By visiting Quality Water Treatment’s website, consumers can check the water quality in their neighborhood. Return Policy Stipulations

Quality Water Treatment allows customers to return products for any reason as long as they are within the 60-day time frame. This is a reasonably generous return period, but there are some things you’ll want to be aware of before making a purchase. 

Returns and exchanges will not be accepted after 60 days. All items are subject to a 25 percent restocking fee (shipping costs are non-refundable). Opened items or installed items cannot be returned. Both Berkey and Kangen products are not eligible for returns as the manufacturer warranties them. 

None of these conditions should be anything too surprising, but it is good to make note of these in case you are thinking about returning an item.

We had to replace our softener since it was 20+ years old and my daughter drove into the brine tank and cracked it. Got a new Softpro water softener and wow, it seems like it doesn’t use any salt. Very efficient. Mark was able to help me with a few questions on installation which was not as bad as I thought it would be. Overall, great service and love the new softener.

I purchased the Softpro Drop water softener from them. The installation and programming were simple with the help of their technical support. So far the system is working well. One of the reasons why I chose this system is I travel often for work and will be gone several days at a time so having access to an app to check my system as well as the leak detection etc makes me feel so much better when I'm away. 10 out of 10 recommend this system and this company

It's a horrible business model. Extremely bad for the consumers. I have purchased a brand new system, and tried installing it using a good plumber. It's been a nightmare since then. Right from the day of installation the system is not powering up. This company has no plumbers, they send you parts and expect you to replace them at your own cost. So after spending 1500$ their so called "State of the art" system and roughly the same in plumbing, the system is still not working. The plumber says it's not their problem. The company says it's not their problem. As a consumer you are better off hiring a local company and get a working product on day 1, with good customer service for the same price and 0 hassles.

HOWEVER we do also have a lot of homeowners that opt to hire a plumber or handyman to install which works just the same. In general, we sell high quality, warrantied equipment directly to homeowners. This allows our customers access to get professional grade equipment along with our technical support.

Although all equipment is tested before leaving the warehouse we still HIGHLY recommend checking all the boxes and testing the electronics of the equipment before proceeding with installation, especially if you've hired a plumber. As you know, we have already been addressing your specific issue regarding your faulty valve and the plumber’s installation and are very active to help get this resolved asap. We sent you a brand new replacement valve which we've asked that you plug in and test prior to scheduling the valve replacement with the plumber. Please do so and get back to us so we can proceed in assisting you with the rest of your concern (the plumbers fees to return).

If i could give 10 stars i would. Our water in Lake Havasu AZ is really hard with alot of chlorine. We have had this newly remodeled winter home for almost a year and the water was already starting to stain all appliances and a few leaky faucets. I searched locally amd all over the internet for the right solution. I ran across Qualitywatertreatment.com. They have a water quality program on their website that walked me through a few questions and a water quality report was generated with a few recommendations that were spot on for what i needed. Tbe process took me about 10 minutes. I picked the High efficiency softpro water softener and upflow carbon filter. My systems arrived within 7 days, seemed like forever because i was excited to get good water after a year of living with it, i was like a kid on Christmas eve lol. The systems showed up FedEx and where very well packed and protected. All the instructions were straight forward and easy to follow. Because my local Home Depot or Lowes did not have a airgap device for my drain because it is not code here i made my own by using a plastic floor drain and drilled a hole large enough for my water softner drainline to fit through it. The quick connect hoses i purchased from Qualitywatertreatment.com were a blessing, they made the installation very easy and fast. All i had to do is cut a few copper pipes, bought a few shark bight elbows and couplers, a drain line, hose clamp and a bag of salt. 2.5 hours later i was done. Water is excellent now, no more chlorine or hard water and the water taste great. If you are looking for very high quality experience and equipment at a affordable price Qualitywatertreatment.com is the place you want to buy from. I wish this review site had a option to add photos of my systems because they are nice looking.

I can give below zero stars reviews if I can . This company is a fraud originally based in Las Vegas now showing they are in Dakota. We purchased a unit for 2600 $ and it came broken and I have already spent more than 1600 $ on plumbers that install these kind of systems but the company is neither willing to give refund nor exchange the unit. The customer service is in phillipines by someone named Rhea who have a American phone number will talk sweet with you but will not solve the problem.

