About Me

Howdy! If you're reading this, we've probably worked together on a professional level, so I want to tell you a bit about myself personally. Like most people, I've lived a lot of different lives in my life. I've had adventures, lived all over the world, made music and art, and best of all, been lucky in love. As I write this, I live in upstate New York with my wife, our son, and a baby on the way. I found my way into solar through my family. Over the past 20 years, literally every member of my immediate family has worked in solar in one way or another. We all share a belief that, If you've gotta work for your money, you might as well do some good while you're at it. Of course there's no shortage of big problems in the world that need solving. But in my opinion, the biggest of all is transitioning our energy supply from fossil fuels to sustainable, clean energy. I spend most of my day talking with homeowners about their bills, and lowering their expenses - which is important and I'm happy to help. But the reason I work for Sunrun is because I believe together we're helping to save the world. It's not an overstatement to say that the single biggest impact you can make as a homeowner is to generate your own electricity from your roof. Yes, you can become a vegetarian (and you probably should), but going solar is easier and won't ruin your dinner parties. So if you haven't yet, I hope you go solar.
