In May-2020, I agree to the services with trust and expectations of Active being experts at their job. It is now November-2020 and I have not seen a decrease in pests as promised. I called into customer service to express these concerns and to request a cancellation of their services. The representative/customer experience personnel became rude after hear the complaint saying in a condescending tone, "well how come you never called before?" After going back and forth for about 5 minutes, I asked again for the services to be cancelled. The agent continued to offer alternatives for the services to be performed again. Expressed my confusion as to how repeating the service would make a difference in results. The agent abruptly stated, "you have to give the time to work", rudely cutting me off. These services started in MAY... again, it's now NOVEMBER, how much longer do I wait for results?? That's poor services and I am not getting the experiences I was promised. I shouldn't have to pay for something I am not getting! I kindly asked for a manger, supervisor, or even corporate. The agent mentioned that she's the person who handles these types of situations and could not give my any contacts for corporate. Again... Poor! I am not happy about this. Even if I do not get my refund as requested, I want people to know about my experience here.

The technicians are very friendly and seem to know what they are doing. The scheduling is awful, I need more than 12 hours notice so I can move everything in my garage to the middle. The automated scheduling system changes scheduled appointments at random and needs to be locked down and controlled by humans. The products being used, don’t seem to last very long like they did when I first started getting serviced.

outside of home service was as expected. but thats half of what we wanted. called aptive C/S in the morning to confirm appointment and asked about inside treatment. was informed the individual performing the services would ask for the inside treatment if wanted. individual performed the outside as usual and was about to leave in vehicle when asked about the inside he said make an appointment. now have to wait.

Homeowner Beware! Aptive Environmental schedules extra services outside the quarterly services and CHARGES the customer for those. Not only that, but they confirmed the extra service was a mistake and promptly charged for it the same day even after I, the customer, called in and complained. Aptive did not send their reminder call or email (which is part of the contract) which was what alerted me this extra service was a mistake. When I called in and spoke to their customer service about it they confirmed the extra service was in error and that they had already come out the month before. But they still had the nerve to charge for that AFTER I called in and complained. Unbelievable! So when I called in on day 2 after noticing the charge and asked to talk to a manager, they said the manager was busy. They said they would refund it and a manager would call me, but no manager ever called me back just like the day before. Also I had a note on my account from the year before that alerts them not to autodraft my account and they have honored it in the past, but of course not this time! Not only this, but their pesticides never got rid of the ants! The technician said that he is hearing the same complaint from many customers in the neighborhood! The pest control service does not take care of lawn ants. Even when they used a higher concentration of product, the ants just persist. No additional treatments over the last year ever took care of the ant problem. They do not care about the customer. When you request to have a MANAGER call you back to talk about the issues, no one ever calls you. The reason I asked for a manager is the reoccurring issues. The customer service reps are kind and understanding, but cannot help to prevent future issues, as the same issues are reoccurring. And no manager cares enough to give you a call when you request a call to discuss.

When your technician first introduced himself, I specifically told him that I had a rat problem. I was really unconcerned about anything else. First time anyone came, they asked for access to my basement, where these rodents have made their home. I'm not sure what they did, because I wasn't with them. Since that day, back in the early part of summer, I haven't seen anyone come around, but I have received 2 invoices for services apparently rendered. Today, I have been home until about 12:15pm, busy doing work in my garage. It appears that someone must have come by, because when I opened my front door, there was what appears to be the remnant of a spider web hanging from the upper door post. Needless to say that I AM NOT IMPRESSED WITH YOUR SERVICES.

Unethical and unfair company - Due to financial and personal circumstances I requested Aptive people not to do the service in May/2020, during quarantine for Covid19. Instead of re-scheduling the service to the next month, they sent me the invoice for the early cancellation for $249. Last month, I got a letter from A.R.M. collection company to pay $249, and the collection company reported to credit bureau. Due to this, my credit point dipped by more than 50 points It is very disappointing and heartbreaking that Aptive has gone this far during this pandemic time. I had requested them to hold on to the service for few months due to the financial circumstances, and they came after me unfairly charging for the entire year as early cancellation fee for extending the service for just one month during national emergency and even reported to collection company. The collection company A.R.M. further reported to credit bureau. I talked to collection company regarding paying off my balance and and requested them to remove the collection record from the credit bureau. And collection did not even acknowledge that they had reported to bureau. My question to them was, how could I trust them to get that report removed after the payment if they don't even acknowledge reporting to the bureau on the first place. I do not have any other choice but to report it. I hope they are not doing this unfair and unethical practices with other families during this tough time.

