I started having bizarre allergies where my tongue would just swell up and sometimes even my throat. When that happened, I needed to be taken to the ER. Since I live alone, my children wanted me to have something in case that kept happening so I could be protected. I have the wrist watch and the neck pendant and I think they're both good. I also have the bigger unit that I take with me when I have to go out. I usually wear the necklace when I'm in my house. I haven't used the device yet, but I feel comfortable having it around. Whenever I do my test, they are quick to pick up. It's reassuring to know that they help is there.

Several of my friends have it and since it seemed like it served their needs rather well I thought it'd be good for me too. I think I've only called them once for an armband that I wanted and I haven't received it as of yet. I'm still pleased with them though. The button has gone off by accident several times. On one occasion I was over at a friend's place and we were playing cards. She leaned against the table and that set off my system. The ambulance went to her house and everything. She set it off once again but we were able to abort the alarm the second time so things went well. The system worked as it needed to.

I looked at the advertisements of several services and they gave me just what I wanted. At the time I just didn't have anyone else around to help me and, on two occasions, I actually fell and had to wait a long time before somebody actually came along to help me out. With MobileHelp, they would know if I fell and would make sure that I was ok if anything happened. It also had the best price around. Their people have been very helpful and nice. I haven't used it yet, thank goodness, but I wear it all the time, including when I walk out to my yard or when I'm out and about. I also have the one that goes right around my neck, I like having them both. I never go out without it and keep it right next to me when I sleep. There's also another piece that I keep in my living room. It gives me a sense of safety that I just didn't have before. It's there if need it and I feel more at ease than before.

I got it for my wife and I because I liked a lot of the features and things that they included. They have a lock box so that emergency people can get in without breaking down my door. I also liked the speaker system since we can have one of the units in the bedroom and another one in the main living room area. Along with that they also gave me the fall detection button, a regular pendant, and the watch. Both my my wife and I use it. She is disabled and has fallen a couple of times so I was afraid that if I wasn't home she would be in danger. I usually use one when I'm working out in the shop since I work with a lot of power tools. The devices are easy to use. The fall pendant has a magnetic latch so it can't strangle you or hurt you. It's very easy to pull it off your neck without hurting yourself. I check it once a month as it was recommended and I've set it off accidentally too. They always respond within 20 or 30 seconds of pressing the button. It's an easy system to deal with. There's almost no maintenance needed for the speaker and I really appreciate that. The documentation that they include is great too, it made the setup very easy. Customer support has been very helpful whenever we've needed them, but we really haven't had many reasons to call them. Having it makes me feel safer. It gives me peace of mind.

My husband is on the early stages of Alzheimer's so I wanted to get something he could use to call for help if something happened. He doesn't know how to dial 911 anymore, so we needed something that was simple for him to use when I'm not around. That was the driving force behind us getting it. He has the little necklace and the button that he carries in his pocket. All he has to do is push the button and someone is going to be able to talk to him immediately and help him if something happens. I wear it too. Since it has GPS I have it with me all the time when I'm away from home, even if my husband is with me. If I need help for myself or for him I can just push the button and they will be able to find me and talk with me if something is wrong. Thank goodness I haven't had to use it, though there have been times when I've set it off accidentally when I'm working in our yard. It's just amazing how quickly they pick up the phone or call me back to see if we're ok. Somebody will always come and give us assistance. I think it's a very good service, especially for women who are the primary care takers for their husbands. I believe we don't really think about our own safety until something happens and then it's too late. With this it is really simple to get help. The booklets that they send you are very easy to understand, even for someone like me who is no good with computers. Even setting it up and testing it is just very easy. I'm quite happy with that. Everything they told me when I first called them to ask about the service has been very accurate. I thought it was going to be more expensive than what it has been for the kind of protection that it provides us. I'm pleased with the price and the fact that I can pay for three months at a time. It gives me some comfort to know that they'll be there to talk to me pretty quickly. I have all the confidence in the world that it will work.

