The Good

  • Signup Process
  • Business Tools
  • Commissions and Bonuses

Signup Process

To join AlureVe's business opportunity, consumers must provide their country of origin and email address through a form on the company's website. Consumers must then choose one of six starter kits and one more than thirty-five monthly autoship options. Individuals do not need to have a sponsor in order to sign up as a new distributor; if a consumer does not know an already-enrolled sponsor, the company will assign one to them.

Business Tools

AlureVe provides its distributors with a personal replicated website, a business tracking system, and an easy-to-follow training system that includes videos and other marketing materials.

Commissions and Bonuses

Independent distributors are given eight ways to generate income with AlureVe. For example, as distributors sell the product line, they pocket the difference between wholesale and retail prices.

Preferred customer orders result in 25 percent commissions. Binary commissions consist of 20 percent group volume on each individual pay leg and check-matching bonuses of up to 20 percent are available from personally sponsored distributors. Sponsor bonuses can also be earned for every starter kit a distributor sells.

Leadership and upline pools are available at higher sales ranks.

The Bad

  • Relatively High Upfront Costs
  • Unclear Training
  • Tricky Compensation Plan

Relatively High Upfront Costs

AlureVe's starter kits range from $305 to $645, which is higher than industry average. In addition, distributors are required to select an autoship package when they sign up, which can be a financial strain for some individuals. Consumers with limited budgets may want to consider pursuing an alternative business opportunity.

Unclear Training

AlureVe has not clearly stated what kind of business training it provides to its distributors. Statistically, distributors who do not have a background in sales or marketing fail within the first three to six months of starting their business venture. Individuals who do not have sales or marketing experience may want to consider pursuing training on their own.

Tricky Compensation Plan

The company's compensation plan, which includes both unilevel and binary aspects, can be a bit tricky and difficult to understand. Distributors do not receive commissions on personal volume and customer sales volume is considered to be its own category. Independent distributors must have an active distributor on both legs under the binary portion of the compensation plan in order to earn monthly commissions. Distributors on both sides must generate 50 PV on a monthly basis in order to be considered active with the company.

The Bottom Line

AlureVe is a new beauty and skin care company with only one year of experience in the industry. The signup process is simple and distributors have access to several business tools. Additionally, the company offers multiple different commissions and bonuses. However, the upfront cost to join AlureVe is relatively high and it is unclear what kind of training the company provides to its distributors.
