FriendWithA makes it easy to join the platform and list items to be rented out. Sign-up is free and once verified, you can list your items. The platform will guide you through filling out item details, availability, and condition. You can even easily upload photos of items.

FriendWithA promotes your listings to thousands of potential renters. If someone wants to rent your item, booking and confirmation can be done with one click to arrange a convenient pick-up location. 

Insurance Protection

Lending out items to complete strangers may be scary for some, but to ease that concern FriendWithQ verifies users and renters. To use FriendWithA’s services renters are vetted and must provide a damage deposit to cover property up to $125,000. This platform insurance is available to all users when a transaction takes place.

Liability Protection

FriendWithA makes renters sign a liability waiver when borrowing sports gear or tools to make certain you aren’t held liable if a renter injures themself while using the item.

Referral Program

Users can earn money by referring family and friends to FriendWithA. After your referral makes a successful transaction, the referrer will receive a $20 referral fee and the referee will receive $10.

Location

Being near a big city gives users a better chance of being able to find gear to rent and finding renters to rent your gear. You can list virtually any item, but there are no guarantees FriendWithA will find a renter for you.

Bank Transfer Only

FriendWithA only allows one payment method: direct transfer. For users that want to use PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or cash, FriendWithA won’t be a viable option for you.

Commission Fee

Every time a rental exchange occurs, customers pay FriendWithA a commission fee. This fee varies, but it’s typically under 10 percent.