They offered the features that my dad needed. When we called the customer service representative was very helpful and had a lot of knowledge. They were very kind and patient when answering our questions. My dad has used it once, though it wasn't necessarily for a medical emergency. He was out driving and the bridge that he usually crosses over was closed that time. Since he has no cellphone and he couldn't find his way, he used his device. The representative actually guided him to where he needed to go and he arrived to his destination. They are just excellent! Everyone there is just very helpful and patient. I'm very happy that my dad agreed to get this device and I'm really glad that his experiences with them have been positive. It's well worth the money and we're all very pleased with it. Overall it's a very effective service.

I just went and read reviews online. To be honest I didn't research much, but I picked them from the top reviewed services and I'm really glad I did. I'm very pleased with them. I usually put the sign they gave me on my door. That way when I leave I don't forget to take the base thing with me. The equipment itself is very light, which is very important since I wear it around my neck. It's so light that I don't even notice that it's there. There was a time I had to use it when I fell in my apartment. I was on the floor and couldn't get up so I called them. Even though I was pretty far away from the little machine the lady that came on was able to hear me and I could hear her. In 5 minutes they were in my apartment to help me. They were very nice and everything just happened very quickly and efficiently. That quickness is very important, especially if you have a heart attack or something like that. It works really great.

I read a magazine ad where it just sounded like a good service. I talked to them and it seemed like they had the best price for what you got out of it, so I decided to go ahead and switch. I haven't had it for very long so I haven't used it, but I always wear the button around my neck. It's very lightweight and easy to carry it around. If I go out then I take the handheld one with me. I always have to remember to take that one out with me and put it in my purse, but if I have it I'm covered when I'm out. Actually, they gave me a little reminder that I put on my doorknob, so I see it when I'm going out and I always remember to take it. I had problems with my previous service since the alarm would go off on its own, but I haven't run into that with this one. Customer support also helped me work out the best payment plan for me. I pay for 6 months in advance and I get a better price with different options. I'm very happy about that.

The way they advertised it informed my choice. I tend to travel, and I wanted something that would help me not feel isolated. I wondered if it would definitely work, because I depend on it. It happened that I had the device in my purse. Something put pressure on the button, and they called me, so that convinced me: oh yes, this works. They are quick to respond and I appreciate that. The system works for me and what I need it for. I don't have to be at home. I do a lot of gardening in my back yard, and I worried about how far I should be from the device while it was inside at home. If I walk my granddaughter to school, I put the portable device in my pocket, or it could attach on my belt loop. I have the other devices with a bracelet or around my neck, so we walk to school and I'm not concerned. This is such a pressure reliever. I can walk to school and come back, and all along it's like somebody else is walking along with me. Somebody has my back in case something happens. I've already recommended it to friends.

I didn't really do a lot of shopping around. I just saw their add in the AARP magazine and decided to get it. So far I haven't had any problems, but I haven't had to use it. I've accidentally dropped the device and I've gotten a quick response from them. It is a really touchy instrument you know. I've gone to put it on my night stand and set off the alarm that way. I've got to be really careful with it. I don't feel like I'm getting my money's worth since I can't wear it at night for fear of setting it off when I roll over. When that happens they call me and I'm really glad they do that instead of calling 911 right away. I don't want to alert the fire department or the police department if there's no emergency.

I went with it since I liked the plan and the way that it worked. The device works really quickly too, it connects me to the people that can help me really quick. There was one time when my house was filling with smoke in the morning. I called them for help and they got the fire department and the paramedics out to my house. It turned that because of a draft, the wood stove was just filling my house with smoke but there was no fire. So, they helped me clear the smoke and everything. They were quick, accurate, and very nice. They're just very careful and get you the help that you need. I really enjoy having them on my side.

A friend of mine had it. I liked the wristwatch and I just thought it was a terrific idea to get it. I'm on oxygen 24/7 and I've lost a lot of weight, I mean, I was 220 and right now I'm 140. Because of that I don't really go out much. I just go to the doctor to get my blood checked once in a while and sometimes I do some shopping. Since my friend got a $25 bonus for referring someone, we just went with that. We just called the man and got it. I've never used it but I'm very happy with it and I have no problems. I use the watch type thing since I'm in the house most of the time. The other company I was with would take a long time to respond. I could be dead by the time I got on the phone with them, so I'm happy I switched to MobileHelp. I'm very pleased with it, it's just perfect.

