Customer's Voice

Bringing business online has changed how business is done. Business can now market online, share information, process orders, and stay connected with customers online. Another crucial aspect to a business's digital footprint is customer reviews. Costumer reviews can be left on a company's website, if allowed by the company, on social media platforms, on forums, and many other locations. To what extent can these reviews help/hurt a business?

Inc. reported that:

  • 89% of consumers viewed online sources of product and service reviews as trustworthy
  • 80% have changed their minds about a purchase based soly on the negative reviews
  • A one-star difference for a restaurant can impact revenue by 5-9%

Real customer reviews influence other customer's trust in a company. Robly reported that 60 to 80 percent of potential customers used online reviews before buying a product or service.

To illustrate the power of a real customer reviews, take a look from this review by Janette while reviewing Medical Guardian:

I researched many medical alert services and Medical Guardian best fit my mother's needs. They were extremely accommodating, the equipment was easy to use and it gave our family peace of mind that the fall indicator necklace would activate even if mom was not able to push the alert button. The unit had a much larger receiving area than most others on the market. I also was impressed with the level of training of the response team members. As it turned out mom was only able to stay in her home about two months after beginning use of the monitor. There was no trouble with returning the equipment, no contract fee and I quickly received a refund of the prorated unused time since I had paid for a year in advance. This company was extremely professional. One note, be sure to keep all of the packing material when the equipment is received so it is easy to return the equipment when the time comes.

bestcompany.com aims to continue to provide valuable reviews heavily influenced by customers reviews. We feel that our platform gives customers a voice coupled with a fair and balanced review to help consumers make the best purchases. A customer's voice has an increased volume and is gaining the attention of both companies and potential customers.
