Formerly known as dapulse (the company rebranded in 2017), Monday.com is a cloud-based online collaboration platform. This project management software allows a flexible and transparent way for businesses to organize their everyday processes and projects.

Transparent Pricing

Monday.com’s pricing is based on two variables: the feature plan and the number of users.

There are four plan options: The Basic, The Standard, The Pro, and The Enterprise.

As you may have guessed, the more expensive the plan, the more features you get. But more expensive doesn’t necessarily mean its right for your team. 

  • The Basic plan costs $8 per user per month and is best suited for small teams who want to streamline their work with ease. 
  • The Standard plan is Monday.com’s most popular plan. It costs $10 per user per month. This plan is best for a single team. 
  • The Pro plan costs $16 per user per month and is best for teams who want to streamline and control complex workflows and operations. 
  • The Enterprise plan will require customers to contact the company for a quote but is best for organizations seeking enterprise-grade (tactical and strategic) projects and workflow management. 

Available Discounts

Monday.com offers several discounts depending on the situation. As stated on the website, there is an 18 percent discount on annual plans. 

Monday.com also offers discounted pricing for qualified non-profit organizations. Monday.com simply asks that interested organizations fill out the online form. Once the form is complete, Monday.com will reply with the applicable discount offers. 

Refunds

Monday.com is relatively flexible with refunds. Users who have paid for a yearly account within the last 30 days may contact the company and request a full refund. 

However, keep in mind that past the 30 day refund period, all subscription fees are non-refundable and non-cancelable. For more detailed information regarding refunds, we suggest customers read Monday.com’s Terms of Service.

Monday.com’s Frequently Asked Questions page is impressive. Not only does the page include its customers' most common questions, but it provides additional information such as replies, views, and activity. 

Now, not everyone will be as excited as we are about a well fleshed-out FAQ section but hear us out (this extra information is beneficial to both current and prospective customers and Monday.com).

Each frequently asked question includes the number of replies, views, and the date when the article was last edited. The reply section is important as it reveals to customers and company representatives if the question has been answered. If there are multiple replies, it shows a discussion between the customer (or multiple customers) and a Monday.com representative. 

The views section is significant (especially to the company) as it shows where customers are struggling with the software. The more views a question has, the more likely it means customers are having a hard time understanding the process. So when making updates, Monday.com can keep in mind these particular questions and make the necessary changes to make the process easier for users.

Lastly, the activity section is important since it shows when either a customer or Monday.com employee posted on the question. 

Something else unique to Monday.com’s frequently asked questions page is the search filter. Users can either search a question by applying a tag to the search or viewing the latest or top questions. Monday.com’s pricing structure can be frustrating for customers as it charges a set of users (rather than by individual users). For example, if you have six users, you’ll have to pay the pricing plan for ten users. 

No Free Plan

Unfortunately, Monday.com does not offer a free plan (something a lot of its competitors do). The company does offer a free 14-day trial; however, this may not be enough time for users to test out all the platform’s capabilities.

Monday.com is a fairly robust and efficient project management platform. The software is easy to use and designed for complete visibility between team members. Monday.com is transparent with their pricing, even though it’s not the cheapest option. Some users may find themselves frustrated with Monday.com’s pricing structure and prices since it doesn’t allow businesses to pay by user. However, the company does offer a 30-day refund period if you’re not happy with the software.