I looked things up on the internet before getting anything. The main thing that I wanted was something that I could use to get access to help even if I was out of my house. Another thing was the accessibility of the service and the fact that they would take you to a specific hospital if you requested that from them. If you call the police to help you in Philadelphia they'll just take you to any hospital they feel like, so having the option to choose was important too. Because of that, I decided to get Mobile Help. I keep the little gadget charged and when I go out I put it in its special case. I don't leave without it. I have that cardboard card on my door know that reminds me to bring it with me which is very helpful too since I've almost forgotten a couple of times. I've accepted that the button is kind of temperamental. It has gone off without me even noticing. It happened once while I was in the shower and they came in to my apartment looking for me. I was astounded by how fast they came out to help me. I think that what happened was that the button on the wristband got pressed when I took it off. I think that a lot of people in the condominium where I live could benefit from using these devices. They should go to major cities condos and give demonstrations to the elderly people that live there so they know about it. A lot of the people that live out here don't know about these devices and are intimidated about using them. They should come out here and show them just how easy it is to use. It's not that expensive either and it gives me more security.

I used to deal with another company before switching to MobileHelp. I had a lot of problems getting through to them. I tried using the base and eventually they also tried giving me a GPS thing to see if that would fix it, but the problem was still there. Their price was a little higher too, so I just wanted to switch. I had to stick with them until the contract that I had ran out, but after that I went with MobileHelp. I had actually seen them on TV before. At the time I was just having a lot of trouble with my acid re flux and I would end up in the emergency room fairly ofoten. I haven't really used MobileHelp's equipment, but I've tested it a couple of times. Last time I did that there was some kind of problem with it. After I called, it seems like the thing went off 3 different times and contacted emergency services. They ended up calling me to see if I had an emergency or something and had to tell them 3 times that it was just a test. Still, I think it's very good.

We live in Illinois, and bought this protection for Edith, in Washington, DC. Unfortunately, Edith decided she did not need this function yet. We returned the equipment within 30 days for a full refund. The initial representative, Marina, was very friendly and helpful in working out what was needed for this particular situation. Later, Customer Service ws also helpful. It was a bit difficult getting the equipment returned within 30 days. You could be more helpful in arranging pick-up for return (since we don't live in Washington, DC) I feel that the capability, process, and equipment are very good from my experience. Perhaps we can try again in a few years. Thanks. Bob Vanderburg for Edith Baudon

I saw them advertised on TV at a time when I had just lost my partner and my kids were all worried about me. Since it had the mobile unit, I thought it would fit me best. I'm usually out and about doing stuff, so I wanted something that would cover me while I'm away. So, when I saw it I thought it would bring them peace of mind and give me some mobility. I haven't had to use it, but I've accidentally set it off when I plop the thing in my purse or drop it on a surface. Because of that though I know that device picks up well on falls and that they are quick. When the alarm goes off they have been there right away to make sure I'm ok. I'm satisfied with it, it has been good.

I was unhappy with the company I had before, so I decided to switch. There has not been a time when I needed to use it. I wear the neck piece everyday and I have the alarm system in my bedroom. I also have it all set up in my bathroom, so I'm protected pretty well all the time. The button is very convenient too since I can take it anywhere I could possibly need it. The company itself is outstanding. They're far superior than the one I used to have before, especially in terms of customer support's courtesy. At one point we had some difficulty when trying to figure out things through email. They were trying to send me all the information that I needed but for some reason it wasn't coming through. In the end they managed to get everything to me and things went perfectly. They've helped me every time I need them and they've straightened out any problem that comes up. They are always very courteous, considerate, and patient. They have been endlessly patient when trying to help me understand just exactly what I'm doing with the device. I really appreciate that. It has been a very pleasant experience to work with them. I sincerely appreciate them. They're marvelous.

