The Good
- Visualization features
- Monitoring
- Specialized plans
- Reports
- Partnership
NUVI's dashboard has some great visualization features that have been described as "impressive" and "beautiful." It provides actionable insights in real time, visual support to client meetings or strategy sessions, immediate feedback on all events and campaigns, exposure to new trending concepts and breaking news, and knowledgeable insight on where the focus should lie.
Customers are not only able to monitor keywords; they can also monitor URLs, usernames, hashtags, groups, topics, and more. You can also monitor 24 different languages together or individually.
Although they do not offer plans to individuals, they offer specialized plans to small companies, athletes, celebrities, non-profits, big name brands, news, media, universities, politics, agencies, and k-12 schools.
NUVI provides users with clean, accurate, and detailed reports. Their reports can be converted to printable PDFs so you can share your results with others. All reports are interactive and come with email summaries to make sharing easy.
They are in partnership with Business Wire, which gives NUVI's customers the ability to send press releases through their Global Social Mobile Measurable distribution circuit. They can then see how far the message was spread, who the main influencers were that share and/or commented on the message, and where the message was being shared.

The Bad
- Transparency
- Platform limitations
- No mobile app
NUVI does not disclose their pricing model. Each plan is customizable to the business they cater to; so each plan's pricing varies from company to company. They do not offer plans for individuals.
They do not offer the option to connect to LinkedIn, Google Plus, Foursquare, Flickr, Tumblr, and a few others. The only social media platforms they support are Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram. However, there is a note on their website that states the following:
"NUVI is in the process of adding more social networks to the Channels Dashboards. Ultimately, NUVI will be the one-stop-shop for managing, posting, analyzing, and reporting on all the activity across your various social profiles."
They do not provide consumers with an app for Android or iOS.
In summary, here are our concerns with Nuvi:
- Lack of transparent information
- No mobile app
- Relatively new to the industry
- Assumed high prices

The Bottom Line
NUVI has some of the most impressive features out of all of the social media tools that were investigated. Their analytic reports are some of the best in the industry, and their visualization features are hard to beat. They only support Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram; but they state on their website that they are currently in the process of adding more social networks to their Channels Dashboards. Unfortunately, they do not disclose their pricing and a few other important aspects we needed to compare to other companies. We suggest requesting a demo or a free trial from them. If they are affordable, NUVI is definitely worth looking into.
