PupLife’s innovative Green Policy promotes eco-friendly products and processes that are better for dogs and the planet. PupLife boasts that its site was one of the first websites to launch an Eco-Friendly Dog Supplies section.

This helps to eliminate carbon waste and reduce the shipping footprint by 50%.  

Pet owners will be pleased to hear that PupLife offers free shipping on all continental U.S. orders. This is an excellent feature for pet owners who are purchasing larger items. PupLife ships via USPS (First Class or Priority Mail), UPS Ground, and Federal Express Ground.

For dog owners wanting some health tips, training tips, or a buyers guide, PupLife has numerous articles in each category. Whether customers are looking for the best way to treat an older dog with arthritis, train your dog to sleep in a crate or choose the right chew toy for their pup, customers can expect to find an article giving detailed and helpful information. 

Lupine Collars 

PupLife offers Lupine dog collars, leashes, and harnesses. Lupine dog collars are guaranteed for life. No matter if it’s dirty, chewed, or completely destroyed. All customers need to do is mail the collar to the Lupine headquarters, send the following information: name, mail address, email, and phone number. There is no need to send the original receipt. Customers should then receive a free replacement.

Shipping Limitations

Even though there are some great things about PupLife green shipping, there are some limitations that customers should take into consideration. First, PupLife does not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or outside the U.S. They also do not ship to Army Post Offices (APO) or Fleet Post Offices (FPOs) at this time. PupLife boasts that most of its products ship out of the warehouse on the same day or at the latest 48 hours. However, there are some exceptions:

  • Dog Beds (3-5 days)
  • Dog Tags (3-5 days)
  • Personalized Dog Bowls (2-3 weeks)
  • Personalized Dog Collars (2-3 weeks)

Also, customers should know that orders with multiple products with different manufacturers may ship in various packages, and they might arrive on different days. Currently, customers do not have the option for expedited shipping. For customers that change their mind and want to cancel their order, they can if it has not already shipped. However, there will be a $5 processing fee to cover the transaction costs. The fee will be deducted from the refund. 

Returns and Exhanges

Returns for PupLife dog products must be unused and within 30 days of the date of purchase. If the item is returned after the 30 days, the refund will not be issued. Personalized items (engraved dog tags and collars) are not returnable and Outlet Sale items are final sale. Customers should also note that there is a 20% return processing fee and PupLife does not pay for return shipping. PupLife does not do exchanges. Customers will have to return the unwanted/unused item and then place a new order. 

Missing Products

PupLife is missing a few products that many other online pet stores offer. For one, the company has very few products of food or pet medications available. They provide dog treats, but not food. This lack of essential products would take PupLife out of the running for an all-in-one pet shopping experience.


The Bottom Line

Overall, PupLife has a large variety of high-quality products for dogs. The family-owned company puts time and effort into what goes on their site and the products being sold there can easily be trusted. They also provide a good base for dog care information and a blog to feel connected with the dog parent life. While they do not have the best return policies, they do provide quality products and contribute to the environment's health with their Green Policy. Dog parents would most likely have a positive experience finding quality products at PupLife.

Order two sizes, same coat, same color. Both colors were wrong. All attempts to contact them have been ignored. Their mistake, their problem and where I would have exchanged it for another, now, will never buy from them and tell others the same based on my experience.