I used to have a different one a long time ago but I couldn't take it with me wherever I went. In the end I made the decision to switch to MobileHelp. About two weeks ago I was out doing something and I hit the button without knowing. I had the little unit in my walker and all of a sudden I heard it go off. I had to try and step out to a quieter place to speak with them but apparently they couldn't hear me. They said they would send someone to my house but since I was out I was worried they would break my door down. I tried to call them back to tell them not to do that but nobody answered. In the end, they actually tracked me to the GPS thing and it was all ok.

It just so happened that the two times that I fell happened when I was out, so after that I decided to switch to MobileHelp. I like that I can take it out with me if I have to go to town or when I go to see my doctor. It works both at home and away from it. I wear the necklace everyday and keep it on my night stand at night. It has gone off a couple of times when I wasn't even wearing them, sometimes at night. I got it since I live by myself at the end of the road. My daughter lives in town, but I usually see her once a week, so if anything happened it would take them that long to find me. Usually I get up in the morning and put the necklace on. I take the speaker part with me when I go around the house. I feel a lot better having that on me. So far I've only done tests on it, but I'm assuming that everything will be fine if I need it. I have it on me all day in case I fall or get hurt and take it off when I go to bed. One time the button came loose from the cord and got lost somewhere outside. I called them and told them about it and they sent me a new one immediately after that. The only thing I don't like is that there's no specific button to test the device. I have to do that once a month or so and I have to use up the main button and dial in as if it was an emergency when I'm just testing it.

My wife has Alzheimer's, so she wears it and always has it close in case she needs it. They were very informative when I had questions and they gave me the opportunity to try everything out and make sure that it all worked before I was obligated to buy it. We've had it for 3 months and she hasn't had to use it yet. She has accidentally activated it a couple of times though, and everyone has been very prompt and on the ball when that happens. From that I'm glad to know that we'll get a prompt response and that the people on the other side of the phone are knowledgeable. I like the fact that, when the battery starts to run low, it gives you a warning so we can plug it in to be charged. It's also got the tracking device so if my wife wonders off I can still locate her quickly. I'm really happy with the service that we have.

I liked the products and options they offered. You can pick between the necklace, the bracelet, or have both of them. You can also get a door lock to put an extra key in it for EMS. It was all much easier to use than the one I had before and they didn't give me as much as MobileHelp does. With the device it's easier and faster to get the paramedics out here. I haven't had to use it yet, knock on wood, but it all seems to be ok. Customer support is very conscientious of who is using their products and they stand by it. If you don't like something about the ones you have, they will exchange it for something else. I haven't had to do that myself, but it's an option. I'm perfectly happy with it. I've recommended it to a couple of friends, especially one of them who has seizures and passes out. With this, they don't need to press the button, the device will just detect the fall and send the alert. With this you get a lot more than what you pay for.

I read their Ad in the AARP magazine and decided to give it a try. I haven't had to use it yet. I've had it for a couple of months now and one day I did accidentally hit my wristband. I got a bit of a courtesy call from them on the device that I can take outdoors and things were fine. Later on I called to ask some questions and the person I talked to was just so helpful. He told me different things about the alarm, including how to turn the signal off when I accidentally press it. I can just hold the button until the little red light that comes on turns green to do that. He also put me at ease regarding pressing the button by accident. He told me not to make myself sick over it and that that happened sometimes. I appreciated that so much that I almost felt like calling them back to tell them they should promote him. I like that they communicate with me and the way they keep me up to date on everything. I have a lot of confidence in them and it's satisfying to have the device around, it offers me a lot of help.

