The Good

  • Streamlined Ordering Process
  • Smartwatch App
  • Specializes in Restaurants
  • Additional Features

Streamlined Ordering Process

POSbistro focuses solely on restaurants, so its service is geared toward helping speed up the day-to-day processes of the food service industry. On its website, POSbistro outlines the most efficient way to use its technology: waiters take customer food orders from a tablet or customers self order from a kiosk, the kitchen staff immediately sees that order and works to fill it, the waiter is notified, and a quicker transaction process helps customers finish up quickly. POSbistro knows that the faster this process goes, the more customers can be fed, filled, and kept happy — and that’s really the purpose of a restaurant.

Smartwatch App

Perhaps because it is a newer company, POSbistro has a smartwatch app for business owners who want to serve customers faster than ever before.

Specializes in Restaurants

POSbistro doesn’t spread itself too thin by focusing on a wide range of retailers and industries; it has been helping restaurants exclusively from the beginning.

Additional Features

POSbistro offers a great user experience, in the food industry, a good pos software is essential. Not only for the menu, experience, inventory or customer lifetime value, it's important to have a POS system that is more than a system to accept payments. Integrated management is also a big factor, especially when it comes to enabling resturaunt customer service.

The Bad

  • Not Many Integrations

Not Many Integrations

Though a POS system that offers any integration is a good thing, POSbistro doesn’t offer as many helpful integrations as other POS services. According to the company website, it offers only five integrations and doesn’t integrate with any accounting apps like Quickbooks. POSbistro’s integrations are as follows:

  • Elavon
  • Paymax
  • UpMenu
  • Kekemeke
  • KWHotel

The Bottom Line

POSbistro, while it doesn’t offer extensive integrations, has all of the makings of a quality company. Its thoughtful streamlining of restaurant workflow through its POS technology shows that the company is aware of customer needs. As long as customers are okay with the few integrations, we see no reason why restaurant owners shouldn’t consider POSbistro.
