100% Money-Back Guarantee

Wesley Financial Group offers customers a money-back guarantee.

Once accepted as a client, you are covered by a money-back guarantee, which states that your timeshare will be terminated within the contractually agreed upon timeframe. The company's Service Agreement with each client determines with specificity the types of termination that will satisfy the guarantee.

If their timeshare ownership is not terminated during the contractually agreed upon timeframe, then WFG, upon written request from the client, will refund 100 percent of the fee that the client paid to Wesley Financial.

Straightforward Timeshare Exit Process

This timeshare exit company has a simple, transparent process, with four simple steps:

  1. First, a timeshare owner signs up for a free consultation.
  2. An Account Director is assigned to create a file and assist clients in having their account approved for guaranteed cancellation.
  3. Next, the Resolution Department will work around the clock to have the client's contract permanently terminated. Clients are assigned a single point of contact and will receive timely and regular updates from them on their account.
  4. The last step is clients being timeshare free. Once everything is sorted and the timeshare is canceled, clients will receive confirmation and can celebrate.

Personalized Customer Care

When you work with Wesley Financial Group, you are assigned a case manager to guide you throughout the process. No matter the industry, consumers appreciate having an actual person, whose name they know,  that is familiar with your situation to call or email, rather than just a hotline covered by all-purpose service agents.

Experienced Company Leadership

Wesley customers benefit from the company's expert leadership. Wesley Financial Group CEO Chuck McDowell is known as a pioneer of the timeshare advocacy industry. Born and raised in Tennessee, McDowell started his first company in 1982 and spent some time as a stockbroker. He later joined the insurance industry before becoming a sales representative for Wyndham Destinations — the world's most extensive vacation ownership and exchange company.

While working for Wyndham timeshare sales for less than a year, McDowell learned that the timeshare industry was not what he thought it was. He felt that the company encouraged deceitful tactics to get consumers to buy a timeshare. He left the industry to work for the opposing side, fighting for consumer rights.

Highlight: CEO Chuck McDowell stood up to Wyndham, the biggest timeshare company in the world.

Soon after leaving timeshare sales (and helping people get their money back), Wyndham Vacation Resorts, Inc. filed a $5.9 million lawsuit against McDowell. Against the odds, McDowell withstood the suit and won. It took a jury less than 20 minutes to side with McDowell in Federal Court.

To this day, McDowell continues to fight against timeshare fraud.

A timeshare obligation can quickly grow over time. The WFG website has a helpful calculator tool to help timeshare owners understand their growing maintenance fees.

The Bad

  • Prospective Client Vetting

Prospective Clients Vetting

Wesley Financial Group uses a thorough review process to vet prospective clients. Not everyone is accepted. Several factors determine the eligibility of each timeshare owner, including the following:

  • Which resort developer your timeshare agreement is with — WFG works to cancel timeshare contracts from over 300 timeshare companies and vacation ownership programs
  • What you were told during the timeshare sales pitch and signup process

Not everyone looking to get rid of an unwanted timeshare will be accepted as a client by this timeshare relief company.

Wesley Financial provided a process and guidance through the process to successfully exit my timeshare. Mercede, my assigned resolution specialist was helpful and responsive. She did what she said she would do. Early in the process, I learned I could have dealt with the timeshare company directly and achieved the same result. Since what was submitted to the timeshare company was my work, my experience and words, the fee I paid Wesley was money not well spent. Knowing what I know now, I would not recommend using Wesley or another timeshare exit company to "get out" of your timeshare. Call the company and ask for their exit department. The timeshare business is "in the toilet." Most companies have been sued enough and are willing to help you. In summary, it is my sincere hope that Mercede received a large portion of the fee I paid to Wesley.

Wesley Financial is a great company. The end result was what they promised: getting rid of the timeshare. We didn’t get a refund but we are rid of our timeshare and that was our main goal. I was a little disappointed that our case was cycled to at least three different resolution specialists. Each one had a unique way of dealing with our case and with us. Also, there were some times where calls and emails were not returned, which was frustrating. Overall, our final resolution specialist worked well with us and was excellent in communication. I would work with Wesley Financial again. I also recommended them to a friend who was successful in cancelling their timeshare.

I got off to a rocky start with this company, but as soon as the problem was ironed out, the procedure went smoothly. You may think you can do this on your own, but their guidance was essential. For example, after the timeshare company rejected my request to lower my payment to them, I was ready to go on and pay it. But, my advisor explained that this was normal and to give it another try. I did and my second request was accepted. Yes, it’s really expensive, but I am happy not to be saddled with something I wasn’t using and which was costing nearly $1000 annually.

Initially, I was happy with the progress and the service provided by the Wesley Financial Group. But after sixteen months, Ms. Taylor V became my account manager. Thanks to her, the process sped up, and the canceling of my timeshare only took four months under her guidance. My timeshare bled $25,000 from me, including the initial cost of a worthless timeshare and then twenty-six years of ever-increasing annual maintenance fees, which were at $695.00 in 2022.

My experience with Wesley Financial has been very rewarding. I have had excellent communication at every stage of the process. I would like to specifically recognize Brittany L whose energy and commitment gave me great confidence when I needed it most. She has given me excellent customer service and has always been available to answer any of my questions or concerns. If you are looking to get out of your timeshare, I would definitely recommend Wesley Financial Group.

We were very skeptical of timeshare cancellation companies. We had a bad experience about 10 years ago and haven't tried since but the maintenance fees alone were killing us so we decided to try Wesley Financial Group and although the fee is quite high and the process has been about 7 months so far we can finally see the light of getting released from our timeshare. Thank you to Katelynd and now Anamarie who is now handling the closure part. Once the credit department helps to restore our credit I will change this rating to 5 stars. Thank you Wesley Financial Group.

Beverly Difiore ,

The WFG. Helped me got out of a time share mortgage payment. Vistana was taking money out of my amex card for admin fees, mnt Fees and charging the card for whatever they felt. The WFG. Didn't get my money back but they helped me get this and it off my credit. They are also helping me get my credit score repaired. Their communication was Adequate for my case and they were flexible with payment. I did what they requested of my and they worked the rest. Overall I am happy with the results. It would have been nice to get the money back but I'm glad to have this behind me.

The experience was a bit cumbersome at first getting materials together But after that everything was great once they matched me to the best person for me. She kept in contact and always reassured me they were working to terminate my timeshare. They kept to the timeline discussed and in less than one year I am timeshare free. I highly recommend this company.

The people at Westley are very professional and good to work with. They always kept us informed as to what was going on. The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I felt we should of got some of our money back due to we Never used anything at all. Lost a lot of money but happy to be out of it all. An Expensive Lesson Learned !!! Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make this happen !

Got the job done. Took awhile but it is done. They did say they would keep us up to date, this did not happen. We could blame covid and possible short staffing for this, I do not know. Primarily, we are done with this time share and that is a good thing.

For the first 3 years it was sluggish. But once the case moved to Ms. Kristin K, things begun moving fast and I was free from the Timeshare very shortly afterwards. Thank you Kristin. Joseph Silberman

Great Experience! I must admit that I was a bit skeptical about contacting them as I thought I would get the run around just like the timeshare company. But much to my surprise Wesley Financial Group did their job.
