The technician did NOT call ahead of time which was expected. I was given a time frame of 7am-9am which was super early IF we were his first customer. But he did arrive about 8am and was out of here in a flash after replacing the two windows.

Balantine was extremely nice and very professional. Knowledgeable technician. The door is still rattling although it's not as bad as it was. I still don't think it should rattle at all for the amount of money we paid. What I do intent to do is monitor it, so if it gets worse which I am sure it will, I will be calling you back to fix it again or we will have to work out some kind of compromise. A customer should NOT have to put up with poor workmanship and I really believe this door is defective. I think you should replace it but I guess I'll have to live with it for now. Like I said I will be contacting you again when it starts rattling bad again, which I am sure it will. Balantine was great! No problems with him at all, but when you have what I think is a defective product even your best tech isn't going to fix it right. Very Disappointed Customers, Ed and Patty Jorgensen

The repair guys were thorough in their explanation of the way the doors work. The rattle of the lock rods is annoying, and the door doesn't glide as expected for the price but they advised that the door is working properly.

When I told Julianna the online questions would not allow me to continue unless I put a number in that I did not have, she told me to try again and that she was very busy with other cases. When I told her I was calling about an ongoing problem with glass, she was able to help. Problem resolved, but not the best customer service.

We put windows in our upstairs bathroom twenty years ago. A bird broke one of them, and Milgard came and fixed it for free! It was relatively quick and easy. That was great! Now if they only made energy efficient wood windows, that would be even better!

I initiated contact in mid August, your response was slow, then you sent me a notice that I could fix it myself. NOT Possible, the counter-spring cable had broken, Then you gave a date, then you said that the repair was 'more than expected', canceled the date and set a new date in December. I have always bragged about your service in response to issues, I will no longer do that. August to December is just NOT PROMPT SERVICE.

We were delighted with Andy's expertise in fixing our windows so they would open more than 8 in. We were disappointed that he felt that our picture window was okay, but we told him that there was moisture between the panes when it rained. So that remains unfixed.

The service tec. said he would get new locking devises that lock pushing the lever up. Instead they came locking down. your service tec. that came yesterday did not know this. He also gave me a song and dance about how the up stairs door was working as it should, except for the fact it never closed hard before and non of the other four doors close hard either.

I had installed my windows and had several issues with my order including missing pieces and improperly installed items on the windows themselves. I call for service and it took more than six months for them to come out and fix the issues. They kept delaying my service and eveytime the next available appointment was two months later. They were unapologetic and seemed like they could care less about my service. On top of it the screens that were supposed to come with my windows and were incorrect needed to be stained along with the windows. Because of this horrid delay I had to get the windows stained and now have screens that are not stained and will have to pay more to get them stained.

I called for a evaluation of a newly installed window. The contractor said that it didn't slide correctly because it appeared that the wheels were not installed on one of the panels. I passed this information on to Milgard and asked if they could send someone out to inspect and install the wheels. I passed on the information regarding the wheels. When the tech arrived, took the window out, and saw that there were no wheels on the left slider, he said that the wheels were not installed at the factory and that he would have to order them. I now have to wait for the wheels to be shipped, and then call the contractor to install them. I believe the issue could have been resolved if the wheels were ordered and brought with the Milgard Tech first time he came out. The window was installed August 13, 2018. Milgard Tech inspected the window September 18, 2018. The replacement wheels have not arrived as of September 24, 2018.

We had defective windows installed on October 24th. They could not be cleaned, they were always smeared. It took several calls and service people to some out, finally figuring out the low E was on the wrong side. July 16th they replaced all the windows.
