The Bad

  • Customer Service
  • Site Navigation

Customer Service

Open Public Records does not provide a lot of contact information. You have the option to contact them through their “Contact Us” page, which only allows your to contact them by submitting a form on their website. It would be beneficial for their customers to have access to their phone number and email address.

Site Navigation

While they have many search option functions, their site is a little confusing to navigate. It could be a little more streamlined to find all of their service features. Open Public Records could benefit from a website redesign.

The Bottom Line

Open Public Records was design to provide information to people from public records nationwide. They offer reasonable monthly prices and helpful search features. They cover all 50 states, so no matter where you live in United States you will be able to access all public records. However, the lack of customer service and poor site navigation might make it difficult for you to find what you are looking for.

Open Public Records is a great resource to find info on backgrounds. Services are reasonable and information is abundant. This helped us better investigate potential employees and ensure that info provided was valid. An excellent resource to keep hiring and verifying information on potential new hires.
