Greenville Technical College (GTC) was founded in 1962, and their focus was to work with employers to give students the skills they needed in order to qualify for good jobs and succeed in their careers. Their college isn't limited to one campus, they have several in Greenville County area with nine different locations.
Ohio Technical College was originally founded in 1969. It was first known by the name of the Ohio Diesel Mechanics School. It transformed over the years to cover multiple automotive and technical industries and areas of study. Today, Ohio Technical College is a private automative technical college based out of Cleveland, Ohio. There are roughly 1,500 enrolled students studying various automotive skills and techniques. The college continues to expand and has even been featured on the Weatherhead list of the 100 fastest growing companies in Northeast Ohio. Ohio Technical College has partnered and entered into multiple contracts with brands/companies such as: BMW, PowerSport Institute, and Edelbrock.
Broward Technical Colleges are a group of technical schools based in Florida. Between the three schools, Atlantic Technical College, McFatter Technical College, and Sheridan Technical College, over 60 programs are offered to high school and adult students. Broward Technical Colleges are accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education, AdvancED, and others, based on the program. However, its low cost tuition is only available to Florida residents who have been living in the state for a year or longer. Broward Technical Colleges do not offer degree programs but rather certificate programs that might transfer to additional academic credit.
Atlanta Technical College (ATC) was established in 1964 and originally enrolled adults in vocational education. At that time there were 24 occupational programs offered. Recently, ATC has produced many students that have been recognized by the state of Georgia. To name a couple, they have seven seven state GOAL (Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership) winners and four state PRIDE (Performance Recognition Indicating Demonstrated Excellence) winners.
