheduled day and worked nonstop till finished at expected time mid afternoon. Team lead was exceptionally courteous and kept me informed through out the day of their status including a change in lay out that is expected to produce a higher output and an over view before leaving of all that was done with pictures of the installed panels on the roof. The only major negative part occurred at the end when view in the install finding out that the panel outside curbing to enclose the panels had NOT been included in the shipment. Due to squirrels running on the roof and leaves from neighbors trees falling all over my roof I had specifically mentioned to the Sales representative that I would NOT be able to have panels if they were not enclosed as I did not want squirrels running under them or to have piles of leaves stuck under the panels on my roof. The sales representative had ensured me that enclosing the panels was included in the install. After a few phone calls they were able to send Blue Raven and Idaho power to finish the install of the critter guards and activate the system.

It has been over a year since we had Mike F with Blue Raven Solar install our system and I am just impressed today as I was excited the day it was installed. I continue to tell my neighbors how excited I am that we have no electric bill. Understanding based on roof availability and people's usage not everyone can have a $0 electric bill, but I would take whatever discount I could take. I feel like they were very honest. They got the job dinne quickly. They offer a lot of supports such as people calling to help us understand the trax credits.. people calling and letting us know of the option to combine our mortgage loan and solar loan together. They weren't pushy. Many of our friends used them and were satisfied also. We also liked this company because you can pay them off as soon as you wish without a penalty. The other company we looked at only let you make a one time lump sum payment.

This company is easy to work with they took care of all the requirements and permits...we did very little... they scheduled 2 days for the install and they were done with the install bu 1:30 on the first day, the guys were soooooo nice and knowledgeable... we are now waiting for the county inspector and the utility company to install the new elect meter. Then we will be producing some of our own electricity..... YAAy

Our consultant, John, was very helpful and a good voice for us with the company. The company's service was prompt and thorough. They took care of everything for us- we never had to talk with anyone from the city or electric company. Our consultant and the company took care of all of the details very well. The install crew was very professional and efficient. Survived pouring rain and did the whole install in about 8 hours- including a trip to town for dry clothes at lunch! Cleaned up the job site very well.

The support person was very helpful in locating information that addressed my questions. My appointment was scheduled for 7 - 7:30 on a Friday and I was ready the materials arrived at that time. One of the installers called me to let me know they would show up closer to 9 because of where they were coming from. They got the job done early and were informative about the steps of the process. Great product, great service, bad sales job. Blue Raven did not sell me the amount of panels I wanted or needed. When I figured out that I was not producing 100% or even 90% of my usage... more like 80% I called Blue Raven and told them I was dissatisfied with this. I was told by a Blue Raven customer service rep that I was producing exactly what the contract said I was supposed to produce. I told them that’s not what I was dissatisfied about. I told him I was dissatisfied with their kWh estimation. The customer service rep then told me they estimated that there would be a 20% saving with the Ecobee thermostat and switching to all LED lights so that’s how they came up with the amount of panels I would need. Guess what? Now I am producing 80% of the power I need. Excel Energy allows me to have enough panels for 106% power usage estimate. If that’s what I am allowed then that is what I wanted! What if I wanted to get an EV in the future. What about adding lighting. That 106% would have allowed for power usage growth. I had another company give an estimate which was 13kWh system vs. Blue Raven’s 10kWh system I had installed. The sales guy said the other company was trying to up sell a system I didn’t need. Wrong, if I had a 13kWh system I would be producing 100% of what I needed! Don’t be cute Blue Raven, give you customer what they want. They didn’t explain clearly enough how they came up with the estimate. Now I’m gonna have to have you guys back out here to complete the system I should have had in the 1st place!

Sorry about any confusion, the energy reduction numbers for using the ecobee thermostat comes directly from Ecobee's own data, but it's energy-reducing power depends heavily on the way the thermostat is used. I made contact with a Blue Raven representative in September 2019. He thoroughly explained the process to me without any pressure to buy. Even though, the person who does the initial inspection didn’t work on the weekend, the company accommodated me and I was able to get the inspection on a Saturday. After I had the initial inspection, I was given three days to think things over. I was kept in the loop every step of the day. There was no out of pocket expense for me. I had my panels installed today. The installer was on time and worked efficiently and cleaned up afterwards.

