Giving you the option to buy all kinds of different tickets, especially sports tickets, TicketCity could be your go to source for events. TicketCity has been featured in publications such as Forbes, the New York Times, and even Sports Illustrated. Being in business for over two decades has made them a leader in ticket sales, as well as giving them the experience needed to provide amazing services for their customers. As if that wasn’t enough, TicketCity supports, and encourages their staff to support a wide range of charitable organizations.
- Great customer service
- Lower service fees
- Electronic ticket options
Customer service with TicketCity has said to be exceptional. If you desperately need a refund, they will work with you to resell your tickets on consignment. Once those tickets sell they are happy to give you money back. Be advised that this procedure means that you will get 90% of what the tickets sell for, and they will keep 10% to cover the charges for the credit card transaction. Being willing to work with the people on a case by case basis tells us that this company truly cares about their customers. Their service fees are also quite low compared to many other companies we have reviewed. The representative did inform us that service fees are chosen by the suppliers of each ticket. However, he did share the information that most tickets only have a 20% to 25% service fee added, and very rarely is it more. Another fantastic benefit to buying tickets from this company is that they will electronically send you your tickets for free, as well as sending them to you via Fed Ex for free. They have a department specifically to deal with large corporate ticket sales.
- Cannot sell tickets
- No rewards program
If you are looking for a way to sell tickets, you will be disappointed with TicketCity. At this point in time, they do not have any option for consumers to sell tickets. TicketCity has a large network of professional suppliers of tickets and would prefer to be a secondary ticket seller for professional suppliers at this time. There isn't any rewards program, or other detailed features in the personal accounts and although they do have an active presence on social media they still do not have a mobile app.
The Bottom Line
We think this should be one of the top companies you consider to buy your tickets from. Being able to have friendly customer service that cares about your situation, can make all the difference in the world when you do business with them. With their low service fees and free shipping options, you can't go wrong in our opinion. We also feel that this would be a good place for corporate purchases.
