The Good

  • Plans
  • Access to millions of profiles
  • Tracking
  • Data exports
  • Clientele
  • Multiple languages
Klear provides consumers with three different plans to choose from, besides the customizable Enterprise plans. These three plans are all fair priced and give consumers the option to choose a plan that will fit their budget. The cheapest plan is $99 per month, and all plans come with a 14 day free trial. Users will have access to 200 million full social profiles, including their metrics, content analysis, audience demographics, network breakdown, and more. They can also opt in to receive alerts on what's working for competitors, new opportunities, updates, and more. Klear users are given the ability to track keywords, hashtag, campaigns and events. They can also get actionable insights and measurable ROI information. All data and metrics can be exported to a CSV or Excel file. They also have several other data integrations for reporting. However, their reporting is slightly limited in comparison to their competitors' reporting capabilities. Klear has an impressive clientele including IMG, Stanford University, McKinsey & Company, MSLGroup, Nike, Microsoft, Moz, and more. They are also partners with both Nimble and Hootsuite. They support English, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Espanol, and Portuguese languages.

The Bad

  • Specialization in Twitter analytics
  • No image editing or storage
  • No mobile app
  • Time in business
This tool primarily specializes in Twitter analytics, meaning their Facebook and Instagram metrics are not very useful. They basically only track likes and followers for Facebook, which is not worth the monthly price. They do not provide any image editing or image storage. They also do not provide consumers with a mobile app for iOS or Android at this time. Klear was founded in 2012, so they have only been in business for around 3 years. They are fairly newer to the industry than most of their competitors.

The Bottom Line

Klear is best used for Twitter monitoring, and isn't worth looking into for anything else. They do not provide real time management, customer support, images editing or storage, mobile App for iOS or Android, and their reporting is limited. If you are looking for more than just Twitter monitoring, we suggest looking at our top recommended social media tool companies.
