CheapOair doesn't have many options available when it comes to rental car models. Most of the cars offered are economy class, which doesn't give customers the option to select a more luxurious vehicle if they would like to be a bit more comfortable during their ride.
CheapOair does offer a rewards plan to those who enroll in its membership program (enrollment is free and can be done entirely online), but there are some restrictions and a point system that travelers should be aware of. The point system is broken down as follows:

Don’t get me wrong. We love that CheapOair has 24/7 customer service. The issue is that, while getting immediate, human-based assistance for your problem, you may rack up some fees. It costs more money to book over the phone than through the website, as well as a few other things, like cancelations. Trips booked over the phone may incur bigger service fees.

The service charges may be much more if you book over the phone with customer support, or choose certain vacation packages, upgraded business class and first class fare, or plan on multi-city airfare trips. Fees are also subject to change.
CheapOair and its contractors charge a cancellation fee ranging from $100 to $250, making it very expensive to cancel bookings.
Most airline tickets available on CheapOair are non-refundable. It is up to the airline. If cancelation is approved, a credit can be put toward a future ticket. However, most of the time, this type of credit comes with an expiration date. So, if you don’t book within the proper time period, your refund is gone.
Additionally, most bookings and service fees are non-refundable after 24 hours.
Trip protection can be canceled within 10 days of purchase if your travel hasn’t happened.
Within 24 hours of booking, customers can cancel $50 for domestic flights, $75 for international, first class, or business class. After 24 hours, economy tickets cost $50 to cancel with a future credit, while business and first class tickets cost $100 to cancel with the rest being refunded to future credit.
If you don’t want credit for a future flight, the cancelation fee is $100 for domestic economy, and $250 for international economy flights and all business and first class tickets. Additionally, fees to change your tickets range from $100 to $250.
Special offers, discounts, or cancelation rates are available for a for military personnel, natural disasters, the bereaved, and the visually impaired.

I had a bad experience with website Three times tried to book my flight and of course out of frustration l made an error with my return flight . It’s so frustrating!!
Customer Service via telephone was extremely helpful, however after a month the price of the booking dropped severely AND flights were offered out of the airport that I preferred FLL instead of MIA in Florida. That aspect was disappointing.

Every time I've tried to use them, I can't find what I'm looking for and it's never at a good price.
CheapOAir is easy to view all the different options for air travel. However, I don't like that they suggest a bunch of different days that are not the days I entered into my search. Because of that, I've not ever ended up finding a deal good enough to purchase from them.

I wish I could rate this 0 stars!!! Immediately after booking, I called to change my flight to the next morning. There was a $50 fee- my card kept getting 'declined'. When I called my bank, they said there was absolutely no reason my card should be declining. When I called back right after, the fee to change had jumped to $80! The calls kept 'dropping', and each time I called back, the price jumped up again!! When I told them I wanted to change for the original $50 I had agreed to, they said there call center system was down even though I called back, reached a different agent, and- you guessed it- the system was working just fine! They refused to change my flight for less than $200, were SUPER unhelpful, and provided the WORST customer service I have EVER experienced!! Take your money elsewhere folks, and stay far FAR away from these scammers!!!!!!!
NEVER BOOK FLIGHTS WITH CHEAPOAIR! Immediately after buying the ticket I asked changing the return from 3 stops flight to 2 stops. NO WAY. Beside that they asked me $5797 to change one leg of the return of a $1350 flight a first time and then $7876, I finally discovered that they calling center is located in PAKISTAN!!!!! And the operators are using fake Western names!! No air company can detect on their system the fare for this ticket so no company could change this return! The ticket has been bought by those gangsters from some consolidator in a shady way. The customer service is pitiful and simply doesn't care about you once you have been scammed with the ticket purchase. AVOID!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!! I called to request a cancellation of a flight to replace with another cheaper flight that they advertised. They put me on to the cancellation dept. Instead of cancelling the flight they gave me an email which they said would arrange for me to be reimbursed the difference between what I paid and what was advertised after. When I sent the email I was told that CheapO was not covered by the company
Got overcharged almost $1000. Cheapoair called me the same day 2 times but I couldn’t pick up. No voicemail, text, email what they have on file! Nothing! 3 days later I noticed. Now I got told “We are working on it. You’ll receive a refund between 7 to 14 days” EXCUSE ME?! You’re using my money for almost two weeks! Not even trying to notify me! What is this?!

