eBay gives both businesses and individuals the option to buy and sell online. They also boast being able to have people receive and send digital payments through PayPal. Not only just a place to buy and sell, they also offer commerce, retailing and digital marketing for their merchants. This is one of the largest online shopping places you can find to date. With more than 700 million products listed, you can find nearly anything your heart desires.
We love that there are so many sorting fields for each product which help narrow down what you are looking for. The fact that they have been in business for almost 20 years successfully is also a good thing in our opinion. This is also not just a place to buy items, but you can sell your own if you choose as well. Being able to bid on items sometimes means that you can get extremely good deals. The Buy it Now option also lets you bypass all the waiting that is done through auctioning, though be advised that you may pay a higher price to get it right then than if you participated in an auction.
We really wish there was a way to compare products side by side, but with the variety of products being sold and by so many different people, this might not be something they will ever be able to offer. There are also no product reviews available. The wide range of products being sold and many of them from individuals instead of merchants might make this hard, but it would be a nice feature.
Ebay is hard to judge. It is easy to find good deals but difficult to verify if the product received is legit or a fraud. That is why I do most of my shopping on Amazon. It seems like a more reliable place to get genuine product.
I love all of the random things you can find on ebay, it makes having a niche hobby a lot easier to find my collectibles.
I have always been pleased with the random things I can find and the great prices I get them for.
I have been able to find several unusual items on this site. It have a wide variety of products.
I am a newby to eBay. I haven't really ever used it until jusy recently. I've found things there I've never found anywhere else.
When shopping on eBay, I had a very easy experience and found items at more competitive prices. It’s a very user friendly shopping search engine.
eBay is basically the best thing out there for internet shopping. While others exist, eBay has channelled great retailers, wholesalers, and individual non-business sellers onto one great online platform. That platform is intuitive and helps guide you to what is important to you- cost, condition, quantity, etc. It helps find exactly what you need or want in clothing, household goods, collectibles, everything! And you can use most payment types and use all kinds of eBay rewards. Making things even cheaper ! Super smart to use eBay for online shopping.
This is hit and miss for me. Some stuff is over priced. I do however like the large selection available.
I shop on Ebay really often and they always surprise me with how much they have. They never let me down.
eBay is an amazing and easy way to buy and sell clothes and anything else. They offer an amazing platform for customers to communicate to other customers to allow an easy process for people to buy and sell anything from clothes to furniture.
I feel like it is hard to find reliable sources that aren’t sketchy on eBay. I have had a few successes, but you must be careful.
Sometimes eBay is a little confusing to see when searching just because of the multiple ads everywhere
eBay is not that great. They have weird products and never what I’m looking for.
I want to like eBay more! The biggest issue for me having been a buyer and seller on eBay is trust. It was nice to feel that eBay was on my side once in a while as a seller when I really wasn't at fault and I felt that buyers were trying to take advantage of me, but I realized that the masses (buyers) could be incredibly vulnerable with sellers who refused to comply with issues. There was just a sense of less security and confidence with eBay from a buyer perspective that I haven't been able to shake for years. If they rebranded a bit and made policies more buyer-centric (maybe they have by now but I haven't been back since), I think they could be a much stronger e-commerce competitor.
eBay isn’t the best shopping search engine. They don’t have very many options or a good variety of items.
They have cool stuff but it’s hard to use. I can get a lot of that stuff new for around the same price.
Could be great if you are not wanting to pay full price. However, there are some scammers so be sure to read everything in full.
I use ebay often to shop for things I don't want to just go out and get. Shipping is quick and the website is very convenient.
I wouldn’t trust stuff on here every now and then you can get what you actually bought
I think eBay is a great legitimate company that works to keep its customers, treat their customers well, and do their best to keep customers happy and coming back. It's one of the few who do that in online shopping.
I have found some fascinating items while shopping on ebay. It's like a virtual thrift store.
Sometimes I find good prices. Sometimes it’s trashy products. I wonder if people sell drugs on there.
I've purchased several items from ebay over the years. It is exactly what it claims to be and the products I've purchased have arrived quickly and exactly as advertised. Good company.