Yes, we were in Nevada however we moved our business to South Dakota in 2014. We don't have control over other resources that are not associated with us updating the data in their data base. We are a family owned and operated company that has been in business since 1990, definitely not a scam company. As far as one of our customer service agents go, yes, she is in the Phillipines. It is very common practive for a higher percentage of companies to hire outside of the USA especially since covid. If you have issues speaking to one of our very well trained agents that are not in the USA then please let us know and we will have you only communicate with a management team member based in the USA. Our tech and sales manager has already attempted to reach out to you but please provide an order number so I can verify that he is reaching out to the correct customer and we can get you taken care of.

I've had this # 89 DF treatment system since 1-13-2021, easy set up but the programming was set up to use at 1660 gallons, this puts us at a 2 Regeneration ", which i think is too long. I tried to reset for a shorter time but the program will not change. My old system regenerated every 7 to 10 days and i had great water for 20 years , I'm now having a slight oder and taste problem.

Had problems with the main filter bipass valve leaking shortly after install.approximately 4-6 months. I couldn't seem to get any positive help so I was forced to shut down the pre filter. I made several attempts through emails to remedy a solution but months 3-8 went on with running only soft water with out the filter.I finally decided to order a flex bi pass valve on line and doing the repairs on my own.the defect valve the QWT sent has been replaced and so far my unit is back in full service. It's too bad I had to go to such extreme's and figure out what to do and go with out for so long over a 34.00 part .

The equipment doesn't work as advertised, their customer service is terrible and don't return phone calls or emails timely. (I would say a 3 month late email response is unacceptable) The owner never returned my phone call. They blamed the equipment not working on everything but their equipment. My water still smells.

We are sorry that you feel that we did not give you satisfactory service, we work had to give the best customer service in our industry and that is why we have been in business for over 33 years.

I want to bring a few things to light here though.

1) We have recorded calls and emails back and forth with you so your claim of us not contacting you is false.

2) It has been proven and established that the odor you are getting from one faucet in a small bathroom and none of the others in the house that ALL run through the same Carbon filter is not caused by the carbon filter " if it was then all the faucets in the home would have that odor. "It's established that when you bypass the carbon filter all you can smell is chlorine meaning the carbon filter works when in service".

We have established that the odor is an airborne bacteria, a venting problem or a drain issue at that location which can cause odors to come and go, you claim the odor is there when water sits in lines for a while but after running water for less than a minute odor goes away and again is only that one faucet "hence it's not a Carbon filter issue."

Again, we are sorry you are unhappy, but the issue is not the carbon filter and we have spoken to you several times, for all the above reasons and troubleshooting that has been done. We have advised you to look into controlling airborne bacteria in that room, sterilizing the drain systems, checking the venting several times.

I would look for other options if I needed equipment. I ordered from QWT and parts were missing. This was discovered when the plumber I hired tried to begin the installation. That was 4 days ago. I have spoken to and emailed with the Manila based customer service rep several times. I still have no idea when or if the parts have been/will be sent to me. This is not the same company it was 10 years ago I can tell you that.

As you have not responded to my email response to you I will respond here as well. Per my email, unfortunately the customer service agent you were working with had some complications with her email (she was locked out and we were having troubles getting her back in) therefore she was unable to respond to the emails you sent for 24 hours. As soon as she was back in her email she checked for an update and sent you tracking as soon as we had it. You contacted us Monday 9/18. The CS agent immediately reached out to the warehouse to get you these parts. It takes our warehouse anywhere for 24 to 72 hours depending on which warehouse and the parts needing to be shipped out. The parts were overnighted/shipped on 9/20 and delivered to you midday 9/21. This equates to about 3 days in total from time of contact to time of delivery. While I do understand your frustration that you did not receive a response to your emails for 24 hours it was a technical difficulty and not our customer service representative herself. From what I see our CS agent did follow protocol and did what she could to make sure you got your parts ASAP outside of her email being down. We apologize that parts were missing and you had to reschedule the plumber to come back and for the delay in response.

