With this package, customers can get a free domain, free hosting and free ad credits. They also get a mobile version of their website. The next plan up is the Captivating plan, which is their most popular as it is a good bargain for the features offered. The customer gets all of the benefits of the starter package with SEO help and the ability to take payments. This package really allows the customer to create the website that they need to reach the business goals without paying a large sum. The most expensive package offered is the Outstanding plan for $27.95 per month. This package just adds email assistance and priority customer support. With these three packages a customer with any size business can find something that they need for their website. The Simple package would work well for a small business, a portfolio or a personal blog or website. The Captivating and Outstanding packages would work well for business, especially as those businesses grow. Another benefit to the packages offered by Sitelio is the features that come standard for all of their customers. One of these features is a custom domain name. The domain name of a website is one of the first things that a visitor will see (as it is how they get to the site) and can set the tone for the first impression. Many companies charge their customers for their domain names, so this is a great bonus for Sitelio customers. They also offer a free mobile site for all of the websites they develop. Since many visitors will come from a mobile device, like a phone or tablet, it's very helpful to have this mobile version so the site will look good no matter where it's being viewed from.

The customer service options are very limited for customers of Sitelio. There are only two ways that a customer can get answers to their questions about products, services or actions they need to take. The first way is through their Frequently Asked Questions and related articles page. There are only 5 FAQ's published on their website, which is a very limited number and might not be the questions that customers have. Those questions might be answered in the other articles that are posted in their Support Center. These articles are organized by the different aspects of website building, like Getting Started, Editor, Design, Social Media, and more. Within each of these sections are a number of related articles to help with issues relating to that subject. Some articles are more helpful than others. The other way for customers to contact Sitelio support staff is through email. There is no time frame given for responses and no guarantee of answers. The design process through Sitelio is limited to the pre-designed templates available. There are more than 10,000 templates available to choose from. Each are professionally designed and attractive looking. They are organized by type of site, like photography, blog, wedding, business, music, project, or store. There are a lot of options available for the customer to choose from and once they have made a selection they have the option to do some customizing. This allows them to make the website fit their business. These pre-designed templates are the customer's only option for design. Unlike many of their competitors, Sitelio does not offer any custom design services. The customer does not have the option to have a one-on-one design session with a professional designer if they do not like any of templates.

The Bottom Line

With their variety of packages and simple, easy-to-use processes Sitelio is especially useful for small businesses and personal websites. Their services do not require any knowledge of coding or web design to create a functioning website. The customer will need to be confident in their abilities to figure out problems with little help though, since there is little customer service available.

I paid for their year's subscription to upgrade my website. They took the money and I received an email confirming payment. They then refused to acknowledge that they'd received anything and after 25+ emails I'm no further forward. Scam website - avoid.

They keep charging you even if you don't use them. The customer service agents are slow and do not speak English well. If you want to repeat yourself over and over again, this is the place for you. NEVER USE THEM!