This is usually my first go to site when shopping, especially for bulk type items. Always easy to use and find just what I am looking for
Use to really enjoy using this website but sometimes shipping can take a really long time. Still good when looking for cheap items.
Not a huge fan of Ebay. I ordered four things from Ebay and I got an order confirmation, but no shipping information. I waited it out and eventually I had to contact the sender. They had ran out of the products and had no intention of letting me know. The items I ended up by broke a week later.
I have used eBay a couple of times, and I find that the prices are more than amazon, even for the same item. Also, there are times when shipping is not free, which is why I prefer Amazon Prime more.
I have not used in a few years but the ability to pay what you want for a product is unique model and lets the customer spend on their terms.
Ebay is a good way to find items online at a discount, but you ALWAYS want to make sure that the seller is legitimate, because there are often counterfeit items being sold on ebay. Overall, it's not a bad way to find items that often can't be found in other places, like antiques or collector's items, but you generally have to go in knowing what you're looking for, and being willing to watch and wait for it to come on the market.
They have so many different products! I really like the rating system on ebay because it gives you a good idea of who to trust and who to avoid.
Ebay is the go to place for hard to find items. Alot of sellers sell on ebay which makes it good for buyers looking to buy. The prices are competitive but i do not like the ebay fees involved.
I've ordered a few things off of eBay and have had generally good experiences. I like that you can view the seller's reputation and I will never purchase something from someone that has a bad rep.
I love finding random junk on Ebay. If you dig deep enough, you can find the most obscure items and it's pretty rad.
I’ve both shopped and bought on Ebay and would highly recommend doing both. Not only is it another trusted venue to shop for things online, it’s also a unique and fun way to buy and sell- bidding on auctioned items.
We have used eBay many times and have been satisfied without exception. They offer good pricing for both new and used merchandise and there seems to be no end to what items they offer on-line. Their customer service has been good.
I use Ebay on a regular basis. I have found many things that I could not afford from other sites. I really like the eBay guarantee. They will help you if you have a problem with a seller.
I like the searches but I spend alot of time sifting through the irrelevant items to get to what I want. It is a cool place to find the stuff that is hard to find but not easy to search through the mountains of data.
eBay is great. You can still find deals if you look hard and be patient. They can be a little cumbersome on the customer service side sometimes so don't expect an amazing experience there.
eBay has some great deals and a huge selection of products. You just have to be careful about shipping costs because that can increase the price of a product dramatically.
ebay is easy to find things from sellers and is pretty comprehensive. no complaints
Ebay is the original buying auction website, it has been around since the 1990s I believe and you can find some really cool, hard to find items on here that you're not going to find on other websites like Amazon.
I love selling my stuff on ebay! It is reliable and quick. I usually sell my items within a few weeks of posting!
I love eBay for selling my items. Whenever I need to get rid of something I can use eBay to make a quick buck. I make a lot of money from this which is very convenient.
I've ordered and sold a few things on Ebay. I've always had a good experience! We even sold an old car. Its my go to when I when something is out of stock. Most likely I can find it on ebay.
I love eBay so much. It’s so easy to buy and sell items as they take all the work and do it them selves.
Best place to find literally anything you could ever need. Watch for scams though and try to be as thorough as possible !
Love ebay! Shopping via ebay's search turns up tons of options and the best feature is you can sort them by price!

I used eBay to buy a lot of figure skating dresses for exhibitions I performed in, and it was always a great site to find a lot of options. Figure skating dresses are not very common, but eBay did have a large selection for a great price, which made finding dresses so much easier!
Can always find a great deal for what you're looking for if you are willing to search. Even better bargains if you buy used.
I've always had a poor experience the few times I've shopped via eBay. I'd "win" the bidding war for an item, and the seller would never send the item. Unfortunately, my money had already been sent, and I lost about $50. I contacted eBay multiple times, but they were difficult to work with and I ended up never getting my money back. There are great items on there, but I would recommend looking elsewhere before purchasing on eBay.