If you are considering a water system or components for a system, please be aware of the following: QUALITY WATER TREATMENT advertises quality water treatment systems and service. I purchased a 32,000 grain SoftPro system and a spin-down pre-filter from QWT. Purchasing and after-the-sale information on on shipping were great. However, the spin-down filter was not available in their warehouse and I waited nearly a month before requesting that the filter order be cancelled. QWT has been very slow in responding to my request(s) regarding the cancellation and I have yet to receive a refund ($95.00) to my credit card. My advice to anyone considering merchandise from this company is to beware! If the purchase can be completed when ordered, you will enjoy your exposure to QWT. Checked another few companies and quality water had so much more value! Our sales person, Mark was able to research our water content and make some good recommendations that the other companies could not even match. We bought a Softpro filter and softener, .. so glad and very happy. Ordering and delivery was easy and as expected. Installation was made very easy. It was a bit of a job, but saved about $1000 from doing it ourselves. Just take your time. Highly recommend.

When I started researching water softeners, I came across the water softener from Quality Water Treatment. They were a modern pop kind of shop and that led me to them. They were an independent company versus somebody like Home Depot or Sears.I knew that going with a smaller company you’re going to get that better experience with them as far as customer support. Also, the cost of it was really competitive versus the other makes and models.

My neighbor recommended Quality Water. I was going to get a local company to install a new softener system but after working with Quality, it was an easy decision to choose a better SoftPro system. Also I was able to get the right size of 64,000. The local guy wanted me to get a 48000 system, but that would have been too small for my family. I got a better selection and a much better price for the SoftPro. The order took about 10 days to get shipped. They always texted and answered the phone to keep me updated. Very happy that my neighbor recommended the SoftPro system.

I called Quality Water Treatment in need of help with treating my well water, i have very hard water and a decent amount of iron in my water as well as low P.H. We went over my well water report and they pointed me in the right direction with what equipment would or wouldn't be best for me and everything showed up in timely manner undamaged. Terrible experience, DO NOT order from QWT. Website claims 5-7 days for shipment and 100% satisfaction guaranteed. I ordered the SoftPro Iron Master Water Filtration System on April 29th. It is now May 18th and I still have not received my order, let alone a confirmed shipment date. Tried to contact them multiple times (don't bother trying to call QWT, their service or sales department never answers nor returns phone calls). I sent several emails and only received simple responses saying the warehouse is backed up, that they are working hard to get the system shipped, and will send an update with tracking confirmation (never received and the order status function on the website is never updated). I tried to cancel order as well, because I am now behind schedule with my project. They offered no response! Avoid this company! There are other companies out there that offer similar water treatment products, but with much better sales and technical support! UPDATE: I eventually received my order from QWT through the assistance of Jeremy, who was very helpful in getting the order assembled and shipped out. I easily installed the system myself after requesting the user manual, which was not provided in the shipment. After 3 months, I am very happy with the system. Iron and the bad odors are gone from my well water!

We purchased equipment from this company which sounded almost too good to be true. They charged our credit card for over three thousand dollars and confirmed a shipment date of 10-14 days. Many many days after this waiting and waiting for a FEDEX shipment and rehiring and rehiring the plumbing team to continue to push the date of installation, the company continued to say over and over that it was being shipped, and then stated it was shipped. Things started to sound really fishy, as the days went on, the thousands of dollars remained on our credit card. When it looked like something was going to arrive we let the charge remain, yet after weeks FEDEX stated that the shipment was requested by the sender TO BE RETURNED TO THE SELLER. We tried to contact someone there; the manager, the salesman who sold it to us, the support staff that said it was being shipped and NO ONE from the company responded to our emails, to our calls which are screened, nothing. FEDEX said the seller had received whatever packages were initially sent back yet NO CREDIT ON OUR CREDIT CARD WAS GIVEN. This is fraudulent business activity. With the way this company works as well as seeing other reviews of fraudulence we have blocked the company from being able to charge anything onto our credit card, have had to change our credit card number which is a huge pain, and have let our credit card company know the details of this fraudulent transaction to be aware of this fraudulent company. We get things are weird after COVID, yet the layers upon layers of fraudulent activity from this company is well beyond anythig we have experienced and we felt we should warn future buyers. We wish we had read more of the negative reviews posted on other sites rather than their own website.

