iYogi touts itself as "the world's most loved tech support brand," according to its website. The company was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in New York City. iYogi provides tech support for personal, business, and enterprise levels and have 3 million users across 11 countries.
iYogi includes a free 30-day trial for home use. All the signup requires is a name, email, and phone number.
iYogi offers a variety of plans for business and home use. Business uses involve plans that can serve over 25 PC's or Mac's and offers services such as asset management, data backup & recovery, cloud backup, and more.
iYogi provides services for a plethora of devices. The following is a list of the devices we could find on their website:
In late 2015, iYogi was sued by the state of Washington for allegedly pressuring consumers into buying software they didn't need. The charges were called unfair and deceptive that violate the Washington Consumer Protection Act. President Vishal Dhar has labeled the accusations as "false and baseless" and defended iYogi as a company focused on customer service that addresses a genuine need.
From what we were able to gather, iYogi does not charge for tech support on a month-to-month or one-time-fix basis. Customers for home use must purchase an annual plan that can be renewed the following year for a lower price. Those who want iYogi for business use must contact iYogi to retrieve a quote.
I have had iyogi technical support for almost a year now and they have helped me get multiple problems figured out......no matter when I call them. They are courteous and helpful.