That happened at 10:30 at night and I wish I had had everything up and running then. I was able to get out of there and get to a hospital, but I ended up spending a week in there. Now I have the pendant on me all the time. The mobile part of it, the one you carry, is on its charging station. I haven't really left so I just keep it there. I had been a pastor for 45 years until I retired. I live alone since my wife is in a nursing home because of dementia. At the time I retired, I had heard of people who had falls when they were by themselves. I even heard about someone that had a massive stroke and died in her home and her body wasn't discovered for six days. I'm actually in pretty good health at 80 years. I'm a runner and do other things to be in good condition, but I still live alone and I didn't want to be a victim of the things that happened to other people. I wanted to have a device to get help. I saw an ad for MobileHelp and recognized it as a good product, so I decided to sign up with them. I liked that they had a fall device that I could wear in the shower and their batteries had a longer life. Supposedly it can last up to a year functioning without problems. The device itself charges up in 15 or 20 minutes, even if I've been wearing it all day. I have the outdoor button on a bike since I go biking sometimes. That way if I get into trouble while I'm out riding I can get an immediate response from someone. It doesn't matter where I am. Several of my friends had had bad falls on the ice, one of them actually broke their wrists when they fell. Because of that I always take out the mobile unit, even when I go out to get the mail or something like that. Recently, after clearing the driveway of ice, the alarm went off and they called me. Things went along beautifully and it was almost immediate. I know that if I actually fall they'll call me right away. I'm very satisfied with them.

I had used it once in the past and was very happy with it. I had to discontinue my service back then because I couldn't afford it. After being in the hospital for a while I came home very much decided on getting back with the service and getting the health unit back. When I registered, the customer service people that I talked to were outstanding. They had good follow up since I had to talk to my children before making my choice. They said alright and called me back when I had asked them to. They have been very patient and kind. I have no complaints against them. I haven't needed to use it thus far though. I'm still on a walker and have fallen 5 or 6 times since I came home in November, but all those times I've been fortunate enough to be close to a phone or cellphone. It's still a very handy thing for me. I like that I have the choice of going with the neck or watch type of unit. I use the watch 90% of the time since I don't like the necklace. It just gets in the way when I'm doing things. The watch is kind of neutral so it goes with anything that I wear. It also stays put and doesn't slide around my wrist. I've always had good service. It's worth every penny that I pay for.

He usually wears that one because he has some trouble buckling the wrist band one. So far he hasn't had to use it, though he did have one accidental call. When that happened, I had to take the call since my mother had some trouble managing it and he couldn't reset it with the wrist one. They were very quick to handle everything and were very courteous about it. I haven't had any problems with it and I've been very happy so far. It is a little bit pricey, but it's worth it since it's just reassuring for the family to know that he has it.

We had a different company before that had this thing where you needed to be a certain distance from the monitor for it to even go off. That was a problem for us since my husband is dying and he needs the alarm to work no matter what or where he is. Since MobileHelp follows you everywhere, not just in your house, we decided to get it. They have different choices and they offer them all to you. You can choose the one that works best for you, be it the necklace, the arm band, or anything. It's all to make you comfortable. Customer service is phenomenal. They helped me figure out the billing with Medicare and insurance stuff and everything went very smoothly with that. They are very competitive price-wise. They offer better services than other companies. I wish they could insert themselves into hospitals in the state of Oregon so that they could ensure that people get the right apparatuses for what they need. Their response time has been good. We push the button accidentally all the time and they don't fuzz about it. They'll be there if you push it, accident or not. The ambulance gets there quick enough as well, I'm convinced it will save his life. In all honesty, we're supposed to keep him in a facility. There are times when his blood gas is not working well and he falls out every fifteen seconds or so. There's really nothing we can do about that at home. Thanks to MobileHelp I can care for him at home rather than sending him to a hospital.

I liked the fact that it had no contract and that it could travel with you anywhere in the States. You could take it to the grocery store or the backyard and it'll work. They're very good. Knock on wood, I haven't had to use it yet, but my grandson has pushed it accidentally a couple of times and the response we get has been immediate. Every time that happens they have been ok. I apologize for my grandson pushing it and they're very nice and helpful about it. It's no big deal and I don't have to worry about it. I just got a statement for my payment that's due next month. I really appreciate that since I'm an elderly person with a very short memory, so receiving that is very helpful.