This company is one of the work online experiences I have ever had! First of all, the picture of the item I ordered was wrong and not even made any more apparently. The actual filter sent was the same filter I could have ordered directly from the manufacturer for $30 less. I ordered 2 filters. Their solutions were to refund me $15 only or for me to return the filters, during which I would have to pay shipping and also a 25% percent restock fee. And they didn't even have the filters in stock as a lady has to talk to their "supplier" when I called her. DO NOT use this company. And it took 2.5 to receive the items. Use anyone but this company. Total crap!

Hello David, like most other dealers of this product we drop ship direct from the MFG themselves. Also, like all other dealers of this product, we are contracted to sell no lower than a minimum price set by the MFG, which is what we are carrying them for on our website. We are not able to sell for the same price as the MFG, if we were to give you the same price as the MFG website we would have actually lost money on your purchase. We did however offer to credit you over half of the difference and save you $ in returning the product. The MFG also charges shipping on the website and would have been $192.53 after shipping to purchase through them - you paid $215.91 through our website, a $23.00 difference. We offered you an additional $15 off that so there is only an $8 difference which would save you money on returning the filters. It is the same filter, the MFG just changed the design so it's a different color. It operates exactly the same.

We purchased the SoftPro Elite system from Quality Water Treatment at their regular price of $1379, shortly before it went on sale for $1071. That didn't bother me at all. Sales come and go. At the same time that they lowered the price by $309, they also offered the "Quick Connect Hoses" for FREE, an advertised $130 value (Just pay $8.97 for shipping and handling). I ordered the "free" hoses, paid online with my credit card and then waited. And waited. After a few MONTHS, I phoned QWT to follow up on delivery of the hoses. They never did answer the phone or return my phone messages as promised on their voice recording. Rhea A, one of their sales team, did finally respond to one of our three emails and said that they, "...didn't fulfill that order as we don’t just send out free hoses..." We sent them a copy of their paid invoice showing we had purchased a system from them at full price just a little while before it went on sale, to which Heather P replied, "They were not an available option at your time of order which is why they weren't included..." Not only have they been impossible to speak with and have not sent us the advertised hoses, but they still haven't returned my $8.97 since cancelling my order back on 09/29/2021

While we certainly respect your opinion of your experience you seem to leave quite a few things out of your reviews.

1. You fail to mention that you came to the QWT site to purchase free hoses that clearly state on the product page that they are only free at the time of purchase on qualifying systems. Absolutely nowhere has it ever said free just pay to ship.

2. You fail to mention you tried to get the free hoses over 6 months after your original purchase of the unit from another website.

3. The website you purchased from is the Brand website and does not offer any add on's or free options.

4. You also failed to note that the price difference you actually saw was QWT's prices being lower than the site you purchased from. Nothing to do with QWT lowering our prices after we said we were raising them. We did in fact, raise them.

5. Your order confirmation would have come from and shown softprowatersystems as who you purchased from.

We also have a system that logs all calls, texts, and emails to your customer profile - I've found no calls or texts from you aside from two initial calls where you spoke with a customer service agent.

I did apologize in my direct email to you that our customer service team failed to credit you the shipping on the item and we've now credited it. However, if we contact every single person that tries to order the free hoses without purchasing a qualifying system at the same time we would be tied up all day simply doing that and we have support on actual systems to attend to which is why we have the notice on the product page that they are only available at time of purchase of qualify systems. Also why our standard policy is to immediately cancel and refund orders on hoses where there is no recent existing order that has not yet shipped. I understand our customer service team failed to follow this policy and this has been discussed with them and will not happen again.

We are glad you are happy with your softpro water softener. They are wonderful systems

Purchased a $2000 system in 2021. It arrived with both missing and broken parts. QWT was advised of the problems on a Friday. I followed up with them on the following Tuesday and was told that the replacement parts had been shipped the day before. This is now the following Friday and I have still not received the missing parts. Worse still, QWT thought that their service was just fine and that I (and 80 year old, wheel chair bound customer) was the problem because I did not open the boxes the day of delivery and check to see that all the parts were there and in good condition. Shame on me for waiting for a plumber to do that. Bad fullfilment. Bad service. Bad attidude.

We were assured that this was an easy install system. Not only is it going to cost an additional $2400 to install, but we received the kit with missing parts. Now we are being asked to prove we don't have the part. Due to the utter lack of customer service and good product, we now have to pay this company to send their product back on top of the 25% stocking fee. 100% would not recommend.
