Jonathan gets 5 stars from me! Highly recommend him to anyone looking to add solar + backup battery. I found him via a recommendation on Nextdoor - who also wrote glowing reviews. I'd been waiting to do solar until a reliable backup battery was available, and pricing was reasonable. Living in an area that regularly experiences PGE public safety power shut offs during high wind events due to fire hazard, having whole house backup power became imperative, since I work from home. The system I chose has rooftop solar panels + a Tesla gateway + Tesla backup battery that is hard wired into the electrical panel that runs the entire house. Tesla battery can be managed via an app, and literally no effort from me is required to switch over to the Telsa battery when the power goes off. The gateway does the cut over automatically. Jonathan is extremely knowledgeable about the systems available, as well as the financing plans, and practical application to my specific situation. He helped me choose the right plan for my needs, and most importantly, got me into the design / permit / install queue super quick so that the system was operational literally 2 days before the first PGE public safety power shut off. Could not have asked for better service or help! When I had second thoughts (mostly about a potential move, and how the system would transfer to new homeowner if I sold... which did not actually end up happening)... he patiently listened and explained how it all works. He answered my calls, my texts and all my questions promptly and intelligently - never felt like I was being given a slick sales job. Everything about this went exactly as planned - from the sales call, to the site visit, the design / planning, the permitting, the actual install and follow up PGE sign off. Now the system works exactly as expected, and I literally don't have to do anything - except pay for it! Great options for payments - I took the prepaid lease, where I paid the 25 year lease up front, and SunRun maintains the system from here out. Granted, I'm taking a risk on continued good results with sunrun system maintenance for the next 25 years, but for the current situation, that is a risk worth taking. Some of my neighbors have gone with other solar companies, with fairly poor results. One neighbor's installation was completely botched - panels were installed in shaded area, and no back up battery was included. Took months to resolve dispute and they had no power during PGE PSPS. Sad. Another friend had panels + battery installed, but wasn't a Tesla battery, wasn't connected into their electrical panel and thus requires them to run extension cords from major appliances out to the battery in the garage when a power shut off is coming. Ridiculous! I'm super happy with my sunrun system and look forward to it being something I just don't have to worry about for many years to come. Jonathan is a great guy, super knowledgeable and I highly recommend!

Jonathan was incredibly kind, attentive, and thorough in setting up our system. He answered all our questions patiently, and had a great way of explaining how the process worked step by step. The installation and set up moved so quickly - From start to finish it took less than a month, and I'm incredibly grateful! I highly recommend Jonathan and SunRun
