Since I am a senior citizen and I would like things done a bit more simpler and would prefer to tailor my own television choices and eliminate many that I just do not want and lower my costs.

Jeffrey Hoshour ,

Xfinity provides broadband internet with only ONE other competitor in my area, and with that being said, they've almost got a monopoly on the internet service in my area. I was on a promotional service subs at the end of the promotion I was never advised that the term ended and I was on autopay, and my charges DOUBLED from $60/mo to $120/mo! I came over day from work and my internet was down. I looked into WHY, and that's when I seen I had been getting charged double for over A YEAR! My internet was suspended because I didn't have the funds in my bank account to cover DOUBLE charges (first time in long time I was low on account balance). I called them immediately and they told me that after the promotion was over I was incurring regular rates, however, she told me I could sign back on a promotion to save money, I said only if they'd give me SOME type of credit back from all the money I had been paying extra for past year and a half, and she said no. I advised then that I no longer wanted their services and to cancel my services. I paid the outstanding bill that night. Two months later I receive a bill for 2 more months service. THEY NEVER CANCELLED MY SERVICES, AND I WAS USING MOBILE DATA FROM CELL PHONE TO HOTSPOT MY LAPTOP AND APPARENTLY IT WAS STILL USING DATA FROM XFINITY, THEY APPARENTLY TURNED MY SERVICES BACK ON AFTER I PAID (THOUGHT I PAID) FINAL BILL THE NIGHT I REQUESTED CANCELLATION. I never thought to check and see where my connection was coming from when on laptop, I turned my hotspot on and assumed it was feeding my laptop data, NOT. I've got to pay for the services they failed to turn off. I'll NEVER use a company again that have these type of business ethics.

I switched equipment from Comcast to my own and they still helped with some technical issues. Their internet is great either no interruptions and speed is good.

I would give it no stars, but I have to give it at least one. Got talked into Xfinity, Installers did terrible sloppy job left wires hanging out of wall, did not work properly from start. after third call to Comcast the charged me $56.00 + for service call. They offer 30 day money back if not satisfied. I complained, and customer service shut off my TV and Internet while I was on the phone with them, and my phones about an hour later. Comcast would not let me have my phone numbers (which I had for 30 years back) unless I restarted service with them. I went without phones, TV, or internet for a month. Finally I had to start service (on paper only) before I could port my numbers to ATT. After many hours of calls to Comcast, and six months of promises, I got my initial money back. I will probably assault the next Comcast salesman that shows up at my door.

Good programing and reliability is excellent for both TV and internet. Pricing is high and customer service is horrendous! Takes a long time to access a human and navigate all of their phone menus - and then the wait begins...……..

Sometimes the tv shows freeze up and I miss what I’m watching. Also I have had the internet go out for hours and there has been no storms. But the picture comes through good.

We have the Super Package with TV, internet and phone. Its very frustrating to be paying as much as we do and not having the option to simply delete from our channel line up those "included channels" that we NEVER watch or that are duplicates.

What I like about this company is the way the app allows you to know if there are outages in our area and if they are working on lines. They also give you an estimated times when they finish.

Comcast provided a mediocre service. The television and programming was ok. However they continually raised their prices. They also refused to lower them. When I left Comcast cable, they were charging $142 a month. I started in at only $92 a month for cable and internet. This also wasn’t including a DVR. It’s much cheaper to go with a streaming service. Hulu and YouTube tv have been wonderful so far and a heck of a lot cheaper!

An absolutely awful company. If i didn't have to have Comcast, i wouldn't but it's the only internet service provider in my area and I hate it. I looked into every other option before settling for this awful company and I say that because I KNOW that once we get further and further into having the service, the longer that we have it the more RANDOM hidden fees will start popping up out of nowhere and b/c we're using automatic payments so that we can have a $10 discount on our bill every month, we won't notice those fees until they really start to rack up and that's how this company uses you. They also try really desperately to get you to use other services and products so that they can tack that on to your bill as well. Its happened for as long as I've had Comcast, which is why theyre trying to rebrand and go by Xfinity to take the sting off of the company from all of the negative customer reviews.

I had Xfinity TV a couple of years back, the service and content were wonderful. However, my only issues were with the prices of their plans. Mostly because there would increase our plan cost every year until it was just not worth it anymore.

Internet service is spotty in stated speed and in availability. I had an ongoing complaint about service availability and was repeatedly told to restart the system. Finally, after 2 1/2 months a technician was sent out and discovered the service line was faulty. It was replaced, but to date it is still not buried.

Good variety of channels. But prices is a little to high for one tv. If you get additional tvs then it adds to the monthly fee and sometimes not all channels or services are available for the extra tvs

When Comcast came out with TV/computer/bundle it was a fabulous price. They have deleted cable channels and dropped premium channels off my premium package. If you want that channel you have to add it separately with additional cost. Cables cost has gotten so bad I could buy an economy vehicle with what I pay. I hear Apple is coming out with Apple-FI I can’t wait I don’t care if I have time left on my contract with Comcast. That’s another thing any time you make any change they extend your CONTRACT for 2 YEARS!!! Something wrong with that.

Comcast has essentially cornered the market in my area. There is no other option for internet or tv. They're great when they're working, but we have random periods where our service is slowed down to absurd levels. Then the prices were raised too. I've since dropped their tv but still use them for internet

Comcast tv is very expensive compared to other options available to watch and enjoy tv. Expect your monthly bill to hit $200 once the promotional deal is done. Their cable laid unburied in my yard for TWO YEARS!!! Customer service was a joke. Even their paid service contractors didn't seem to like Comcast very much. Do yourself a favor and buy a ROKU instead.

Comcast is nice in that they're available everywhere and their prices are generally comparable. But for me, that's where their goodness ends. They lost me when canceling service was hard during a move, and when their leaders supported blocking net neutrality.

Comcast offers a good variety of options when it comes to cable TV. The reliability of their services is okay but not perfect. We have also found that they raise their pricing without notice which is frustrating. Their customer service also seems a bit "hit and miss" depending on what particular individual you are dealing with.
