RankSpeed is a social media tool that specializes primarily in sentiment analysis for Twitter accounts. However, they do provide consumers with a few other services like real time brand monitoring for Facebook, Blogs, Forums, and Twitter. They do not display a telephone, location, or any background information about their company online.
RankSpeed provides users the ability to sift quickly through data (can filter through 3 million topics and 500,000 categories) throughout the web and sort out the good and positive information relating to the user's business, as well as the negative. RankSpeed displays a sentiment analysis on each user's dashboard in an easy to read format.
They provide a free app to Hootsuite users called RankSpeed. It is free and it allows consumers who are avid Twitter users to have a more controlled system. RankSpeed's app performs sentiment analysis and topic categorization. Consumers will have a Twitter home stream that categorizes tweets into specific topics, for example; positive tweets about your brand and negative tweets. Once again, it a free app and it's only for Hootsuite subscribers.
RankSpeed gives developers the option to user their API (RankSpeed Topic Classification API). All they will have to do is send in a request, directly from their website, for contact regarding API.
- No printable analytics or reports
- Company information
- No mobile app
- Limited accounts
- Lack of customer support
They do not provide any printable analytics and/or reports. There were no advertised reporting capabilities. RankSpeed also does not provide image editing or image storage. They do not provide real time management over posts and comments.
There is very little-to-no background information about this company anywhere online, which almost leads us to believe they may not be in business anymore. They do not display a phone number or a headquarter location. They are not on LinkedIn, and their Twitter has only 26 followers and has been inactive for over two years. This is concerning because it either shows that they no longer exist, or they have an extreme lack of transparency.
RankSpeed currently does not have a mobile app for iOS or Android.
The highest amount of accounts a user can link is 20. This is a very small amount compared to most of their competitors.
Their customer service/support is non-existent.
The Bottom Line
If you are interested in sentiment analysis for your Twitter feed, RankSpeed may be worth looking into. However, if you are looking to get more out of a social media tool, we suggest looking somewhere else. RankSpeed specializes primarily in sentiment analysis for Twitter. They do not provide reports and their customer service is very hard to get in touch with; they do not provide a telephone number, live chat, or email - you have to submit a request directly from their website and wait for a response. Very little information is made known to the public about this company. For these reasons, we do not recommend RankSpeed at this time.