We had a different company and we just were not satisfied with it. We would lose connection with them all the time so we searched for a different service. MobileHelp seemed to be the best one and it was also reasonably priced, so we picked it and paid for a year of the service. We haven't had to use it yet, my wife just wears the wristband all the time. The only problem we've had is that it gives her a rash, so she has to change the band from wrist to wrist. The system is just up and running and it has been effective as far as we know. We've had no reason to call them since we haven't run into any problems. There hasn't been any emergencies either, but we know that if anything happens we can just punch the button and get 911 over here. They're a good program.

I saw it on TV and they talked about how you can carry it anywhere. They mentioned you could have a necklace, a bracelet, and a third one that you could carry to get help if anything happened while you were away from home. I had been wanting something like that for a while. At the time I was scared of having nothing with me when my kids went to sleep since I get dizzy a lot. Anything could happen in the middle of the night, so having it now makes me feel better. I carry it with me all the time though lately my kids have been around me very often. Still, I have it mainly for when I go out by myself. That way if anything happens I can just push the button and call them. So far they have been very nice and generous. One time I called them at a time when they couldn't attend to me, but they kept my number and gave me a call back to know what I had to say. I get billed every three months and that helps us a lot. Since I'm on a budget, this helps me pay for it and still be fairly stable. I'm completely satisfied with it. I know they'll take care of me if I need help and thanks to that I'm no longer scared of doing the things I need to do.

I used to have a decent one since I'm diabetic and get dizzy sometimes. When I saw their commercial I just thought 'you know what, that one is not like the other ones, so I'll give it a chance.' At the time I could cancel the other one since I had been with them for 6 months already. So, I did just that and went ahead and got MobileHelp. I like their wristband, the necklace, and the other one that you can put on your waist and take everywhere. Since I'm retired, on a typical day I'm at the mechanic doing little jobs on cars and stuff. If anything happens, I have it there for that. I'm very happy with it. I accidentally hit it once and then, five seconds later, the phone rang. That was during Christmas and they confirmed that it was actually me, that I was alright, and were also able to tell that I was in Tucson, Arizona. It worked great. Now my brother and I are going to get one for my mom and sister since they've both fallen quite a few times.

I got it because it is mobile and I can take it with me anywhere in the United States. I really liked the idea of that since I can press the button at anytime and in any place and they can help me. Besides, I don't even have to have a landline to be able to use it. Another thing I liked is that it comes with a lock box and something you can put on your door so that no one has to break into my home to get me help. They were the only ones I found that offered that. I haven't had to use it, but we had an incident when my grandson accidentally pressed the button. All I had to do is hit the reset and everything went fine. They called as soon as it happened and were very helpful. I feel very secure with it.

It met a lot of the needs my mother had, so I got it for her since she lives a couple hundred miles away from me. It was very easy to order it online, and everything got to her in a timely manner. She has had it for less than a month, so we haven't needed it. It is easy for her to carry it around though. They send you 2 devices and you have to carry the base as well as the lanyard or watch when you go out, but it's all very lightweight and convenient. I can maintain and manage the account via their MobileHelp App. Their customer service representatives follow up with you very well. They are very knowledgeable, understanding, and compassionate. They have also been very sympathetic to our situation and have taken notes about it. They are very in tune with our individual case. It all offers me a sense of security.

They just offered more than the service I had before. I had the choice of going with a pendant or wrist button. They also had the little lock thing that you can put outside with an extra key and a place to store medical information, both to make it easier for police or fire department to come help you. I knew the pendant wouldn't work for me that well since it gets in the way when I'm doing things. That's why I carry one of the wrist things on my coat pocket and keep the other by my bed. It's helpful since I take my dogs out frequently and that way I have it with me when I go out with them or when I go to sleep. The little thing that's kind of a charger is in my bathroom. So far there hasn't been any real emergencies, but I've tested it a couple of times. They have been very polite and have answered all of my questions. In fact, I had to call them today about billing since they had my old credit card number and I wanted to pay by check this time.

