Pet Supermarket is a pet supply store that offers premium pet food and quality pet supplies. The business offers products for cats, dogs, reptiles, birds and other small animals, along with several in-store services. Pet parents can expect high-quality preventative care with Pet Supermarket’s VIP Petcare and teachers can apply for a Classroom Pet Grant.
Pet Supermarket retail locations offer VIP Petcare with no appointment needed. Whether it is for a cat or dog, customers can expect high-quality preventative care. Merely visit a Pet Supermarket retail location during the clinic hours and VIP Petcare will help determine the needs of a pet and possibly recommend veterinary care. Pet owners can keep their pets updated on vaccinations, microchipping, diagnostic tests and prescription flea, tick and heartworm preventative medication. Some locations even offer nail trimming services.
A licensed veterinarian administers all services.
Pet Supermarket customers can earn 1 point for every dollar they spend on eligible products. After accumulating 100 points, Pet Supermarket will issue a $5 award to the next purchase. The $5 award is then credited to the VIP customer account, available the next day. A VIP membership is free.
Teachers seeking a classroom pet can apply for a Pets in the Classroom Rebate Grant. Teachers can choose from a hamster, bunny, guinea pig, or an aquarium, the grants include up to $160 in supplies. Teachers can reapply for a $50 sustaining grant each fall.

Pet Supermarket does have products for dogs, cats, reptiles, fish and other small animals. However, the variety of brands for each product seems limited.
While the VIP Reward program is useful for customers, the Pet Supermarket reward program has some stipulations that customers might want to consider:
Pet Supermarket doesn’t have an Auto-Ship program. This feature is handy for pet owners who are consistently buying pet food and other pet products.
My local store employees are efficient but not terribly friendly. The main downfall is their website. I have tried searching for several products and ended up ordering elsewhere. Search for "paw balm", "paw lotion", "paw medication" and I get every brand name, food, litter with the word "paws" in it. Absolutely nothing about paw balm which is on the can that I bought from them. Worked great and needed more, ordered elsewhere. Terrible search engine for many products.
Very easy to find items. workers here friendly and the atmosphere was amazing.
I have actually only ordered once from this site and it was because I had a discount deal and a code for free shipping. while on the site I did see that the items that I was likely to purchase were a little more that another site that I use more often. im sure I will use this site again but only if I can find a discount code for the items I need.
