JBloom Designs is a direct sales catalog jewelry company formerly known as U Design Jewelry. The company was originally co-founded by Jennifer and Bret Bonacorsi in 2004. Jennifer is a former special education teacher who started the company while looking for a way to make money as a stay-at-home mother. Bret is the former National Account Manager for Nestle USA. JBloom offer high-quality crafted jewelry with personalized hand stamped options and interchangeable pieces.
Distributors sell the company's products mainly through catalogs and in-home demonstration parties. JBloom is an active member of the Direct Selling Association. The annual global revenue of the company is currently unknown. The company's headquarters are located in St. Charles, Missouri.
Independent distributors through JBloom Designs sell personalized jewelry at two hour in-home demonstration parties. Hostesses can earn Bloom Bucks redeemable towards product purchases and half-priced items based on overall sales volume.
Free shipping is available for hostesses with at least three party orders. Hostesses are able to receive up to 25 percent of party sales in free jewelry, up to 70 percent on exclusive Hostess items, and one to four items at up to 50 percent off. They are also able to earn an additional 40 percent off items or parties booked at their own party.
Rewards can be used to purchase an independent distributor Starter Kit. A $1,000 sales volume party is sufficient to pay for the kit. Distributors who sell $1,200 worth of jewelry at retail price are eligible to earn $100 towards the purchase of more jewelry.
Customers can personalize their jewelry with a number of options. Customers can select writing style, font, and symbols to be etched.
A free downloadable PDF is available on the direct-selling company's website with the available choices. The company also offers examples of personalized design ideas through a short video. Monthly specials can also be found on the company's website.
The company also features eleven color awareness ribbons to support specific causes. These ribbons are available with or without charms and are attached to a stunning stainless steel necklace.
These make great gifts as reminders of hope no matter what challenge one is facing. JBloom Designs shares stories from past customers showcasing real-life stories from consumers who have purchased the jewelry and the impact the company has had on individuals. JBloom donates $10 for each necklace sold to two specific charities.
One charity cause is Basket of Hope. This organization provides assistance to newly diagnosed children and their families who are affected by cancer or other serious illness. Basket of Hope delivers inspirational materials that nourish these individuals mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
The second cause that JBloom Designs supports is an organization called Connections to Success. This nonprofit organization works to break the poverty cycle for individuals through hope, resources, and a developed plan.
The cost to join as an Independent Distributor may be expensive for some consumers. The initial cost is $199 for a Starter Kit. This is a higher startup cost than other similar competing companies in the industry. However, the kits contain over $400 worth of jewelry.
The company does not provide any information regarding its business opportunity other than the initial cost and what is included in the kit. $100 worth of business support materials are listed as being part of the kits, but there are no specific details concerning what these materials are.
There is no information online regarding the company's compensation plan. The company could do so much better by providing more transparency regarding this information.
It does not appear that the company provides much in the way of sales and marketing training other than a personal sponsor and business tools.
Multi-level companies similar to this often have new distributors contact all their family and friends to purchase products or join the company as a new team member. this will only take a new distributor so far and should not be relied on for business success. To succeed in these types of multi-level marketing opportunities, advanced sales, and marketing training is of utmost importance in order to achieve higher sales rank levels.
Individuals without this advanced training are more likely to fail with six months of joining. These individuals will want to consider pursuing advance sales and marketing training on their own or search for a similar direct sales opportunity that provides this business education.
The company shows a map of independent distributors by the state on the company website. States show a range of 0-58 distributors depending on the region. These numbers are very low for a company that has been around for 10+ years. Since you are required to have a sponsor upon joining, it is reasonable to believe that one may not be in your local area.
This makes it difficult to get adequate party sales training an individual needs upon starting a new business venture.
Do not order from this company. The necklace I ordered was personalized and looks awful. The letters and antler stamp are so small, it looks funny. They will not return my emails. Will never purchase from this company again. The hoop earring look like a dollar store purchase.

There are a LOT of inaccuracies in this review. I don't know how old this review is, but I just started the company with a $99 starter kit. I would like more details about each piece in the catalog, but that is why they have home parties to see the jewelry up close. There is extensive training to those that enroll and support. Any questions should be directed to a representative or the company and not from this review page.
Awesome owners and on trend products. Very fu.mn company to sell for.
I was with this company for literally two weeks. I had three customers called us either jewelry fell apart and discolored. Personalizing is great but quality is better

Attended a party and ordered gifts for granddaughters' birthdays 3 weeks later. I was told my order would arrive in 5 to 7 days. It has been 3 and 1/2 weeks and I still have not received the order. Sadly, I did not get the gifts in time for their birthdays. NO EXCUSE for such lousy customer service. Apparently selling products and making money is more important than good customer service.
Wonderful company, great communications! I love all my JBloom jewelry! Can't say enough good things about this company.