It seemed to fit all the needs that we had and it was also within a price range that we felt comfortable with, so we got it for our parents. We've been called several times because my parents either fell or they accidentally set the device off. In the beginning we would get a lot of calls, sometimes even in the middle of the night, because my parents were still getting used to it all. Usually what would happen is that they would set off the alarm but wouldn't be able to reset it. They just had a very hard time doing that since they're older, so MobileHelp would call me. If I couldn't respond, they had a list of people they would call after, though I usually answered and at that point I would determine if it was a life threatening situation, if they had fallen, or if it was a false alarm. If I need to, I would just run over since they're right next door to see if they were ok. We think that the necklaces were too long, which made it easy for my parents to lean on it or set something on top of it. That was probably why there were a bunch of false alarms. We have re-adjusted the necklaces' length to make them shorter, and that has helped with the false alarms. Now my father's necklace is too short though. He was fallen a time or two and the thing hasn't gone off. I need to go back and adjust it so that it's long enough for it to detect a fall but short enough that the alarm doesn't go off if he moves his arm or something. We're just having problems because the piece that you use to adjust it slides around a whole bunch. Customer support has been really helpful and nice though. When I've called with silly questions, or when my parents were still learning how to use the system and set off the alarm, they never fuzzed and were always wonderful. The medical alert system seems to work well. The only issue we've had is that we can only have one box and that one is currently up in the living room. Since my parents are 80 years old and have a hard time hearing, it's hard for them to know if the thing goes off. Maybe I can move it a bit closer to their room so they can hear it better, but I'd like to have two of those boxes. If there was a way to get another one without getting an entirely different set of devices, then I would've done that. That way we could have one box for the front of the house and another one for the back to cover everything.

From the ads that I saw, it seemed like their service would fit me best, so I decided to go ahead and get it for my husband. He needed it because he had fallen a few times before. He hasn't had to use it yet, but he wears it everyday. The people that I've spoken to have always been polite and informative. They're always there. Yesterday I tried calling to test it and it was all very easy to do, not complicated at all. It all happened quickly and we didn't have to wait around for a long time or any of that. I like the bracelet better than the other one we had. The other one was very difficult to put on and it fell off a number of times. This one actually fits him and hasn't fallen off. As far as I understand, two people could use the thing if they wanted to. My husband has two wristbands that I put away, they haven't been used, but I could wear them. I think that's a good feature and I don't really know any other company that does that. Price-wise it's very reasonable. I'm paying about the same amount as with the other company that I used.

I had contacted one other company and I didn't like their pricing. I liked a lot more of what the young woman I talked to told me about Mobile Help, and I have been very satisfied with it so far. It was almost half of the price of the other companies that I contacted. My son is a former paramedic and firefighter, and he runs into a lot of different systems. He looked at mine and said it's very good, and very clear as to the buttons and everything else, and he thought it was a good system. When I tested it when I first set it up, they answered immediately. They were very quick answering, and they took my information that I was only testing it. They've been fine. I take the mobile part with me whenever I go out in the car or take the dog out for a walk or run errands. I have it out in the car in case I should have a problem in the car and I can't reach my purse or my pocket, so I have it sitting there, and then I take it with me when I get out to walk around.

We got the service for my father. Thank goodness he hasn't had to use it, but he never takes the bracelet off. Anytime he is in his vehicle, or when he leaves the house, he puts the mobile unit in his pocket. So far we've only had it for two months, but they have been nothing but helpful to us. Even when we first called them they didn't pressure us for any information. I like their equipment since they have the option of the bracelet. Their competitor, which is FDA approved, does not have a bracelet for when you leave your home. All it has is the pendant which, at my dad's age, is something he won't wear. He's an old guy and he prefers the watch type of device. They are also very competitively priced. When we got it they had this deal where you could buy the service for a year with a discount. You could also pay month to month, but we decided to just get it for a whole year since it was a reasonable deal.

I shopped around and this one looked like the best for my husband and I. I haven't had to use it, I've only had it for about 2 weeks. I'm just glad to have it though. Primarily I have two wristwatches and one for the neck, but I'd like to have another pedant. The wrist one doesn't quite fit my husband's wrist and the one I have for myself just keeps turning. The button always ends up on its side instead of on top of my wrist. I have actually requested another pendant and I didn't have to beg or anything. I just explained the situation to them and they said 'yes, we will send you one.' Other than that, I carry the mobile unit with me whenever we go out together, and he carries it when he goes out alone. I feel better having it, especially after a friend fell in his home two weeks ago. He laid on the floor for fifteen hours waiting for someone to come and check in on him. To this day, he's still in the ICU because of that. I'm happy I got this as a way to plan ahead.

