The Bad

  • Cannot Purchase Items Online
  • Only Located in California

Cannot Purchase Items Online

One of the biggest downfalls to Pet Food Express is its lack of an online shopping feature. Pet owners can see what products are available and prices, but cannot purchase them online and have them delivered. This can be a major inconvenience for those who don’t live in close proximity to a store, those unable to leave home, or those who prefer the convenience of online shopping.

Only Located in California

Pet Food Express is solely available to those living in the Bay Area.

The Bottom Line

Pet Food Express is a useful pet product store for those living in the Bay Area. The company offers specific dog and cat food brands, and other small animal, reptile, and bird products. However, there is no way to purchase any of the products online, and the company does not have any retail locations outside of California.

Barbara Guilford, CT

Hello, I was feeding my cats Darwin's Raw Feline Food for about 5 to 6 months, when I received a January 19th, 2019 shipment of food that made my cat extremely ill. He ended up spending 11 days in the hospital because Darwin's Raw Food contained Eccollus Bacteria in it and this nearly killed him. This experience has forever changed my kitty, as he is still recovering from this experience and I have lost nearly three weeks of my life to extreme stress and hardship. Darwin's refuses to take any responsibility for my kitty's illness and they have treated me poorly since I reported the sickness to them.
