Recently I started a lifestyle change that emphasize nutrition and exercise. I wasn't sure about what vitamins supplements I should purchase. One day I casually walked into a GNC store and was promptly greeted. I chatted up the salesperson, asking a few test questions. I didn't want to be aggressively sold products that were overly expensive or that I didn't need. Impressively, the young man engaged me in conversation and asked pointed questions. What really gain my trust was when he showed me some supplements information on the computer. I made a informed purchase that day and has made it a point to revisit this GNC store and salesperson every since. I applaud GNC for the hiring of knowledgeable, patient, respectful staff with integrity.

Be CAREFUL! DON'T waster your time and money at GNC!!! After I ordered online yesterday, I got an email informing me to pick up at the store. 1. They never informed me there was something they didn't have enough inventory. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been there (wasting time to pick up). 2. After they made this mistake, I showed the man in the store "Your order is ready for pickup!" and told him there was a mistake since the items in the bag didn't match with my order. Then, he just told me in a rude way "go to call the customer service". I said, "this is caused by GNC, not me. It should be your job to contact them to find out what is the issue". Then, he went away and didn't apologize for any inconvenience caused by this. 3. Then, I decided to cancel the order and contact customer service to cancel the order. The person replied "I have submitted a request to attempt to cancel your order, this is not a guarantee"! It is ridiculous that I ordered it yesterday, and I cancelled the order due to their problems inside GNC, and then they said they couldn't guarantee the order could be cancelled! 4. They wouldn't give you your reward points automatically for stuff you purchased, unless you contact the customer service, and then they will add it for you. Be CAREFUL! Due to the facts, I WOULD NEVER trust their products. Just look at the poor management and poor customer service! Will you trust a business like this? I wish I could give a ZERO star!

GNC is my favorite vitamin and supplement store to visit. The stores always have free samples of new or popular supplements and products. The products that are carried in stores are all high in popularity and quality. GNC also has its own line of generic supplements to compete with the more expensive brands. I also love the online store for GNC because it is just as awesome to use and often has deals and specials you can't get in the store. I am a rewards member and the rewards build up quickly and are always worth applying because they are coupons towards purchases you make.

GNC is on the high side in my opinion of vitamins and supplements, however they have a great selection and usually have what I need in stock. The staff are always knowledgeable about the supplements, and there are plenty of sample size items to test out and try before you commit to buying in bulk. They also have a great return policy. I purchased some diet pills that had a mild stimulant in it. I was sensitive to it and it caused me to have palpitations so I brought it back and even though I had already taken a couple of doses, I was given a full refund!

I really like our local GMC's, they have a super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I signed up AND PAID for their two boxes while I was in shop one day and was told that they will be shipped to me. Months go by and I haven’t received anything and so I go back into the store and ask why I haven’t ever received my first box. The guy told me that he must not have saved my address the first time so he needs my address again and assures me I will get it soon now. More months go by and so I call the store, a girl answers and I tell her what’s been going on and she says “oh yeah I’ve had lots of complaints about that, I spoke to my manager and she said since we have boxes in store you can come get one, I have already done for 2 other people this week.” So I say great and go to get it the next day. When I get to this store, a man doesn’t have any idea what I am talking about and tells me he can’t do that. So I told him I spoke to a girl at this specific store yesterday about this. So he calls her and she tells him what the manger has told her and he says okay and hangs up. He then looks at me and goes “yeah that just doesn’t sound right and I’ve been here a very long time, so I’m going to call that managers manager and see what he thinks.” So I continue waiting while he calls and this manger doesn’t authorize this transaction. So he looks at me and goes “yeah just as I thought you can’t have a box” WHAT. So I tell him everything that’s happened (WHICH IT HAS BEEN HIM THAT LAST TWO TIMES I HAVE COME IN HAVING ISSUES) and he goes “well we aren’t even doing this specific boxes anymore. I would just call corporate and speak to someone because I can’t see anything about the status of your boxes on my end.” So I leave and call the number he gave me. I explain to the rep on the phone my situation and he puts me on hold to see what the issue has been. He gets back on the line and says “I can offer you 300 points for all this trouble” I then asked what is 300 points worth? And he said $10 of any item. WHAT!!! When I paid for two boxes filled with items!?? I then had to go back and forth with him on how I don’t want that and I a only taking Two boxes or a full refund. He then says he can’t do either of those things. I finally get him to answer me when asking several times whose fault this is for me not getting my box and he said it was theirs and that he can see a box was never sent. I then asked to speak to a manager. He said oh I can have one call you back and I said no I want to speak to a superior right now. He then put me on hold. Once he got back on the line he said that he went ahead and approved me for the box. He then stated my first box would arrive in TWO WEEKS and then the second box would come around January. It has been EIGHT WEEKS since this conversation took place and STILL NO BOX!!! They are absolutely terrible and I will never spend another dime at GNC.

I get 2 boxes of the lean shake consume. A month ago I signed into my record and mentioned the auto conveyance is be sent early in light of the fact that I was coming up short on my shakes. bought two bottle of papaya enzyme and a Ener C multi pack. Because of covid 19 and being high risk I am staying at home so I ordered online. The two bottles of papaya enzyme they sent me were about to expire in 4 months (September 2021). The Ener C multi pack is the same with expiry soon (September 2021). I tried contacting customer service. Long story short they will not send a replacement to the about to expire products. I am so disappointed. A 20 YEAR CUSTOMER OF GNC ... AND YET When you walk into a store.... and are COMPLETELY ignored by the man working there chatting on the phone in indian..... talking to all ALLLLL of the (ps English speaking indian customers) in indian.... and you are standing there feeling uncomfortable and out of place after 7 min STRAIGHT of not even knowing what is being said in the store. U ask about a product, he barely looks your way and says no they dont have it, and continues to tend to the other clients in indian giving preferential treatment without offering another brand of the product. So? You leave. And you go to healthy planet where although many of the workers are diverse.... they greet you and speak to each other and others know English unless otherwise required by a non English speaking customer. What a joke. Never going to GNC brampton again

They make so many mistakes processing my auto-ships that I canceled them all and just deal with getting the vitamins by going to the store. When I tried to get help online, I was treated poorly. Ordered 5 items online early Dec 2017. Mid Dec received 3 of them, I called the customer service the reply was 'oh yes, the missing products were not in stock'. -- So no email, letter, phone call to inform their costumer. Then I mentioned I am going away in a week time and it is a gift and should take it with me. The reply was 'we will send you in 3 days'. -- 5 days passed, none received, called them, the reply was 'we can’t track it, we let you know' - !!! I misses the product, and caused my nephew a big disappointment. I trusted them and waited, I could simply buy it from H&B. Since then 4 emails, 3 phone calls (each time waiting more than 20 min), still have not received my money back. Irresponsible, useless costumer service.

I worked here in the early 90's. At that time, full-time hours were available and pay was decent. I wouldn't work there now as I understand no one but the manager gets full-time hours, pay has decreased and sales quotas have become mandatory, making employees push products customers don't need or want. Also, their mark-up rate on products is horrendous.

Not all products at GNC worked for me. In particular, the “fat burning” products did nothing to enhance my weight loss attempts. Creatine was great. Vitamins were great. But i found the thermogenics were not as effective for me as the sales rep claimed. For the price of those products, I expected a little more than what I got.