They have stayed in touch with me to inquire if I needed anything or had a problem or anything, so they have been aware of me. I've already paid a year in advance, so that's good that they still find it comforting to me to check with me every so often. A friend got one with another reputable company, and it was quite a bit cheaper than this one. This is the first time I've ever had one and it seems like all the bases are covered. I have never had to use it, but I keep it on. I would either wear the necklace or the watch band one. It appears to be available all the time and that gives me comfort. I bought another one for my daughters and they recommended it very highly.

I had used a Jitterbug before, but this seemed the best way for me to go. It's a great comfort just knowing that even when I go shopping, I'm not alone. I've already recommended it to other people. I did set it off twice by mistake, and once my husband and I were just going to walk two houses down for a few hours, so I left the fall pendant, the GPS thing that goes with it, and my telephone at home. We don't know what set it off, but the firemen came, and broke down the door because they got to the house before they got the security code. Then the police came down and walked us home. I cancelled the fall button and got another pendant instead. The medical alert was very quick even the two times I sent it off by mistake. It was right there. Even before I realized I had set it off, I got somebody talking to me. I think that support has been very helpful for me, and I haven't had it that long, but it's been very helpful.

I saw the advertisement on TV. It's GPS located, so I called, and their salesman does a good job. They were very polite, they asked me what I wanted, I told him I want the whole ball of wax, so that's what I got. I have everything I need, everything I could want, and the only thing I didn't want, but took anyway, was that they sent a fall monitor, and it came a week before the whole package. It all does everything I wanted. I like to travel and It will go anywhere I go, all over the world, because it's GPS located. I wanted something that I could take with me, not just here around the apartment.

It's working great, the response time is good. I set it off yesterday by mistake. I hit it while I was vaccuming, and they were very quick to respond, so I at least know that they're very good about getting back to you. They made sure to ask me again and at the end of the conversation if everything was okay. So I just think the response time is great, and I was really surprised that they're just right there. I only checked out a couple units, but because they have their satellite, that makes the difference. For me that was the answer, rather than the cost. They can follow me everywhere I go and it knows where I am. A lot of the systems don't do that. I wish I would have had it when I fell before. That's what prompted me to get more help. I'm here alone by myself, so it's great to have if something happens when my husband travels. I would recommend it to anybody so far.

Between researching, consumer reports, and talking with my son about it, this one had everything I needed at the most affordable price. I have only used it so far to do testing and it works. One time I apparently hit it by accident and one of the buttons said 'in progress.' They did what they said they would do: they responded as if it was an emergency, asked if I needed help, made sure I was alright, and after that we were finished. It was a successful test. The only small thing that I've run into is that when I use my electric shaver, the cord of the neck button gets caught it, but it's nothing major. All I have to do is pull it out and it's all good.

Their customer support people have answered my questions, and they also reached out to me to complete the medical information for my mother. The parts that my mom would be wearing are not overly intrusive on her; it's the watch or the pendant, so it's not something that's big and bulky on her. It seems to be user friendly. The instructions included provided the necessary information, and so far it seems to be meeting her needs. It was recommended by a friend who was in a similar situation with her parents, and I would certainly refer them to other friends who are in similar situations with concerns about parents falling when they're not around.

I looked through the AARP magazine and there were three or four of them there. I just read the different things that they had and I chose MobileHelp since I liked the idea of having a GPS thing that I could take with me when I went anywhere. Plus, they also gave me the lock key. I wear the necklace every day, though I don't like the black thing that the button hangs from. It just kept rubbing on my neck, so I just put it on another chain that I had. I take the mobile device with me wherever I go. I find it easy to carry with me, they even gave me a case and everything to put that in. Thank god I haven't had to use either one of them, but I feel safe having them. The price was right and I'm happy with it.