My husband called to cancel services in May and the person on their end didn't even out notes in the system to cancel us out. Just to be informed that we are being charge because they said they sent someone out to our home without our consent and trespassed into our backyard. Some called today asking for a cc expiration number and for payment. In the end after my husband explained everything the lady whom stated she was a manager said she couldn't wave the fee. Not only could she not help us, but she sounded loopy like she was on drugs. She was slurring her speech and stated that she would send the bill to collection and hung up on my husband. I will never recommend this company. The guys don't spray all over and they don't clean the webs like they are supposed too. We are calling BBB.

We signed on with them for almost 9 months. We gave them a fair chance to get rid of our pet problems. They sold a good deal, but did not wear proper face masks or social distancing (I signed on in March of 2020). They billed the amount they quoted us, and during the times they said. No issues on billing so far, but that might change as I am on the phone with them to cancel right now. We know they showed up once to our house during the 4 times scheduled. This was during the pandemic so our house had someone at it 24/7 and no one showed up but when we complained we were seeing ant mounds (we did not see those with ABC pest control). The did not treat the property saying they do not cover mice, snakes, or chiggers. I was told they did when we signed on to the contract. I had planned to tough it out for the year to try them out. HOWEVER, I cannot deal with inaction and lies from a company charging me money.

I am very upset with Aptive again. I am paying for service that is only done half way. This is the second time the technician didn't do what was asked. I called and asked to be given a 30 min heads up, didn't happen. I asked to have the webbing cleared out in the garage, not done. I asked to have the traps replaced in the garage, not done. I asked the service department to put it in the notes so that the tech would know what to do. I am considering canceling this service because I do not enjoy paying for half the work. The tech didn't even let us know that he was done with the servicing. This is very frustrating and this isn't the first time. I am close to giving 1 star on Google reviews next.

ALERT/WARNING to anyone: I had my last service last week and unfortunately the technician who performed the service stole my watch from my night stand. Is is very unfortunate that you cannot trust a person from a company for 10 minutes while they walk around your house (I was not able to follow him all the time). Stealing is not fun for anyone specially when you call in more than 5 times to ask to set a record and talk to a manager and you get various set of answers. The manager finally (very professional) called me 3 business days later to ask me about the incident. Still up until today no clear answer on what will happen or how are they going to respond to this incident. I can go on an on.

recent technician did very poor job. I request to take a look into crawl space . at first he hesitate to go into crawl space to check rodent activity. I have told him there is rodent activity and prior all technician went to crawl space plus they put trap as well this guy did go down in crawl space and he did not look closely .i told him there few trap place to catch rodent did you see anything. he replied there is no trap the after he gone I took a look and i see trap is there I also told him to check any potential in and out way of rodent around house and he replied he have to cover another 20 house so he have to go after this. he did not for check any tunnel or possible hole around house. very very dissatisfied this time

Seemed fine, the only thing I would ask is that next time he closes the gates as he walks around the property. Those gates are closed for a reason, to keep the dogs in the yard. If they were closed to start, they should be the same way when he exits.

The website never lets me review the technician to give them the $5 bonus which is annoying, but it will let me review the main business. That's suspicious and takes off another star. On 2020-09-25 at 12:06 PM PDT I received an email with the subject "Completed Service" from the technician. I have full surveillance on my property and I can assure that my property was not serviced. Shortly after around I received another email at 3:24 PM PDT with a charge for the quarterly service. This was very disappointing to be lied to about a service I did not receive but also being charged for it. I have already called and lodged a complaint but wanted to also wanted to share my experience of my 1st quarterly service as a new first time 2 year contract Aptive customer. I am very disappointed and will require any tech who services my address to request permission before any work is performed so that I can be certain I'm getting the service I am paying for.

Quick, easy, convenient sign up process. However, the technician that arrived today did not seem knowledgeable or was very forthcoming about exactly what he was doing or how it was going to help. A big spider remains in plain sight outside on the sliding door I sit next to, so I question how thorough he was during the service.

Having major issue getting any servicing between major servicing...was supposed to get a follow up major service within a month of the first service...nope. Scheduled multiple follow ups to have bait traps checked and refilled - got one of those since July. Not once have there been any communication as to why I am not getting the follow up service that I was told I would get.