CheapOair. They would not give me back the money. They purchased a ticket without my approval and when I asked for the return of my money they treated it as a refund and said we do not refund tickets we can give you 70.00 off the 250.00 they took from me. I notified the bank they received information from Cheapoair as if it was a return and sent their policy to the bank they did not refund the money. I did not buy this ticket and was charged for it anyway. Cheapoair violated the law broke several more Federal laws, reached over borders and countries stole my money and my bank Suntrust assisted them in this crime.
I swear to God, This is the last time i will use the "help" of this rip off website. They know how to suck your money out of your bank. They are charging me hundreds of euros to change my flight and then when i ask to cancel my flight they wouldn't even give me a small percentage of what I have paid. BOOK YOUR FLIGHTS ON LASTMINUTE.COM! I found cheaper flights (no joke more than a 300 euro difference to the same destination on the same dates). Title of the review: cheapoair is a scam and a fraud company and one of the worst I have ever seen Briefly, Cheapoair is one of the worst companies I have ever seen. Customer service is below zero. The advisers were not nice to me and they did not do any effort to help me or to solve the problem. I will never book with this fraud company and will never recommend it to anyone. Description of the problem: I have booked a ticket to Lebanon from Montreal. My transit destination was in Nice-France. In the airport in Montreal, they told me that I cannot travel because I should have a "Schengen Visa" to pass through Nice-France. When I booked the ticket, there is no mention to a "Schengen Visa" on the website nor in any links. I contacted cheapoair and the advisers were very rude to me. Instead of proposing solutions or solve the problem, they were not responsive at all. Moreover, they send me emails with some links to check if I need a "Schengen Visa" or not. The links did not work and they send me to an empty page "page not found". Moreover, I tried to check if I need a "Schengen Visa" to pass through the airport in Nice-France to go to Lebanon. I checked the information on: -The European Union website: -France Visas website: -Schengen Visa Info: and nothing is written that I should have a Schengen Visa. And what made things worse is that the advisers told me that this is my problem and not their problem. Is it a good way to treat clients? I am asking cheapoair to reimburse me the whole tickets.
My wife just book a flight for my parents and our children's and she didn't realize they have to wait 6 and a half hours in the airport when she realizes that she calls them and explains the situation she just book the flight like 15 minutes ago and they want to change$ 75 for each ticket to cancel it in my opinion that is crazy she tries to change the flight and they want to charge extra $650 dollar and at this point they are not the friendliest we ask to talk to the supervisor and she isn't any better at costumer service we try to buy protection plan and they wont sell it at this point because is a risk the we may cancel the booking so heads up be sure to check the flight before paying anything otherwise you'll have a big headache by the way lady's name Berenice G
I've found some cheap flights through this company, and I love looking for deals using this company.
When I called cheap-o-air and request to change return flight (From SFO to HYD) change of date, they initially asked me an additional charge 311.23 and when I requested what are those charges, I didn't get proper answer from agent(His Name Milwin I think). He is saying $111.30 for airline penality including taxes and at first instance remaining amount is fare in difference and when I again ask him to explain this more elaborate about these charges, he said it’s cheap-o-air service fee. But this is more important for me to change the travel date, I don't like to pay the remaining $100 but I accepted and asked some discount, he gave $100 discount, sent this email below: As per our conversation and as agreed, we have made the changes to your Booking number: xxxxxx, with an additional charge of $211.30 USD per passenger, including airline penalty, difference in fare and fees. Total cost to change this itinerary including taxes and fees: $211.30 USD (Total for all passengers). And again after some time, he is saying you need to pay extra $134 and total fare is $335, at last I lost belief on the agent with his knowledge and asked him to connect to his higher official, he is not happy with that and he is deciding my character saying that "sir, basically you don't trust anyone", If I am correct deciding anyone's character is not his duty. I felt very bad about this and I shown my sadness, now he is talking even rude. I just want to talk with his higher official but he puts me on hold for long time(about 15 mins). I don’t know these charges I am paying are correct or not, but not happy with agent deciding my character. With this experience I don't think I will comeback and decided never book a ticket in cheap-o-air.

CheapOAir is a very difficult way to book flights. Their website and app are not user friendly, their customer service isn’t great, and there are lots of hidden costs. When I booked my flights, I kept having to re enter information, and I made a spelling error on a name. They charged my $50 to repair it, which I thought was ridiculous. Still, I give it 3 stars because, if you are will to go through the hassle, it is one of the cheapest ways to fly.
The site is kind of a nightmare to navigate, and wasn't built for ease of use. I compared it to other sites, and they weren't significantly cheaper, either.

I scheduled a trip through CheapOair for a flight with Spirit airlines from Tampa to Fort Lauderdale. I agreed to purchase a carry-on for $30. The night before my flight, I checked-in and realized Spirit did not receive notification from CheapOair that I paid for one checked baggage. I called CheapOair and rep I spoke to said he sees the error and will notify Spirit air to allow one carry-on. Within a few minutes, I receive a notification from my credit card that a new charge of $30 has been charged by CheapOair. I called CheapOair back and they said they know nothing about the new charge. I called my credit card to challenge the charge and they agreed to credit the $30 while they investigate with CheapOair. Avoid CheapOair and purchase tickets directly through the airlines.