We had Blue Raven Solar install our solar panels last week. They started on a bright sunny day, a little later in the day then they expected, so they didn't accomplish the entire job. The following day, it rarely even rains in Nevada, but it poured, the team was out there in their rain gear early in the morning to make sure our panel installation was complete by the end of the day. They just had to come back the next morning to clean up a bit and make sure everything looked great. We would said that was dedicated at its best. The team did a fantastic job, thank you to them all.

From the very first time my wife and I sat down with the sales Manager, I was impressed. All the facts and figures he quoted for us were correct. The initial sales people were not pushy, just gave me the facts. Being a CPA, I understood the simple economics - pay the utility or pay for solar. Utilities go on forever, solar is a short finance. A great option for those planning on retiring as you gain some independence from the utility companies and protect yourself against future rate increases. Invest in your house, not the utility company - GO SOLAR.

Scott and his crew were great! Very courteous, friendly, professional crew. The installation looks great! The attention to detail is fantastic. The delays in the install are due to the local utility permits and not the fault of the installers. Once permits were approved, they came in and got it done! Scott went over the system and how to energize it once the inspection is done and passed. His company monitors the panels to be sure they are all functioning as they were designed to do. Top notch system. Top notch company and crew. Nothing negative at all to say about them!

Installation was come completed a day earlier than promised. The crew was outstanding... very knowledgeable and explained my system very well . Very courteous and respectful to our home and property. The material truck and installers arrived in a timely manner and were very pleasant, the material was unloaded quickly, and the installers staid steady at it. There was a hiccup with the original design based on the breaker panel location, but they got on the phone with the design team and figured out an alternate solution quickly. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure i knew the next steps before my system could be put into service. Overall, a very good experience and i would recommend Blue Raven to others.

Harrison and Conrad were great at explaining the Blue Solar panels and system. They explained the process and approximate time for permits to in service. The information has been spot on. Installation was done today including the electrical work. Everyone was professional and knowledgeable. The work is exceptional. Everyone cares about their job. It looks great. The rep that I talked to from Blue Raven Solar was Rhett Honeycutt. Rhett went to great lengths to explain the program to me. He went over how Blue Raven works with Duke Energy to set everything up. He covered how the system pays for itself and walked me through each step of the process to get set up. He explained all of the warranties and answered any question I had about the company. Rhett was very informative and knowledgeable about the company and about solar energy. He was very polite and made the experience very pleasant.

We had been considering solar for several years. Daniel S met with us and reviewed the setup. Danny and his crew installed in one day, quite a feat considering our steep pitched roof. They worked hard to get the net meter installed a few weeks later from excel energy. We bought the system outright. I have not received an energy bill yet, but am anxious to see how it will impact my bill. Everyone has kept me up to date with every aspect of the install. Overall, they did a great job!

The company is clean effective fast and the product is top of the line this is my second house I had blue raven solar installed onto. I produce way over what I expected in power with this Utah sunshine and they are paying the bill for awhile as well. With blue raven you OWN your panels its not a lease system. And the things can take a baseball to the face and not crack.

I have no complaints yet with this new concept of solar energy. All my questions were answered at the initial meetings before I signed up and it all looked positive and uplifting for the future. The only thing that would have stopped me was the big price tag for it but when the sales rep said they would provide the help in the payment process in the beginning , I was in. The installation of the panels and hook-ups had some schedule problems with the city, vendors and contractors but it went live without a problem. The check payment in the first year for the loan came every month and I was able to send the payment to the loan company. The past 6-8 month I have been receiving a credit amount from the pge account and haven't paid any bills till today. Now I feel this program is benefiting on my behalf. Hoorah! Thank you for your input regarding the progress after one year. Very encouraging that I did the right thing.

I had been looking into Solar option in North Carolina for a few months. Moved into a new construction, with south facing rear, so it seemed like a good fit. Blue Raven reached out, come by, sat down with wife and myself, explained the whole process. It was just installed yesterday. They have been in constant communication keeping myself and the wife in the loop and letting us know what time frame to expect (need to get approvals). The crew showed up yesterday (on time) and were done on time. Very courteous and did not interfere with the household flow.
